Took 15 minutes and there was nobody else there. Slow, didn't get condiments and didn't get a straw.

I placed an order online and was waiting for 30 minutes to an hour. Many people went through the drive-through and got their food before us!

I would give a score of .5 if possible. We waited 25 minutes for 2 drinks and then were told to please go through the drive thru due to short staffing. Now that we're in the drive thru, we're still waiting. read more

Today I arrived at 4:40pm to find two unoccupied cars NOT in the drive through or a stall, so I assume they were employee cars. The app said they weren't taking app orders so I went through the drive through to order ONE Coke and asked to redeem my half price drink reward. The employee said I could not and they weren't taking app orders due to low staff. There were NO CUSTOMERS ON THE PROPERTY. Sonic restaurants in other towns are great, but this one often closes early without notification (8:15pm) and would rather not make a sale even when it's one item and there are no other customers. We love visiting Fredericksburg to shop and explore. After visiting a couple of shops, we pulled into the Sonic in Fredericksburg and grabbed soft drinks and burgers. The service was excellent. The premises were clean with fresh flowers in pots. Then we drove over to Kerrville for more sightseeing. After we finished, we pulled into this Sonic. It was dirty. The staff was unprofessional. It took 17 minutes to get our Route 44 drinks. The parking lot needed cleaning. Some of the stalls didn't have menus, or the menus were lying on the ground. On our way out of town, we passed by the other Kerrville Sonic. It looked just as bad as this one. Like this one, there were only two cars on the premises. We've been to Sonics all over the country. This was the saddest experience we've ever had at a Sonic. We love visiting the Hill Country, but will avoid the two Kerrville Sonics like the plague. read more

The food is atrocious, most of the stalls are broken or crashed into, corn dogs are stale, 80% of the time they aren't accepting orders on the mobile app. The drinks are ok I guess. Whoever came up with the idea for grillos pickle slush needs to be fired! read more

Incredibly slow. Difficult to read the menu screen and then couldn't figure out if my payment went through at all, once or five times. Was told there is an issue with the headphone and to pull up to the window to place an order. It would be smart and courteous to your customers, to place a sign stating this. Should had read the reviews before I bought food from this establishment. My daughter found a hair in her chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich wasn't good. My chicken fingers were not good. I simply wanted an order of onion rings on my way home from work and Sonic was right there . I should have known I would be disappointed when the disembodied voice at the other end of the drive-thru intercom simply ask me " what would you like? Quotation I paid four and a half dollars for an order of dried chewing onion rings with no napkin no salt no ketchup and no receipt in the bag . I even tipped the kid a buck and a half. What sloppy service , what sloppy food , what a complete disregard for a good customer experience. Covid or no covid your restaurant sucks and your help needs to learn how to provide good customer service and a quality product I will never eat from a Sonic Drive-In ever again thanks to your crappy restaurant. I ordered a #1 burger with no cheese no mayo no catsup and large tea. I got a burger with nothing but cheese and mustard and meat. I sat out at one of their tables. I watched 3 cars in the drive thru drive away because they weren't getting service. One family ordered 3 vanilla cones. When they finally got them, roughly 10 minutes later, the girl handed them 3 melting cones in a beautiful car with no napkins. The lady asked if she had any napkins and the girl said..."no...would you like me to go in and get you some? Visiting from Austin and have never seen anything like this. Tragic! read more

My second one star review in a week. I must be becoming a curmudgeon. The service at this unit has really declined, but my experience on Sunday was the worst. I drove up at 2:00 pm and ordered a Number 7 with a Route 44 Diet Limeade. There was one car in front of me at the window. After 10 minutes in line, I looked in the rearview mirror and saw 5 cars. Over the 15 minutes I was in line, I saw two bags of food handed to the driver of the car in front of me which were promptly returned by the driver, an employee walk by to deliver a drink to the car behind me and an employee walk to each car and ask if they had ordered 4 cups of ice. After 15 minutes, I was fed up and left without my food. If such an experience was limited to one store, I would be fine, but it is not. The problems are not at the store level, it is a systemic problem at the regional level. I am not sure how you can fix that. Currently, I have given up visiting Sonic. That is too bad because to my family, it is not a road trip unless we have a Route 44 Diet Limeade. I guess that means I won't be traveling by car for a long, long time. read more
