This place is cute, and hipster-ish from the decor. The staff member who helped my friend and I was really sweet. She guided us through the flavors, as it was our first time here. We sampled a few and I ended up getting a chocolate mint flavored gelato and a (white) mint flavored gelato with chocolate chips. Although the flavor was definitely there, my gelato was quite icy. It was a unique store, but I'm not sure that I would return. The customer service is great though. read more

Gelato was dope! Great selections of flavors made from scratch. They even have a vegan/non-dairy flavors for the allergy kids and health nut folks. I ordered the "Scouts Honor" chocolate chips with Girl Scout's thin mints. The second scoop was honey stracciatella. Really good chocolate chip gelato with a hint of honey. Pretty cool place and location that's connected to other restaurants. Friendly customer service and they do have a punch card to get free ice cream on your 8th or 10th purchase. I've gotta be as positive as possible here. Excellent service and they put out a good product. But we went yesterday and got our order and were on our way to a top notch experience. Then, out of nowhere all the employees that were working started having a managers or employee meeting right where we sat down. This didn't last a minute or two but five to ten, it was loud, distracting, and in our opinion completely uncalled for. It's not up to the customer where you decide to have your work meeting and we had no interest in being that up close and personal with the inner workings of a gelato shop. Sorry to rate so low but that totally tanked my experience. read more

This place is cute & so are the other shops around!! I had the Mango and my boyfriend had the cream gelato. Mango was so good!! It tasted really fruity and not overly surgery. Sofie's scoops are seriously sweet and sinful. My best gals and I rendezvoused in Olympia for a girls weekend, three of us from Seattle and one from Portland. All the flavors are delicious, and the scoops generous. So delightful, we came here three times in three days and collaboratively filled up an entire punch card together. My siblings and I stumbled upon this little piece of heaven when looking for a nice dessert place in Olympia. It's a cute little shop at the entrance of a market space with a decent amount of seating in front. We were all so excited to see the unique flavors and super creamy texture of all the gelato. I got the lavender blueberry and Olympia fog, which went great together! I tried the aprium (plum and apricot) flavor too and was kind of bummed that I couldn't get three flavors because it was soooo good. Lots of places in the area were closed later in the evening, but thank goodness Sofie's Scoops was open! read more

Really good gelato and the waffle cone was excellent. Tasted just like a cookie. My wife and I had a scoop each of the butterscotch and coffee. The butterscotch was awesome and not too sweet and the coffee was great without being too strong or over powering. They didn't have too many flavors, maybe 10 total but the ones we sampled we're good too. Nice little spot downtown. I tried their Olympia fog gelato that has early grey tea, rose, and vanilla. You have to try it! It was very tasty! Not sure if I would have been able to eat a bowl though! Sofie is a dairy wizard. All the ingredients are high-quality and fresh, but then she takes it to a whole new level of confectionery prowess with a bunch of rotating flavors that are inventive and mouth cuddling. It's the best gelato I've had outside of Italy and in Italy I had to brave a lawless wasteland of mopeds and people that aren't great at municipal infrastructure.
