Very poor customer service!!! Walked in and was not greeted but rather pointed in the direction of what booth to sit at. The woman literally sat down grabbed my hand and began filing away. The job was very rushed and needless to say the woman was beyond rude. I'll never go back!! read more

recently moved to Nevada so I decided to give the nail shop around the corner from my house a try and we'll never go back. there's only two workers & they're extremely rude. initially I made appointments for 2 pedi / 2 manis but after coming inside and not being greeted, asked which pedicure package we'd like or even our name we decided to just get what they had already started on. the lady didn't even ask me what shape id like my toes and my gf's toes aren't even lol. They definitely lack basic customer service skills. $100 for 2 pedicures that we'll probably be paying for again tomorrow. DONT WASTE YOUR $$ read more

The only reason I go to this shop is because of their prices, which are lower than other places . They do a good job on my nails, but they are NOT friendly at all. If they were, they would do a lot bigger business. ! It's a very nice shop décor wise . read more

Solar Nails is a new nail salon by the Green Valley Library. It is nicely painted inside; you can tell a little thought went into the interior design. There are only a couple of those cheesy French manicure posters up as opposed to the splatters of generic nail prints you find in other places. But my biggest praise for this particular is the cute little girl who does the most amazing nail art. I went in on my lunch break to get a quick pedi, and I usually just go to chill in a massage chair and get my feet bubbly. This was not the case however. I wish I knew her name, but she was the tiniest thing, and she decided to go all out on my toes. We decided on "The Thrill of Brazil" red, and then she asked if I wanted a flower. I never get flowers or anything like that, but she convinced me. I don't know how, but she was a damn good salesman. So I thought I would get the typical dot-dot-daisy (you know what I mean, right?) but instead, I came out with a Georgia O'Keafe replica on my big toe. Ok, that's a bit of an overstatement, but honestly, why is this girl doing nails? She could be painting the next Renoir! Can only give 2 stars. They got us in pretty quickly which was great. We got there and was surprised that they were completely empty. With the good reviews online, I thought they would have a few people in there. Only one person doing the nails and we had a manicure and full set. They rushed through the manicure and I'd say took maybe 10 minutes then onto me for the full set. While this was good, I think it could've been better. The polish was ok to say the least. After I left, I noticed small bubbles in a few nails. I wasn't about to go back and have them redo it. Not one word was said from the lady who did my nails. Worst nail salon ever. I believe I was given regular polish sold as "gel." Within days the polish was peeling off. Criminal. I will say the man was VERY nice. He did my toes and offered me wine. My toe polish is still in tact. My hands were done by an unfriendly woman who clearly managed to give the poorest job possible. read more

The man does a nice job filing but the woman needs to practice her painting techniques. My nails were coated with too much gel polish which made them bubbly and her fix was to add glitter. Now I'm stuck with Barbie pink nails. Not a glitter fan at all. Had to deal with it because I had to be somewhere and didn't have time to get it fixed or change the color.
