I ate the leftovers for an entire week and was genuinely sad when they were gone. For our wedding dinner, we had a taco bar, and it was a dream. The chicken was freaking phenomenal, the food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we hoped for. Dawn also made our wedding dessert dreams come to life with an assortment of desserts that were just as beautiful as they were delicious. Beyond the food, their professionalism, presentation, and display were unlike anything I have ever seen. Everything looked amazing, ran smoothly, and felt so thoughtfully done. I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding weekend without them. The only downside is that the food was so good I felt morally obligated to ask Dawn and her team to move into our home, because I'm honestly not sure how I'm supposed to live without their cooking now. We are so grateful for them and would recommend Party In A Box Catering a million times over!

I notified CalJump of this cancellation more than 72 hours in advance and they still have yet to process my refund despite written confirmation that they had. I have tried contacting their business numerous times via call and text and have either been ignored or told that the manager would check on it. If you do purchase their services, be sure to pay with credit in the case you need to cancel your event. They will reverse the charges for you if CalJump does not honor their refund policy.

Wow, what a lifesaver! I can't express how grateful I am to Fernando and his team for making my son's 2nd birthday party an absolute hit. I reached out to Fernando at the very last minute, and to my surprise, he was not only accommodating but also went above and beyond to fulfill all of my requests. We opted for the supreme taco package, which included everything we could have wanted and more! We also added the guacamole, hot dogs, esquites, and aguas frescas. Plus, we decided to rent foldable chairs at the eleventh hour, and Fernando made it happen without a hitch. A special shoutout to Susi and Michael, who provided top-notch service throughout the event. The kids couldn't get enough of the quesadillas and esquites--those were definite crowd-pleasers! We have hired Solo Tacos for multiple parties, and they never disappoint! Not only is their food absolutely amazing in both taste and quality, but their service is always exceptional. Our guests rave about the tacos every single time -- there's always a line of people going back for seconds! We also added the churro option at one of our events, and I was so impressed. Fernando and his team were great! We needed to customize his menu to accommodate our group of 70 vegetarians and he did an excellent job with his menu creativity. He even made sure certain persons who had allergies were taken care of and their food was handled properly! He was punctual and took care of all the setup and serving. We didn't do a thing. He was extremely friendly and above all the food was delicious. The quesadillas were the best I've ever had! All our guests were very impressed and some even vowed to use him at their next event. We use Fernando and his team several times a month for various work events varying from smaller groups to 200 sized groups. His entire team is incredibly punctual, reliable, and provide a great menu. From the dozens of times I have booked him, I have yet to see him miss a single detail. It is relieving to have such a dependable vendor. I had ordered carne asada, carnitas, and pollo which came with salsas, guacamole, rice, beans, and chips for 70 people, with an add on of horchata and watermelon agua fresca. The delivery and setup went smoothly, and the amount of food was more than enough for the group. The amount of condiments given was generous as well. The downsides were the quality of the carnitas and pollo. The carnitas seemed dry and was chopped into large cubes. The pollo was shredded and mixed in with equal amounts of bell pepper and onion. The best meat was clearly the carne asada, which was completely gone by the end of the event while the other two remained. We gave away the leftovers because they were mediocre. The horchata was good, but the agua fresca was barely sweet and kind of lacking in flavor. I have sampled many taco bars at various events over the years. Overall, I was surprised that this company had a rating of 5 stars on both Yelp and Google. For a price of a little over $1200, it felt quite expensive and like we were mainly paying for the delivery and quantity of food. Friendly and prompt service, but somewhat disappointing product.

All the meats and salsas were delicious! My friends loved it! I loved it! I'll definitely be using them in the future! Should've gotten better photos but I was too busy enjoying the food!
