This is one of my favorite go-to spot!! Thfood is always great! The humans are definitely what make it though!! Brought my brother from out of town, Itza, Pow, and Sabrina (sorry if i spelt your names wrong) make sure we had a memorable time!! Anything that you try will be delicious. I also love getting Thai tea to have the next day. During Pride this year, they opened up the Patio for the parade and that was great too!! TAKE MY MONEY!!! 10/10 do recommend!!

Wow!! The Thai food here puts any other Thai places to shame! The flavors are truly incredible and thoughtful. And the plate presentation made it top notch. The sake is very reasonable pricing too, which was a big "tick" for me. - The Khao Soi was incredible and the coconut shrimp was a perfect add on - Crab wontons were fire - Thai fried rice was bold and approachable Service was attentive, no complaints Ambience was immaculate, in my opinion. Perfect lighting. Comfy booths. Place to hang your coat. Adorable bar with plenty of seating Definitely glad I had a reservation as this place got packed on a weeknight. The very next day, I told my husband we should go back that evening. Now that's high praise.

Really excellent Thai restaurant Took my friends out for a birthday dinner and was blown away by the food and the vibe (its a beautiful restaurant) Food is probably some of the best Thai food in Denver. Each dish had unique flavors. I would recommend at least medium heat to get the full flavor Appetizers were good but small portions Thoughtful staff that surprised us with a birthday cheesecake slice with sparkler Will be back Highly recommend

We had such a great experience at Som Dee Thai Kitchen & Bar in Denver! We ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu, and they were happy to make it vegan for us. Our waitress really was informed and she was super clear about what could and couldn't be made vegan, and there were plenty of vegetarian options too. My friend absolutely loved her dish. I got the Khao Soi with crispy chicken and wow... it was incredible. The curry was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect kick without being too much (honestly, I could've gone Thai hot). The chicken was cooked perfectly and had great texture. Easily one of the best dishes I had in Denver. For an appetizer, definitely get the vegetable dumplings. They were fantastic and the dipping sauce made them even better. They happened to be celebrating their one-year anniversary the weekend we visited, and the space is gorgeous -- warm lighting, beautiful decor, and a really fun atmosphere. We arrived around 5 and by the time we left, the place was filling up fast. Highly recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back!

Had the crispy wings, a Thai tea, and the khoa soi. Good food all around! I really liked my meal and it was well priced, only a few dollars more than take out would be. The Thai tea was such an incredible standout! Really delicious! And it's a beautiful restaurant too. Service was a little so-so, but there were a couple of weird situations that came up which may have impacted that, so overlooking it. I especially appreciated that the noodles were properly cooked and that both the wings and the khoa soi's chicken were very crispy! J.Ja

What a great find I Denver. Som Dee Thai Kitchen has a soothing vibe, relaxing atmosphere and loyal following in Denver. We made reservations and took several people. Thai food is always better with more friends as it means one must share. The decor is tranquil and very inviting, adding to the vibe. We started with the roti and curry, delicious. The richness of the curry with the buttery roti was perfect. The fresh shrimp jungle jam was mind blowing with flat rice noodles wrapped in red onions, carrots, basil, mint, chili oil and fried shallots. The order was accompanied with perfectly cooked shrimp. The taste was spicy and unusual, but one could not stop eating the fresh and spicey burn. Over-the-top and must try! The pad Thai with chicken was good but not even close to the flavor of our remaining dishes. The drunken noodle was mind-blowing with big, bold flavors but not to salty. Great job! The Massaman curry was uncious, savory and very rich. Glad we switched to try a different curry dish and now a must try. Our final dish was the Ka Pow or spicey basil with beef and a fried egg. Again, exceptional and a great choice. Our dinning here was a perfect evening; old friends and great food. Thank you Som Dee Thai Kitchen for helping us cap off a truly great weekend. Our only issue is getting back to Denver to try more delicious entrees on the menu. To the kitchen staff, hands down GREAT THAI FOOD. If love great food, challenging your taste buds and good service, go visit Som Dee Thaii Kitchen, you won't be disappointed.

My sister used to live a block from here and I'm so bummed that she moved before it opened. This place has an incredible menu and we didn't order one thing that wasn't amazing. The service was great and the vibes inside are were awesome as well! The music was loud enough that you didn't hear the people next to you talk too much but we could all hear each other pretty easily. There were good weekend date night vibes but they were also a handful of pretty big groups that they fit into the space well. We started it off by ordering cocktails, and I ordered a gin cocktail that looks blue on the menu and I can't remember the name of it, but it was delicious. They mentioned that it's one of their less sweet cocktails, and it was kind of like a fruity gin and tonic. Then I ordered the alone together and asked for it slightly less sweet than usual . It was delicious so much stronger than the last cocktail. It also came with edible glitter, which was a fun surprise! Our table split veggie potstickers, pork, eggrolls, and chicken satay for appetizer. All of them were delicious, but I think the standouts for me were the potstickers and then the satay because the sauce was fireeee. For dinner I split medium spice khao soi with crispy chicken and medium pad see ew with my dad. They are such different flavors, but I loved them both. Pad see ew is my usual go-to, but I actually think that the khao soi convinced me otherwise - it was my overall fav . I also ate my mom's pad Thai as leftovers - it was pretty good as well, but I wasn't as impressed as I was with the flavors in the other two dishes. For dessert, we ordered the coconut cream, which was vanilla ice cream, cream, and coconut rice. I absolutely loved the blend of the two flavors together as well as the differing temperatures of the warm, sticky rice and a cold ice cream. Not only was I impressed with the food, the vibes, and the service, but the presentation of all the dishes was also top notch. Now that I know that the owner of Som Dee also has another restaurant in Edgewater, I will be looking forward to trying that base on my experience here!

Had a great lunch the other afternoon at Som Dee Thai in the City Park West neighborhood - the food is delicious with all the standards one would expect at a Thai restaurant plus even a few more 'unique' dishes. You can always request Prik Nam Pla sauce to further heat-up your selections. The service was attentive, fast, & friendly; and the atmosphere is upscale but not over-the-top. One drawback: as mentioned by others, for the prices paid, the portions are on the small side :(

Hands down the best Thai place I have been too. My boyfriend and I love trying new places, especially Thai, and we like it hot! Som Dee did not disappoint! From the charming interior to the fast and friendly service and lastly the exceptional food and drink, Som Dee has it all. It was clean and quiet inside on Monday night. Highly recommend the bay and bloom drink and the khao soi! Large entrees, great flavor, good spice, and I can't rave enough about the GF options. The Khao Soi was creamy, great spice level (I got hot and stilled added chili oil), fresh, lots of protein. I added my boyfriend's Thai basil from his drunken noodle and that also enhanced the flavor. I can't wait to come back and try all the other food and drink options!

This is an awesome Thai restaurant with a sleek and modern vibe. My friend was visiting from California and we decided to check out Som Dee. She ordered some Pad Thai, I ordered the Green Curry, and my cousin ordered the Chicken Larb. Our food was delicious! The servers were super nice and we had a great experience. Would highly recommend!

Wry attractive inside decor and to the right is the other side of the bar that is outdoor seats + some tables
    Pamela M.

This is a really pretty place on 17th street in the North-ish Cap Hill area and the key thing is the ambiance inside. It would be good for a date night! Or, if you want to enjoy the weather outside, they do have some bar seating that is still outside along with a few tables. The food wasn't perfect for me, but I can't find any pad thai in the Denver area that is *not* red and sweet. In many other places and in the midwest the pad thai is much better, it is not sweet at all, yellowish in color, and savory. That's how I like it and if anyone knows where to get this good stuff, please enlighten me!!! The spice level was very high! I can't remember which way they did it here, if I ordered a "medium" or a 2-3 heat level, but I never go more than that and that pad thai was SPICY! A tad too much for me. So, I'd go lighter and you can always ask for some hot seasoning on the side to control it better. The lunch combo came with a side, as well, I went for the veggie pot stickers. I don't normally do dessert, but I really like mango a lot so I wanted to try it here. The mango mousse was very good, I'd only edit it by *not* pouring the sugar liquid over the top, it didn't need it and made it less good, and more mint would be a nice addition, it really paired well with the mango and light sweetness. The menu underwhelms me a little bit, mostly the standard stuff, so I hope they revisit it a bit and get a little more unique with it. I'll have to check out their curry and tom yum, though I prefer tom kha a bit more because I love coconut milk. And these are all winter foods, not something I typically eat in warm weather.

    Gluten free chicken pad Thai

I could rave on and on about how amazing this Thai restaurant is! The gluten free chicken pad Thai was delicious. I need to come back to try more as the ambiance was very moody and cozy. Our server was so kind and attentive to what my friends and I needed. The sake was a hit with my friends and I as well!

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Just depends on the night.
