I typically am not a big fan of healthy food but this is the best healthy food I have ever eaten. Their bowls are amazing. Large and filling but never leaving me uncomfortably full. I always feel satisfied and happy with myself when I eat a meal there. The superfood bowl is to die for!! They are very quick if you call ahead and order. The staff is also very friendly. And there are usually good looking athletic customers in there (hey- that's always a plus, right?) parking is not great in the lot there but that's literally my only complaints. This is my favorite SoFresh location, I love the friendly staff and they always remember my name! I recommend the Banana Date Smoothie & the Boca Fiesta with Avocado Green Goddess ... my go-to protein is always the Shrimp, so freaking good! The parking lot is a nightmare, bring your smart car if you want to park . But the food is well worth a ding in your car door. I had a wrap that was so good. My only complaint is a little extra cleaning but I would highly recommend it and even though I live across the bridge it would be worth the drive. read more

So I've been to SoFresh before, and it's was amazing, and I wrote a great review, but today was so bad that I felt I needed to write review number two... I walk in around 8:30, order my food and it was good. BUT what disrupted the great vibe of delicious food in my belly was the awful language I could hear coming from the kitchen! They were using racial slurs and f*ck this, blah, blah, blah. Then at 8:45, which they close at 9, a women walks in and orders, steps outside and they were complaining (loudly) about her order saying it better not contain certain ingredients because they already packed them up. The crap talking didn't stop there, but I feel you get my drift. If you're going at night between 8:30-9, rethink your dinner choice! I ordered a Shrimp Cauli Bowl via uber eats. My order came quickly within a reasonable period of time. My food was cold, I'm thinking it's the clear plastic clamshell container used, it doesn't keep the heat in. Not a big deal for me. My total without the uber eats surcharge was $19.90. For close to $20 I would expect more than a container with 80% brown rice, some diced cauliflower, 6 florets if broccoli (literally, I counted), 3 paper thin slices of carrot and 8 measly shrimp. It did taste good but it is waaayy overpriced for what you get. So glad we tried this place for lunch this weekend. Between the 5 of us eating, we tried the smoothies, Chicken pesto wrap, skinny bowl, and a few other items. We were impressed with everything. This will be my new "go to" lunch spot. Only issue was parking. This place is going to get more popular as more people hear about it. I would be surprised if there were any negative reviews. Note: I'm the customer that suggested you add Barefruit Cinnamon Apple Chips to the menu. Just excellent!!!!! This place is a unicorn- healthy fast food. I love that you can make your own bowls. The basil pesto sauce was so good, as was the quinoa, tofu and Ahi. Portions were very generous, and there is plenty of seating (including outdoor). The best part though was how friendly the staff was- they were patient and explained the menu ( ex- that the tofu was made to order if you like it crispy ). Plus the guys remembered my name and asked "how was your food meghan? When I was putting my dishes away ". Thanks- one of the most enjoyable lunch experiences I've had in a long time!!!!! read more

Love love love SoFresh! The location is prime, right in the middle of South Howard. The parking is a little busy but normally never an issue. I always get the Superfood bowl with Ahi tuna. It comes with rice, quinoa, broccoli, tomato, avocado, and walnuts. The balsamic glaze they give you for the tuna is SO good! It is a little more pricey but in my opinion it's worth it. It's very fresh, healthy, and delicious! I always highly recommend to anyone. read more

This review is for the downtown location. It has come highly recommended by many people but the lines are usually very long during the lunch hour so I have not made it over until recently. We had clients coming in, so decided to order out. I was pleased that they delivered and nice to try something with others who have eaten their before. My order was a Granny salad with Salmon. It tasted good, the portion of Salmon was very healthy at 5-6 oz and the dressing came on the side. The salad was supposed to come with apples raisins and other things, but the only items I noticed were bacon slivers and a few nuts. The spinach lettuce was fine, but there simply wasn't much of it. I ate the entire salad in about 5 minutes, and heading into a 4 hour meeting immediately knew i was going to be starving within an hour or two. The cost of the salad was $10, plus a $5 cost for the Salmon. At $15 and still very hungry, this meal was ridiculously overpriced. I know people go there and don't mind paying extra to enjoy healthy food, and I fully support that. But I eat fairly well already, and we almost always have similar salads at the ready at our home that are just as good at a fraction of the cost. There was another salad place right across the street for years, but they also fell victim to the "costs a lot and inconsistent quantity" issue. I hope that doesn't happen to SoFresh. But if I am going to pay north of $16 for lunch, it isn't going to happen often for me standing in long lines and still being hungry after. FTR, I am not a big person, weighing in under 170 so it isn't like i am insisting on some huge buffet portion. read more

Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. After drinking for three days straight I thought it would be a good idea to stop. And detox. Came here with my bff and I could not have been happier with my choice (thank you, Yelp). First thing might have been my favorite thing. The homemade broth with chicken. WOW. This soup literally warmed my hungover soul. It was just so good and flavorful and all around perfect. I could drink that broth every day, for the rest of my life. After my friend and I shared the soup I had the stir fry bowl with the ahi tuna and she had the Boca Fiesta wrap. Omg. Amazing. I thought I would be too full from all the soup but (surprise!) I wasn't. The brown rice and veggies and the sweet chili, everything was so perfect in the bowl. My friends wrap was also amazing. Just so good. Ughhhhhhhh. I wish there was one of these in Miami. The only thing I didn't like was the Kale Tonic. I ordered it and then saw them pour it out of a jug, it wasn't fresh pressed at the moment and I just thought it was missing flavor. Very bland. My only complaint is that a few times now, my order (which I get to go), the chicken and the veggies were cooked too well (some burnt); at the cost of the lunch, I don't want burnt food. I'm amazed that someone could ruin such a simple dish... rice was undercooked, chicken was horribly overcooked. They forgot to add the second sauce I paid extra for, and even forgot to add the 3rd vegetable I selected. It was a take out order so I wasn't expecting much, but it sent my standards even lower. I've really been trying to eat clean, healthy, good food. Of course I am a fan of Fresh Kitchen on South Howard, but I recommend SoFresh more! My favorite is the super food bowl, which contains quinoa, avocado, walnuts, broccoli, and your choice of protein. I get mine with seared ahi tuna. It is truly fabulous. The first time I came to SoFresh, it was amazing. Erin, greater me right away. She asked if I had been there before and proceeded to explain the menu and the build your own options. She made it so simple to figure out what I wanted and gave me so much info in such a professional way, with tasteful humor here and there. She seemed so passionate and genuine. After I ordered, she asked if I was new to the area and then explained the lunch card system. Somehow, in today's society, customer service has died a little. Erin reminded me how it should be. She made me feels so comfortable and gave me an urge to want to come back. HERE'S why I gave SoFresh 3 starts instead of 5: (April 7, 2017)I enjoyed my first experience so much that I had to bring my girlfriend back to show her this new amazing place I found. The experience was NOTHING like the first. We walked in the door and the girl at the counter didn't great us. She continued do whatever it was she was doing. I started to feel as if we were a bother and maybe should go. Finally the young, blonde girl looked up and said hey, then put something in her mouth and was chewing. I again felt as if I was interrupting and didn't want to bother her while she was eating. Once I noticed she was done chewing I grabbed her attention (she never asked us what we would like to order) and began ordering. My girlfriend began ordering and these two guys walked in (her friends). One guy screened this very loud SoFresh jingle he I guess came up up with and immediately the young, blonde girls attention was gone. She kept looking at them and laughing and barely even listening to us. Making us repeat ourselves over and over. Then one guy took out his phone and took a picture with a flash. He must have not known his flash was on and then started explaining he was taking a picture of her. It made us feel VERY uncomfortable and it was as if he was taking a picture of us. We are a sane sex couple and have experienced males tormenting us. Even if it wasn't us he was taking a picture of, it still made us feel uncomfortable and the possibility of our picture going around with peoples awful comments. Then when we were trying to close out the order, my girlfriend said she'd like everything wrapped to go, the girl started charging us for a wrap Togo. She again wasn't listening to us. I saw Erin come out and began asking her questions. I wanted to make sure our order was right because I had such little faith in the young blonde girl. Plus, as uncomfortable as I was, I knew talking with Erin and I'd feel a little more comfortable. Erin made sure I got everything correct with the Anthony's I wanted on the side. We decided to eat a little bit in the store and take the rest home. Though we should have left. As we sat there and ate, we saw Erin work so hard. She was refilling napkins, cleaning tables, and do all kinds of things. She never stopped working. The blonde girl sat there and talked with her friends who were very obnoxious. We watched him swipe a cookie from the counter right in front of her and she did nothing. Then drunk people started coming in and that's when we said enough was enough. Why are people drunk at 8pm? But that's another issue unrelated to this. Now for the food. Oh my goodness, it is amazing. Both times I have gotten the build your own bowl and I just can't handle how amazing it is. Everything is so refreshing. It's light and full of body fuel. We came the second time after a workout and that salmon was orgasmic. Their seasoning isn't over the top. It's very simple.
