I just discovered this place on Uber Eats and not sure how I've lived without it. I just had one the best salads of my life. They can prepare tofu better than anywhere else. The avocado dressing was so yummy and I'm blown away that it's vegan. The prices are very reasonable as well. I'll definitely be in soon! read more

My fiance and I live in Orlando, but we were in the area for a music festival and had planned to visit SoFresh for dinner, since we had heard some good things. In hindsight, we probably should have just gone to Evos. We arrived around 8:20PM on a Friday; I ordered the Superfood Bowl with Ahi Tuna and my s/o ordered a veggie wrap. We waited about 25 mins to receive our food, and it was served to us in plastic containers. When we asked why, we were told that they were closing soon. The hours on the door said 11AM - 10PM. My 'superfood bowl' was an enormous pile of brown rice, an ahi tuna fillet, and a small handful of broccoli. There were literally two walnuts in the entire entree, less than a 1/8th cup of diced tomato, and two pitifully small avocado slivers. The whole thing was swimming in oil. In defense of fairness, the tuna was the best thing about the order; it was cooked well and flavorful. My fiance noted to me that his wrap was generally flavorless. The 'kale slaw' was some kale in a styrofoam cup with some dressing poured on top. We were very disappointed as a whole, it seemed very apparent that the staff wanted to close early and they were just pushing out orders with no attention to quality. Maybe our experience wasn't the norm, but I can't say we would ever go back or recommend the restaurant to any of our friends that frequent the Tampa area. read more

Visiting Tampa to look for housing for my daughter who's going to attend USF in the fall and stumbled upon this restaurant in SoHo.I'm always looking for a healthy alternative and this seemed perfect once they advertised that everything is healthy and fresh. They offer a variety of foods including soup, bowls, wraps, and salads. The portions are a good size, so you won't leave feeling hungry. I ordered the signature salad. It included romaine, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, goat cheese, sunflower seeds, raisins, avacado, homemade balsamic vinaigrette and for my protein I chose the chicken. The staff was friendly, the service was efficient. The bathroom and tables were clean. My salad was great! Fresh, crispy and the balsamic vinaigrette was sooo good! I loved it! First off I'd like to start off by saying that SoFresh is hands down one of my new favorite spots in South Tampa. The restaurant is conveniently located right in the heart of Soho and makes it easy to access after those long nights on Howard. The hours are great as well, especially on the weekends, you are now able to get a healthy meal instead of that 2 am pizza! The staff is professional and very friendly, and will always have a good suggestion if you are having trouble picking something out the many amazing choices SoFresh has to offer. Lastly, the FOOD, there are no words to describe the food. Not only is it healthy, it is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The menu has so many choices, something for everyone's palate. On my first visit there I had the Cali Wrap, it was very refreshing and again as everything else on the menu, DELICIOUS! One of the other food items on the menu that i highly recommend are the mouthwatering kale crisps! I could not get enough of that side, its phenomenal! I ate here for the first time today after hearing positive feedback from friends. My wrap was the most delicious wrap I've ever had, and that is not hyperbole. I ordered the "veggie" wrap with the chicken topper. My first reaction was that it is "so fresh" ( kind of making me feel ridiculous being that's the name of the place). By the end of the meal I'd probably repeated that statement 5 times. The flavor combination with the additional pairing of hot and cold ingredients was fabulous. It danced on my palate, and I continued to reminisce throughout the rest of the day. Additionally, their use of sustainable, locally sourced ingredients free from hormones and antibiotics is outstanding. We need more establishments offering this caliber of quality. After writing this, I now feel like this sounds as if it is a fabricated review from an insider plant, but seriously, it was that good! read more

In a land of bad carbs and quick bites, thank you for creating high quality, healthy options. This place is so convenient, and incredibly delicious. I had the skinny bowl with chicken, and the surfer smoothie. I'm from out of town, and it's tough to be staying at a nearby hotel. Most of the food options are sit down restaurants, or premade house or Caesar salads. This weekend, I particularly didn't have too much time. Moreover, house and Caesar salads don't provide all necessary nutrients for the body. So I really appreciate this place being thoughtful in their menu, and being accessible for travelers. read more

Really liked the style and the food concept. Just strongly recommend getting there early for premium parking! After eating and the whole experience, spoke to the group and we all agreed the mood was somber in the place, the food was bland, it took a long time to get all the orders out from first to last, place gave you a feeling of being claustrophobic (only 4 groups of tables) so either you got intimate or like most people you just stand hovering over everyone waiting to take food out. For $10, the size was meager and nothing special I could not make at home... So not sure about our return. From the experience, the parking, the hovering, and the time variability between orders would prevent me from returning. I heard about SoFresh from a few people to I decided to give it a try for lunch one day. I ordered the SoFresh Signature Salad and added chicken. It consisted of a spring mix with goat cheese, avocado, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, shredded carrots, raisins, pistachios, fresh herb vinaigrette. The chicken was freshly grilled and all of the flavors of the salad meshed very well together, I actually didn't even use the dressing. The portion was perfect and rather large, I was definitely full after eating the entire salad. I like how the menu offers salads, bowls and wraps that way there is something for everyone. I have found this to be a great way to prepare for a night on the town. The staff here is patient and knowledgeable. I was having trouble deciding & explained my logic of health liquids, prior to not so healthy fluids. LMAO, she knew exactly what to whip me up! Some kale, banana, & I really don't know what else. Bottom line it was delicious & the next day, I was no worse for my night on the town. This is by no means supported by any scientific logic. It is female logic. So Fresh is SO good. It's my new addiction for a healthier lunch or dinner. Love the protein options (tofu and shrimp are both yummy), love the build-your-own bowl, and love that they prepare my food to order. It's like fresh food without the "I'm better than you even though I have no idea why" attitude. My only complaint is that the salmon is cooked fully and is farm raised. I ordered the "skinny" bowl and was honestly excited to give it a try. The smell was amazing and the presentation was excellent. However, the taste was sub-par. I ate less than half when my stomach dropped.... No sooner than the food hit my stomach it exited my body... violently... I was at my office, in white pants.... This was yesterday, and I'm still having issues today. I never want to hear the name "SoFresh" again, because what ever was in that bowl was not fresh. I had a portobello and goat cheese wrap with balsamic vinaigrette that blew my mind to pieces. I ordered a tea which was delicious, and then an employee told me I could pick fresh peppermint, spearmint, or lemon balm off of these beautiful planters inside for my tea... What!? So cool. Then, when I thought My brain had recovered, my wife bought us this dessert with yogurt, honey, walnuts, blueberries and goat cheese that was one of the top 3 best desserts I've ever had in my life. Bland and lacking. When you order cauliflower rice as a base it's expected to get more than a tablespoon or so of it. Tofu was tasteless and not cooked long enough (seemed to be cooked on only one side). Even with the dressing (which was good on its own) it tasted pretty boring. The food here is really quite good, but the prices are needlessly high. The cost of two bowls is about the same as going out for sushi (except sushi restaurants give you more for your money). One of the employees has no concept of equal exchange. He input the wrong order, which cost more, then I had to correct him and insist that he refund the difference. Go once for the food, then go to the grocery store and make it way better for 80% less. One star for healthy choices, one star for uniqueness. read more

I had been a regular for over 5 years, and if there's one thing that's consistent SO FRESH had consistently made efforts towards better customer experience may it be the changing the menu, interior, structure of the food , customer discounts etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes it helps them understand their customers better. Have been here a couple times and I have to say, the BBQ bowl is the best. It's such a great blend of flavors. The classic smoothie and the surfer smoothies are amazing as well. My wife also loves the stir fry. I would highly recommend it to anyone! The staff is nice and the place looks clean. The ambience is homey and trendy at the same time. The proportion was decent for a $10 meal. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my food. The only thing that stopped me from giving this place a five star was the sauce on my meal was more on the watery side, I didn't mind so much tho since it still tastes good. read more

This is my favorite SoFresh location, I love the friendly staff and they always remember my name! I recommend the Banana Date Smoothie & the Boca Fiesta with Avocado Green Goddess ... my go-to protein is always the Shrimp, so freaking good! I probably should branch out and try another one but it's just too delicious. My bowl is always hot and I love that the food is cooked to order and not sitting out buffet style before I arrive. OMG. My food was so fresh. After going to Gasparilla it was definitely far fresher than the spiral fries and funnel cake I ate. Probably even healthier, too. My pesto wrap was seriously amazing and satisfying.
