I was referred to Solar Nails by a friend. They got me right in for a full set. Nancy was AWESOME! She made me feel like I've been going there for years and she was really sweet. This place is a little hidden but it's definitely worth it!!! They offered a ton of different nail styles, gels polishes with the best sparkly options! (My fav). They also have waxing here and they're very affordable. I definitely recommend coming here, you won't be disappointed. Very clean, and relaxing place. My nails were done perfectly and I'm so excited to go next time to add some holiday glam. Extremely glad I went in & will be a regular client there now!!!

Great place to go if you like infections! It's sad because I really liked this place. I've been getting acrylics done for years and never before have I removed them to find my nails green and infected. This isn't right. Needless to say I won't be returning.

Felt rushed through my appt. My nails were not great. All the edges were roughy-I had to file then when I got home. And I'm pretty sure their dryer doesn't even blow. No Essie colors. Just opi and some other brands. The lady I had didn't talk the entire time- not even to ask what shape I wanted or if it looked ok. Even though I live around the corner I will not be back. In addition to bad service the music, decor and ambiance is pretty bad.

I CAN PAINT MY NAILS BETTER THAN THE LADY. And I'm not even a professional. She did the gel manicure too quickly, especially bc it's a light color and needs to be applied sparingly in layers so it's not patchy or lumpy. Which is what happened. Like look at this shit. And look at the air bubbles. It's like I have marshmallow nails. The only reason why this place is getting 2 stars is bc the male worker, Danny, did a decent job on my pedi and rectified this horrible manicure. The lady tried to tell him it's bc it's my real nails and they're lumpy. UH. NO. My nail beds aren't lumpy or uneven. Plus I see her lying down in a bed in the back employee room just chillin and this place needs to be cleaned.. tbh not coming back here. Thanks tho Danny

Please, save yourself and money from getting any service done here!!! There is no customer service or quality in the service you do receive!! My fingers are so sore from being cut up because I told the nail tech I didn't like the gel paint job she did. For one she caked the gel on so in turn made it extremely bumpy. And 2 they are so thick, I wouldn't even be able to pick up a book. She had a big attitude and it could just be me but I feel like when a customer expresses being displeased with something and then you immediately start talking to other workers in another language, your probably talking shit!! How you would let that work walk out of your salon is humiliating.

Finding a great nail salon is hard these days with there being so many now. Solar Nails in Henderson has amazing quality at prices you won't find elsewhere. Ran by a husband and wife - a great team. This is my third time coming and every time Nancy takes my polish off for a fill I'm blown away that there is absolutely NO LIFTING on my acrylics. And I am hard on them! The pedicures are phenomenal and hands down the best foot massage I've had in a pedicure. A hidden gem! The salon is peaceful and clean with lots of color options. Easy to get to and tons of parking available. read more

If I could give no stars I could. I went to Nancy twice for full set and pedicure only the 2nd time was enough after the fill. She was out... I really didn't like it but I dealt with it. Before going a 2nd time I made it PERFECTLY CLEAR what I am paying for. I spoke to the husband and he stated he will make sure I am satisfied before I leave if I go back. I went back a while later when it was time for a fill. My nails were jacked up once again. I refused to let her do the pedicure and when the husband got ready to do it, I showed him my nails and he didn't like it either. He started filing my nails to shape them evenly since Nancy shaped them all and what ever shape she chose and they were all supposed to be square. She made some nails round, some slanted and some slightly square. I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR GAMES SO SHE WAS OUT. I knew that I was never going back to her LAZY A**. After he shaped my nails he said, he will police them over after the pedicure, just relax. Well since I knew he could file and very well, explain to me why my toe nails for round some square and the issue continued. I am the type to ask for the file and do the shhhh myself. They both had a chance to SNATCH THE FILE BACK THAT THEY GAVE TO ME. That alone equals two strikes. And since he was careless as well and my money was paying for square nails. At the end, I should have had square nails, I am not joking. At the end, he did not repolish my nails and the pedicure was barely scrubbed, nail looked unfiled since they were different shapes and he did 3 coats on my toes which looked thick and CLUMPY. At the end while NANCY was putting on my flip flops she messed up a few toes, she had a nasty attitude when it was her fault for rushing and after she messed up my toes and got a nasty attitude, I DECIDED RIGHT THEN, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK, they didn't deserve it and I refused to let her repolish anything. I told her just forget, it's not going to be cute anyway. Just charge me so I can get out of here. She knew I wasn't going back! GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SKILLS GOES A LONG WAY. They must be new at this or as I stated, simply LAZY... I went home took that crappy polish off, filed my damn nails square since it aint that hard. And I used my polish and polished my nails two coats only. I allowed the polish to dry in between coats. Then used fast drying gloss clear coat. IT'S NOW TIME FOR A FILL AGAIN...I am now going somewhere else to get these nails off and get me a mani pedi and after that I will be doing my nails myself going forward. I went to my pediatrist and had him remove my ingrown toe names and remove calluses and dry skin so now I do not need some LAZY PEOPLE TO CHARGE ME FOR CRAPPY WORK. I am going today to Walmart to pick up a foot spa if I do not find one cheaper on amazon. My nails will be cute for free everyday from now on... PROBLEM SOLVED! read more

I've been getting my nails done here for over 5 years and I rarely write a review but I've got to speak up....This lady has become beyond "RUDE" I don't know if it's racism, covid19 ,family issues or whatever else that shouldn't have any impact on my service...but you can FEEL the tension when you walk in...and it doesn't get any better from there...I even left my final visit without getting my nails polished because I didn't want make a scene. I want to relax when I go to a salon and feel good about the experience and the results...At this place I don't get either..So needless to say this is not a place I would recommend to ANYONE... read more

I come here once a month to get my nails done. While Friday evenings and Saturdays are impossible to get in on, I've never had to wait longer then 30 minutes. It's tucked away at the end of a strip mall, but such a great find! read more

I love supporting local businesses!!! This is the cutest little nail salon owned by a very sweet couple. Although I didn't get my nails painted (just needed some gel paint removed), the husband took his time with my nails. You can't find genuine service like this anywhere else, promise! Since the business is small, I would recommend calling in to make a reservation. Definitely coming back for my next manicure! read more

Do not get your nails done here. They are not friendly at all. They rush to finish your nails. I got a gel manicure and she used the grinder, so much to remove the polish faster, that my nails all started breaking fromvbeing so weak. read more

I LOVE this place! I've been to several places all around town and this one beats them all! It's run by a very sweet husband & wife and who not only are very kind but also take pride in what they do. I have never once left disappointed. They take their time & do everything top notch! They also give great massages, offer wine, give out stamp card, the place is clean, updated massage & foot soaking chairs etc ... The list goes on! Check this place out! read more

Always nice to come when the shop is quiet! They take more time on my manicure when there isn't the feeling of being rushed! If there is a long wait, they always give me a time frame to return. Then try to get me in as close as possible to that time. I love the extra care they give when I come in with a broken nail. They get me right in and never charge. The best pedicure. I have tried numerous places in the area, and this is by far the best. It's a husband and wife duo, and the husband usually takes care of the pedicures. For those of us that prone to painful nail growth, do yourself a favor and come here for service. I do highly suggest trying to come during the day during the week, as I know evenings and weekends are busy. read more

Happened to come across this Salon by accident & I have to write a review! Danny & Nancy are two of the nicest people & did such a great job... especially my pedicure. The husband here is the best person to get a pedicure done by. The wife also does an okay job, although one time she didn't cure one of my toes so the gel came off and i had to go back, and she also gave my toe an infection one time. I haven't gotten my nails done here in very long but I get my toes done here every time I need to. Very rarely disappointed. read more

Did a walkin for a pedicure on a Sunday morning after originally choosing a different salon that said they were open on Yelp and on their door. They weren't . The gentleman who worked. On my feet and I mean the poor guy had to work on them was fantastic. The best leg massage ever! My toe tails look terrific! I will definitely return. read more

BAD BAD experience getting my nails done by the owner's wife at Solar nails on sunset. I was the only one there when i walked in and she looked annoyed to even do anything. I do nails myself and just wanted to get mine done instead of me doing them and that was a bad idea. I will post a pic of how horrible they were and definatly Not recommend anyone to go there. I asked for stilletto and got i dont know what the hell it was! She didnt do cuticle clean up she just put the tips on before filing the surface down she didnt buff anything and she couldnt shape to save her life...the only thing that looked right was the red color but it wasnt pretty enough to cover how HORRIBLE she made them..pics speak a thousand words! Had to pick a star to rate but i wouldnt give any stars if i could. read more

Stopped in here on my way home from work since it's fairly close to my house. Looks like any other nail salon walk in choose color so on & so fourth. There were only 3 people working but 1 customer in there . I needed pedicure (Gel) sat down processed . The gentleman seemed upset or having a bad day and was taking it out on my poor feet. By the time we were thru I could barely walk out my heels were cut up and super sore. If I could give no stars I would. Won't be returning ! read more

$20 for a pedicure! I moved here in October and tried a few places first. This places is closest to my house. Both my boyfriend and I love it. No more than a 10 min wait after 5pm before 5pm I'm able to sit right down. Great job and pay attention to detail. I had a bad hang nail and guy was able to get it out without hurting me too much. read more

You land on somebody that you think rises above the rest, only to be shuffled to someone else in their salon. So you'll never know nor get what you put in for. When I decided to book PMU with Mila, I was told that Mila, the salon owner, had no appointments for 3 1/2 months, well ok, because really good aestheticians should be busy. I was immediately pushed off to another aesthetician in the salon, Anastasia, saying that she was hired right away because she was that good, etc., etc. But she is not! My first appointment, as with everyone else's, they draw out your brow line for PMU and ask you to approve it. I told Anastasia that she literally lowered my brow arch by a third. Her answer was, "don't worry about it you'll have enough arch left." And just proceeded. Well, I didn't! And I was not happy. Here's where it gets really interesting, I reached out to Mila right after, after she asked me to give her a positive review on Google and Yelp, telling her that I can't do that because I wasn't happy. She rest assured me that she would make it right and laser could fix the PMU that affected my arch. And that she would personally make it right. That never happened, and here's why. I had my follow-up/touch-up appointment with Mila on a Saturday and I was really early so I was sitting in the parking lot having my lunch an hour or more before my appointment when I was contacted by her husband, their receptionist, telling me that she left so sick and had to cancel my appointment and they didn't know when they could rebook me because they didn't know how many days that she would be out. I never saw her leave. Little does she care either, that she posted herself working out in the gym at 6 o'clock the next morning on her social media I mean, come on?! It's not just my opinion, but she left the day of my appointment and canceled my appointment so she could do something before she left for a 15 day vacation in Mexico. Let's fast forward to trying to get rebooked with Mila. I sent a text to their main phone number, which is her cell, and was again told that they didn't know when I could reschedule with Mila so they put me back with Anastasia. Ugh!! Anastasia then drew the brow line "box" on my brows for the second time and created so-called, "wings." I literally got up this time and erased those lines myself and redirected her to where they actually needed to go to follow my natural brow line. Which is what I came in for in the first place. And, still not right. She kinda does what "she" wants. This is a $900 service with a $200 follow up/touchup service. It's really really really not worth it. Not that I can't afford it, but if you're gonna pay this kind of money, you should get what you pay for with who you want to pay to do it. Not just gets shuffled off to somebody else in the salon because you have a family and you want to take most of the Summer off. If you have a business, take on a business, run that business!! I don't know if the ink will ever stick, it didn't the first time around. Still waiting for the touchup to heal, but my hopes are not high! Cannot recommend this place at all! I have reached out to Mila's personal cell a few times since and she has yet to answer me, just crickets all day long! Just save yourself the time, the money and the aggravation! I don't think I'm the only one that is going to have to go to another salon to do a cleanup on this botched job! This is way less than one star treatment! These are people's faces, for petes sake! When somebody searches you out for "your" expertise and you agree to take on the job, personally take on the job! After all, we aren't letting just anybody touch them. That's why we do our research beforehand. Steering new clients to other aestheticians in your salon, claiming that they are just as good when they clearly are not! For what?!

I've been to a lot of nail salons, but this one is by far my favorite! Nancy and Danny, the owners, are absolutely amazing. They're so kind and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. They really take the time to listen to what you want, and their attention to detail is incredible. Not only are they super friendly, but they are so good at what they do! I've had manicures, pedicures, and even gel nails here, and every single time they turn out perfect. The results last way longer than anywhere else I've been, and they always make sure everything is done to perfection. What really sets this place apart though is the price. For the quality of service you get, it's super affordable. The pedicure service was extremely disappointing. The nail technician rushed through the entire appointment. He only cleaned under the nails on one foot, poured cuticle softener all over the top of my feet and lower legs, and did not properly remove the existing polish, buff my nails, or add anything to the water for a proper soak. The callus remover wasn't used during the service either. After the pedicure was essentially finished and the water had already been drained and lotion applied, I asked about the callus removal. He said he "forgot" and then attempted to do it afterward. Once I mentioned that I am a licensed cosmetologist, he insisted on doing the callus remover and refilled the tub, but there was still no proper soak. Because it was rushed, one foot was left noticeably rougher than the other. He then had to wash off the lotion to remove the callus treatment. The massage was also very rough and uncomfortable rather than relaxing. When I went to start the hard gel service, I asked the nail technician for the manager. She immediately asked why. When I explained that I wasn't happy with the pedicure, she responded with a sarcastic and dismissive attitude. She repeatedly said, "You're the nail tech for five years, you tell me what you want." I explained that I wanted the tip placed over my natural nails because I am growing them out and asked her not to cut them. She continued repeating that it would "look different in the back," even after I told her I was fine with that. She kept saying, "You're the nail tech, you should know," in a very antagonistic, unprofessional, and condescending tone. She also mentioned she has been a nail technician for 16 years but said she cannot do sculptured nails and only works with tips which to me is a failure if ur still stuck at the basics after almost 2 decades. I eventually spoke with the manager, who resolved the situation by adjusting the service and charging me only for a polish change, which I was fine with. However, the overall atmosphere was extremely unprofessional, and the experience was very unpleasant. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.

They didn't have a child's pedicure option. We both got All in One Pedicures. I sprung the extra $20 for mine to be gel. Hers is standard. It was $42 for the standard all in one, plus $5 for the nail art. $62 for the gel all in one, plus $5 for the nail art. The massage chairs were nice. They all wear gloves which makes the massage part less relaxing and I think my daughter may have not gotten the "extra massage". They have a stamp to save money but they don't give you a stamp unless you pay cash. They give one stamp for every $40 in cash. Next time I think I may just try the classic and not the all in one.

Worst customer service ever! I came here for an nail appointment with Crystal. I got lost trying to…read morefind this horrible place. They don't answer calls even if they are expecting you. Anyways, I get there and show Crystal a picture of what I want done and that was the extent of the "conversation" we had. If it wasn't my wedding day the next day, I would have walked out. Crystal had zero interest in talking or saying anything. Then I had a pedicure with a different girl, don't know her name as she never introduced herself. The only thing she asked was "How did you hear about this place?" with a annoyed tone of voice. She was bothered I was there! Wow! This has never happened before to me anywhere else. Once I told her the name of the person who recommended this place she made a face. Also, this place did not offer anything to drink in spite of the hot weather, and the salon was not cute. There were kids running around and causing mayhem, annoying as hell. They were the workers kids, very unprofessional. When the girl told me my total, I heard $77, I heard wrong, it was $107!!! That was $72 for the nails before tip! $35 for a pedicure is pricey but ok, but the nails??? Naaaah! Not worth it! Crystal did a sloppy job, one of the nails was extra long and uneven. The designs on my ring fingesr were sloppy. I say save your money for a different place! There are so many talented nail artists in Las Vegas, go somewhere else! Edit: So a follower of Crystal sent me a screenshot of her IG where she responds to my review...first of all, why not respond on the same platform? Second of all, if people go to nail appointments for quiet time then why have loud kids running around? Which is your narrative? pick one. Michelle felt the need to respond on her IG story about a complaint on Yelp...says a lot about her work ethic. Just accept that I had a truly bad experience and build on that!

The shop is so clean and with Covid going on they make you feel safe with all the PPE that is worn the dividers from others. These girls have always been bomb! I go to crystal and she SLAYS every time. I've seen a lot of work from each of them, beautiful!!! Never scared of a design never scared of a freestyle. Each one of them is so creative. Crystal blows my mind every time. They have a variety of different types of color acrylic to gel to nail tattoos, glitter, you name it!! Keep on slayin ladies.
