This restaurant is walking distance from my home. It truly is a hidden gem that I found when taking a walk in the area. I have been there about five times in last two months. I have tried several dishes and found chicken, salmon, and branzino very delicious and flavorful. The burger was little too sweet for my taste. I will ask for less jam if I try it next time. Mushroom risotto was good but I have tasted better ones. Apple butter cake was very yummy but again little too sweet for my taste. I love their donuts. They are so so good. My favorite things are their beet salad and shrimp spring rolls. I order them every time I'm there. The ambiance and service is great and I always find a spot there without any reservation. It was pretty empty on a Friday night at 7:30 pm. Our server was a very nice and welcoming gentleman. The kitchen is open style so you can see the chefs cooking. The restaurant style feels very open and has nice decor. Definitely a trendy restaurant with tall glass windows throughout. We were lucky enough to receive some complimentary tastings on a spoon from the chefs. The Cocktails are well made here and would be worth it. The cheese and charcuterie platter was a decent amount compared to what other places try to offer. For American food, it is leaning on the pricier side for the amount of food you get on the entrees. If we didn't order drinks and appetizers we would probably still be hungry with just an entree each (we had a party of 7). We noticed they added more potatoes to the Malbec Wagyu Short Rib dish from prior times, which is nice to know they're listening to feedback. First of all, the decor here is on point, and it's my style- modern, lots of neutral color, floral decor and painting decor are also on point( we did see some influencer taking photos in the patio) The drinks are so nicely presented, I had the mezcal drink and it was the blue color with the flowers, it had the smoky taste, wish it was a lit sweeter, a little too sour. Friend had the tequila drink with ginger syrup, it had a lot of citrus component. Brunch food started with the biscuits, it was too dry. Brunch burger was everything! I've been to Solstice for both brunch (summer) and dinner (winter), and it's definitely a place you go for vibes over food. The interior is very upscale and beautiful. It'd be a great place for an after work dinner or romantic date. It's probably also good for cocktails with friends if you're in the area. It's neat that the menu is seasonal. Although the presentation of the dishes were nice, the food was just okay. Unfortunately, there was nothing memorable or especially delicious about any of the dishes. Disappointing! My food didn't taste good at all. I was actually looking forward to dine here but was shocked with low quality food. I ordered a trout with mash potatoes. Trout was NOT grilled on the inside and I specifically asked the waiter if it will be grilled, he said yes. Why to grill the the skin and not the fish itself??? Luckily, I asked to have the sauce on the side, it was sour and didn't blend with the fish at all! The mash potatoes tasted bad like it had an old olive oil in it. Yukkk... Have you ever been to a True Food Kitchen? The experience is very much like that, except I would argue it's a little higher-end. In my opinion, it might even be better than True Food Kitchen because Solstice seems to have a lot more variety in their food and drink selection (it is a seasonal menu!). I went on a first date here, and I will say it's a good experience I wouldn't mind repeating. Service was attentive as well and the server assigned to our table was attentive. Parking is easy to find; there's a multi-level parking garage next door to the adjoining restaurant so it's literally a couple steps away. Parking ticket can be validated inside the restaurant. I ordered the Braised Wagyu Pappardelle. 9/10. It's good (I appreciate that there's a lot of meat) and the noodles were cooked perfectly, but I would perhaps like a wee bit more salt. It's a generous portion size so I ended up taking the leftovers home. The next day, I drizzled a tiny bit of soy sauce into it to add that bit of salt, and it was perfect. The Braised Wagyu Short Ribs is the star of the show. I only took a tiny bite of it because it was my date's dish, but the tiny bit I tasted with the meat, sauce, and mashed potato/ root vegetable (?) was immensely flavorful. Would highly recommend and order again. Date also ordered the beet salad. I didn't taste it but I presume it's good and refreshing. read more

After a hike through Shady canyon, boy was I hungry!! Wanted to find some where relaxing to eat for lunch and was lucky to stumble upon this gem. The atmosphere brings me back to NorCal, Sonoma vibe. Very open and airy. Our waitress was absolutely amazing as well, our glasses were never empty, very attentive to say the least. If you like fries, you better run to this place because they make hand cut fries fresh. The pork belly sandwich was delicious. The only complaint about the crab and shrimp roll was the lack of amount of crab, but none the less it was fresh with soft buttery bread.
