    Ahi tuna bowl
    Michael B.

I don't love fast-casual much these days, but SoFresh gets it right. Food is always fresh and cooked right - here you see any ahi tuna poke bowl with the hoisin sauce. Lots of flavor in this bowl, nice and crunchy vegetables (even the seaweed was fresh). People here are always nice too. Great lunch spot downtown that you can't go wrong with.

This was surprisingly so good!! I can be a bit skeptical about healthy fast food places because sometimes i think the food can be bland and dry. SoFresh was perfect!! I loved my greek bowl and will definitely be ordering that many times in the future. They also had delicious smoothies, and the option to build your own bowl was easy and very versatile! The caesar wrap definitely could've been better, but that might have been because i didn't get any chicken in it. I do think it needed a bit extra dressing, but overall still good. Also, the person working the register was super nice to us, which was great. Overall, this place is convenient, healthy and really tasty! Def recommend.

I was visiting Pittsburgh for a half marathon and wanted something a bit lighter the night before the race. After searching Yelp for a good salad, SoFresh stood out. I downloaded their app and was able to quickly place my order and as a bonus, I received $5 off of my first order. The salads are already very reasonably priced, but it was a steal with the first order offer! Their signature bowls looked great, but I decided to build a custom salad. I opted for romaine, red quinoa, tomatoes, corn, onions and tzatziki. I do wish they allowed for a couple additional add-ins without a charge. The salad was ready within the 20 minute window they gave me, so I was able to quickly grab and dash back to my hotel. The red quinoa with lemon was the star of the bowl. It was rich and vibrant, while adding some much needed (healthy) carbs to the dish. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and all melded perfectly. The tzatziki was okay, I honestly wish there was more of a kick of flavor to it. This would be a perfect spot for a quick lunch or dinner on the go, although they do have indoor seating.

I stopped by SoFresh in downtown and this was a full spread--and every bite delivered. I ordered the Caesar wrap, the Mediterranean salad, and the warm teriyaki bowl with salmon, and everything tasted fresh, balanced, and filling without feeling heavy. The flavors were clean, vibrant, and well-seasoned--exactly what you want when you're choosing to eat better without sacrificing taste. For drinks, I tried the Sunrise smoothie with added blueberries, plus their berry lemonade, and both were refreshing and perfectly blended. I also grabbed chips and matcha to round out the meal, which made this feel like a complete lunch (or shareable spread). What I really love about SoFresh is that it's a healthy, vegetarian-friendly restaurant that still offers protein options like salmon, making it easy for everyone--whether you're plant-based, pescatarian, or just trying to eat cleaner--to find something satisfying. If you're downtown and want food that's fresh, flavorful, and intentional, SoFresh is definitely worth the stop.

Loved visiting SoFresh today after my sauna treatment. The Strawberry Apple salad was refreshing & delicious. I loved the various choices & options. I also have to go back & try the smoothies and the other natural drinks that they offer. I'm glad to have some vegetarian & vegan options within Market Sq. So I guess I can deem this a new favorite spot although it has been there for sometime; it was a new discovery for me. Check it out the next time your in the square.

My first time at so fresh was a great experience. All the food was wonderful. The staff was very helpful with assisting my order. The environment in the store was very nice. I'd go back any day! Go check it out

I tried SoFresh for the first time and overall, it was solid! The ingredients in the Strawberry Fuji Salad with chicken were tasty and fresh and balanced well. For a quick lunch pickup or delivery, this was a good choice that kept me full throughout the day.

This was my first visit. Customers place orders via a kiosk. It's fairly easy and self explanatory. When your order is complete you are called to the pick up window to retrieve. Everything was super fresh. I opted to add grilled shrimp to my salad. I appreciated the shrimp being cooked well but not overdone.

This is a delayed review, but I had a great brunch at SoFresh. I got a brown rice bowl with sweet potatoes, eggs, and guacamole. It was so flavorful, delicious, satisfying, and healthy! I would highly recommend! They have a lot of options to choose from, and can make substitutions and custom bowls!

This will be my second time here. I got the green smoothie it was so good! Also I did a different salad with kale and it was very good! The place is always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly! I downloaded the app and you get $5 off it didn't work for me so I just put my order thru anyways. The girl talked to the Manager and he ended up giving me a credit of $5 which was so nice of him.

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.

We sat for a long time actually waiting for a server to come speak with us and get our drink order. So long, despite not being a full place, that I told my wife I wanted to get up and leave. I was very, very frustrated. I had been glancing at their menu on Yelp and saw some tacos that I wanted to try, unfortunately the restaurant cut their menu back to only five tacos to choose from. I'm guessing to simplify things for the Draft crowd that they anticipated coming. Our server finally came to take our drink order and after so long we knew what we wanted. The server wasn't exactly friendly or attentive. We started with street corn as an appetizer, it was awesome. My wife had the chicken tacos and didn't like them. She said they were mushy and had an off flavor that she didn't enjoy. I had the birria tacos. They were not bad, they didn't come with any sauce/juice as all the other birria tacos I've ever had typically come with. I have to say, I was disappointed in the menu being reduced and other than the street corn app., just wasn't impressed. The service was not good, my wife's taco were bad and my were okay. It serves wood-fired cuisine that uses locally raised meats, house-made pasta, and seasonal vegetables. Currently, during the winter, examples of menu items are small plates (e.g., roasted beet salad and heirloom carrots), mid courses (e.g., linguine and blue-bay mussels), large plates (e.g., sesame soy-glazed eggplant, pork chop, and picanha), desserts (e.g., pistachio cake and Kahlua fudge brownie), and alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beers). For my husband and me, I made a reservation for dinner through the Resy website. I chose from options of the dining room, a four-season patio with awnings and heaters, and a chef's counter with a view of the kitchen. Please note that although the foods are upscale, the dress code seems to be smart casual. We parked our vehicle in a lot a short walk away. Upon our arrival to the restaurant, a seating hostess promptly greeted and seated us. Our server provided courteous and attentive service, such as taking our order and bringing our foods on time, refilling our waters, and cleaning my crumbs. We started with a Crab Cake with decent amount of crab meat, mushroom duxelles, tasty truffle aioli, and a side of arugula salad.
