Love the food but they always take too damn long for the smallest orders waited over 45 MINUTES just to get 2 burgers and a hot dog. That's on any day i've went and tried them over and over and still always take so long just for me ordering three things not even for a whole family could imagine families waiting on their food for even longer & the ambiance is alright obviously not the best area but it's just what's close. Why is it that the quality of food at the Sonic on Ayers in Corpus Christi is inferior to the one on Staples and the one on Weber ? I usually order the same items. That is the popcorn chicken and a diet cherry limeade. The popcorn chicken is hit and miss on Ayers and the Diet Cherry Limeade on Ayers includes day old limes and no cherry. Just because we are in the barrio does not mean we deserve shoddy food. The service is always good though! read more

This is my favorite Sonic in Corpus. I go past two Sonics to go to this one. In the last year of bi-weekly visits I have never gotten a wrong order. The people here are really friendly. They take the time to do things right and do it with a smile. I get the Number One meal quite often and sometimes have to just eat my burger on the way home because it's just that good. If you like Sonic food or drinks this is the Sonic to give your business too. They make the best Lime Slushes at this location. I don't get how it can taste so different here or how their burgers are better than the other Sonics in town!? Maybe it's the love and pride they put into every order. read more

I go to this sonic all the time and sometimes I have good service and sometimes I don't but today had to be the worst service I ever had there as I order through the drive thru I could hardly order the lady kept on over talking me couldn't even say what I wanted then when I got up the the window I see all the employees just playing around and the lady at the window didn't even repeat my order just told me the total when I got my drink it was wrong and when I got home my whole order was wrong and cold I tried calling but the phone was busy and couldn't get through to talk to anyone was very disappointed with them read more

This place does not even deserve 1 star! Here goes, cheese won't melt on the burger because the burger is not even warm. Ordered the tater tots crispy so that maybe we would get fresh ones. Instead I get attitude about the "crispy" part and two orders of old, soggy tater tots. No ice in the drinks. I drove 2 miles back to work and no ice when I got back. My initial wait time was 5 minutes, then I got the notification that my order was going to be delivered. I waited another 10 minutes then nothing. I clicked the red button to ask about my order just for them to tell me they gave my order to the wrong person and they would make my order fresh. I waited another 15 minutes before finally getting out of my car. I asked to speak to a manager and when she approached me she was very hostile and rude and told me "I don't have time to listen to your complaint, just give me the name." I told her that she did not need to be rude to me and I gave her my name. She walked in looked at 2 receipts came back out and told me that she didn't have a recipe for me so that was no longer her problem, then walked away from me. I walked back to my car extremely upset and called the sonic headquarters to file a complaint. When I got back to my car, my order had miraculously been delivered. I threw the stuff away, my mozzarella sticks were old and nasty and my slushies were all melted. I would not recommend this location to anyone!! Very dissatisfied, I wish I could give no stars. I went there last night for a late snack and ordered two slushes and one order of mozzarella sticks (6piece). This was going to be for my boyfriend and I. The slushes like always came out quick but i had gotten the cherry slushy and i didn't get a cherry and it was to the consistency of water. The sticks took 15+ minutes to come out.
