I love the overall feels of the atmosphere of Soho Chicken. My family came here for dinner and the servers were really nice. They were considerate to come often to ask if we needed more food or refilled for our water. Nice manners, overall. My family ordered the Hot Bibimbab, Beef Fried Rice, and the Bulgogi Cheese Fries. We ordered ramen, fries, and 2 different orders of chicken, one placed initially then the second one ordered 3 minutes later. Somehow, a cheese corn dish came out? We told her we didn't order that, and she turned around and stepped away. Then came back to us, same dish in hand, "Y'all did order it." with a sassy tone that sounded like a full on attitude, when we KNOW that's not we ordered. We just accepted it, in case it was really our mistake and she already gave us an attitude so we didn't wanna somehow make her more upset and bother her. We then later were still waiting on our chicken, which was ordered around 25 minutes ago. So we asked her where it was, and she said it'll be another ten minutes, but looked completely unsure about it. Eventually it came out. Additionally, she gave a table of 4, ONE cup of water. When we asked for more, it took awhile and when she got to us, she only dropped off a pitcher. We had no cups to pour the water into. Later we got the check, which we saw the chronological order of each dish that was ordered. Only to see the cheese corn ordered BEFORE the chicken, which she never corrected or communicated her mistake with us. It was upsetting to be snapped at for HER mistake which WE paid for especially without her even apologizing or simply addressing it. We were taking our time wrapping up everything, and she came up asking "are y'all done with the check." with the same attitude and tone as before, and just stared at us. I really like how crispy and light the chicken wings are. I always get the soy garlic flavor. They are still crispy after a 30 minute drive home. Rest assured that you will still be getting awesome wings if you get it to go. I wish they would give you more radishes. The pajun was not good and would not get it again. I got the seafood pajun and the only seafood on there was imitation crab. The dough was really chewy like they used sweet rice flour or tapioca flour. It was really oily and slightly undercooked. We ordered bulgogi fries (3/5), tteokbokki (2.5/5)and the large orders of 20 pieces wings which they only allow you to have 2 flavors for all the 20 wings! Also, the little amount of radish that they give the table for the large order of wings is ridiculous. we had to asked for refill of the radish 3x and each time, the waiter came back with less radish and more of the liquid. um...really?? My friend was about to flip the table! (Maybe she did in her mind but did not want to make a scene in public), the wings order alone is $25! and you can't provide enough radish for it? It's July 5th and I've been craving chicken wings. Had a ten piece this morning (soy garlic) the smell alone told me the taste would be just as exceptional. Crispy outside, juicy as chicken is when you treat it right. I'm on my way back now to pick up a large to split with the roommates. The most common complaint I see is you can't sauce split on a set of wings as much as you could at Buffalo Wild Wings. (#1stworldprobz). This shouldn't matter. Soho has 3 sauces (spicy, soy garlic, special) and they're all delicious- just pick one and run with it because after you have one wing you're going to keep coming back. read more

This was my first time going to Soho Chicken. The experience was mediocre by far. I ordered Seafood Panjan which is seafood pancake. There was BARELY any seafood located within it. I ate mostly the flour within the pancake. DO NOT ORDER! I also ordered shrimp fried rice. I repeat DO NOT ORDER! It was too humiliating for me to eat. The shrimps were the size of my nail bed, if I am being entirely accurate. It cost $10 for that and I wished I saved my money. I ordered the 10 spicy wings for $13.50. Last night was my first time visiting Soho Chicken - a Korean Fried Chicken place located in Bellaire Food Street. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming and lively. We tried 3 different kinds of wings: Soy Garlic, Special(Sweet&Sour), and Fried, and having no expectations I was very pleasantly surprised! They did not disappoint, and all 3 were good in their own ways! I don't usually frequent Korean wing places as the flavoring and sauce is often overpowering-too sweet for me, and after eating a few, I just don't want anymore. This is absolutely not the case for the wings at Soho chicken! The sweetness of the soy garlic was calibrated perfectly as were the taste, breading, and flavoring of the special wings! My wife normally has to drag me to Korean wing places, but I will be taking her(not dragging) here next time, as she's going to absolutely love it! The fried wings also come with a savory dipping sauce also, so you can dip or not dip to your heart's content. The wings take them about 15 minutes to make, so every order is freshly cooked and prepared and come out piping hot. The restaurant is very clean, and the service was great. We also met the owners Ken and Eric who were both super friendly, and they chatted with us for a while as well. If you like soju they have regular soju as well as a whole slew of different flavors to pick from(the green grape was pretty good). They also have a full bar as well as daily drink specials. This is a great place to hang out if you are up late and get the munchies as they are also open till 2AM on Friday and Saturday nights. In addition to Korean fried chicken, they have a lot of other foods as well such as Bibimbap, galbi, noodles, bulgogi cheese fries, and Dakgalbi(stir-fried chicken pot). I ordered here from Uber Eats and the wings came perfectly packaged. It was a large amount and the wings were super flavorful. Best yet they arrived CRISPY and I live somewhat far from their location. I've had other Korean Fried Chicken at Dak n Bop where the wings were so abnormally large that it smelled like meat no matter how long they fried it for. This was my second time having KFC and I was hesitant for that same reason that it would be too large. However the wings were the perfect size. We called Soho Chicken and all they said is they gave us 20 wings and couldn't help us. 4 stars for the nonstop Kpop music videos. Another star for the solid food. I had their chicken lunch special. The soy garlic and sweet chili fried chicken are delicious and the tempura vegetables were solid. I came in at the beginning of lunch before the rush and the service was attentive and good. Don't know how it is during the rush. Overall, it's a decent lunch for $11 and I'd rather go here than having underwhelming ramen somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend the place if you hate Kpop. Update again: came here again around 745pm and the place was legit empty so we were able to order and get our food fairly quickly. We ordered the bulgogi fries because we really enjoyed it last time and also ordered the 10pc soy wings. After my previous update I decided to give Soho another chance but I was really disappointed with their chicken yet again today. They were so small.. and the whole meal cost me about $26 which is definitely not worth it. If you see my first picture from when they had their soft opening, their wings do not look like that anymore. They are much much smaller. So you are not getting your moneys worth!! I thought I had found my new korean fried chicken place but I guess not. On top of that, for my bulgogi fries, I asked for spicy mayo and sriracha and the server told me they don't have any.. even though their fires have spicy mayo on top of it.. so I had to tell the server that when I had ordered these fries plenty of times before, they gave me sauce on the side.
