However, once you do get a spot, the loungers are super comfortable and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. They do have cabanas that you can reserve. One thing that they do very well is service. The staff is constantly circulating the pool deck, providing drinks and bites to guests. The service was noticeably excellent and attentive.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! First of all the decor of this restaurant is absolutely stunning. Everything is elegantly designed with little hispanic/rustic touches. There is an entire area that has shutters that open up the restaurant to the outside and they also have a fireplace which is my favorite. The chips and salsa are to die for. They are large tostada chips. The kitchen is open with glass walls and decorated to be appeasing to the eye while still looking like a kitchen. I had the black bean and sweet potato tacos and was pleasantly surprised. The pico de gallo is super spicy so watch out but I enjoyed it. The plates come with two tacos and your choice of two sides. I chose quinoa salad as my side and it was delicous it comes cold. Jess and Kenny are great bartenders! Top notch service and the margaritas were yummy. They muddle, shake, and strain all their margaritas over fresh ice so that you don't have to deal with chunks but still enjoy all the flavor. Plus they have a tequila selection that can't be beat. Last but not least the bar and restaurant is CLEAN, there is a lot to be said for that. My one and only complaint was that after asking management repeatedly for the CU buffs game to go on one television we were told no due to requests for the Michigan game, which we understood until every single person watching one tv left during the game and they still refused to change it saying no one cared about the game. We live in Colorado right? The group next to us actually left to go watch the CU game at the Cricket which we were intending to do. They changed it once the Michigan game was over and we asked again. I was just put off by the managers complete disregard to even attempt to accommodate our request. read more

Really had high expectations for this place. Was a disappointment from the start. Ordered peel n eat shrimp & was told we're all out. Fine, no biggie. My son ordered a Carne Asada burrito w/ no pico. It comes stuffed with pico & has none of the salsa verde he ordered (for $2.50 extra), just completely dry. They remake it, which was nice. Second burrito comes back still with no verde, but at least no pico this time #improvements I ordered Carne Asada tacos with a different salsa on them, cause I also don't like pico & i made that clear to my waitress when i ordered. Street tacos, please no pico! They come out with EXTRA pico on them, more than a normal taco, they were falling apart & completely missing the Diablo salsa I requested...oops. 3 small street tacos for $18, you expect to at least get what you ordered. I wouldn't have paid $9 for these particular tacos in hindsight. My other son ordered "spicy slaw," as a side, and there was nothing spicy about it, also bone dry. KFC's slaw is 100x better lol. My poor waitress was clearly upset with her kitchen and had to comp one of our entrees, she felt bad, and it was not her fault. I choked down the excessive pico on my tacos & just dealt with it, but Food was EXTREMELY overpriced for the quality received. Oh yeah, also, our waitress threw away the bill after she took my credit card and charged it, so we had nothing to sign & had to wait for a manager to reprint the ticket. Not a big deal, but par for the course. Don't waste ur time or money here, so many other good spots to dine at. read more

But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Shane. Shane was an absolute delight! From the moment he greeted us, he brought a level of warmth, energy, and professionalism that elevated the entire meal. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations that we absolutely loved (don't skip the tacos or the margaritas--chef's kiss!). What stood out most was Shane's genuine personality. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel like VIPs. Came in for their very first Taco Tuesday promotion last night and was very impressed!! This is the ONLY place in Cherry Creek with LIVE MUSIC and the solo acoustic guitarist was great. The food and drink specials were unbeatable and the quality was on point. Last night was the first of many Taco Tuesday's for my group of friends and family. SOL was able to accommodate our large group even in the thick of a busy night (they also accept reservations, wink wink). Okay now there are MANY things about this place that were incredibly unsatisfactory such as the wildly overpriced... everything, especially the 2 ounces of margarita you get for $14... but the thing that is utterly disgusting and completely unacceptable.... MICE! That's right. MICE. In the restaurant. Being in a Cherry Creek restaurant, that is the LAST thing I would expect. I did not want to cause any controversy in person, and I was already unhappy with my visit, so I chose not to say anything to an employee and I mostly wanted to leave as quick as possible. We reserved a private room at SOL for our company holiday party. The food, drinks, vibe, and atmosphere were awesome! The signature taco, the Vampiro, was great- most of our party ordered this signature item and enjoyed it. The margaritas were superb- both the house and the watermelon. Alyssa, our server, made everything AMAZING! She did a fabulous job and took excellent care of our party. I couldn't believe how he was able to concoct a drink I loved based based only on the minimal info I provided. I just moved to Colorado a couple months ago and have been coming to sol ever since. It has amazing vibes and the staff are amazing! I always feel like I'm around family while I'm there and the staff always gives amazing recommendations. There was an issue with my taco being cold but the manager Edther fixed it right away and did more than I could have asked to fix the problem. Just in town for business for 2 days and tried Sol Cocina because our concierge's recommended it. We had the frozen beers, guacamole with goat cheese, the grilled shrimp chile relleno and the kobe steak. The food was phenomenal, the decor is beautiful and rustic, and the service was outstanding.
