Happy to add to the bad star review for this Sonic. Sure wish the Conway's still owned local locations. Heads would roll quick. GF and I were shopping in the area; she's a diabetic and her sugar started to run low. Pulled out my phone and used the Sonic app to order drinks. Can also complain that the app does not offer a half and half tea option which is badly needed. Pay online only a few blocks from the location, roll in for our order. And, the wait began. 25 minutes in fact for 2 drinks. Customers were angry in every stall. Others rolled in and had their food instantly while we still waited and begged for our order to the red button. I think her name was Victoria; the hero worker as she was the ONLY carhop. She told us that even the employees working didn't actually work there? Perhaps loaned out from another location? Sonic also needs a refund button on the app so if you experience issues prior to receiving your order you can walk away with your dinero back. Worst crew on duty last night. My kiddo and I so excited to get some slushes after practice and first person taking our order just kept saying "what else" over and over. He said it every time I took a breath. Me: "I'd like a lemonade slush" "what else?" "with cherry" "what else", "Please make that large", "what else".. it got obnoxious after the 20th time. Then after paying and waiting a few mins. We got a notification on the screen that CARTER was on his way with our order. My kiddo started counting the seconds (sweet thing) and they never came. Then I saw people coming and going with their order. Even saw some teenagers that walked up, they may not have placed an oder unless they did it online before showing up and they said hi to their friend Carter and Carter came out periodically bringing them drinks every time he went to take an order to another car. Seemed odd that their order would come out bit by bit. Then I buzzed them again and asked about our order and a new person answered, a young lady, and said our order would be out shortly. Waited maybe another 20 mins, watching people come and go with their order, so then I buzzed them again and this time no answer and a few mins later, Carter came out with the drinks. He was rude. He didn't technically say anything rude but he dropped off the drinks with disdain, body language was like "ugh, get out of here." Since I had waited there 30 mins since being notified of delivery, I asked why it took so long, he said "we're busy", rolled his eyes, and meandered away... not in any rush. Ordered Large Tots and Rt44 drink (same thing I have been ordering weekly). I checked in and it came up on the screen as being "in the kitchen". It disappeared 5 minutes later and i had to call twice before my order came out (the first call, she said "it'll be right out" but had to call again 10 minute later). When I did get it, the tots were barely warm (like they had been sitting all that time). The server remade them again. It took over 20 minutes for Tots and Drink. Unacceptable. I live by this place and have given it many opportunities to just do stuff right and on time. Even simple orders take waaaayyyyy too long. It's a fast food place and takes long to get your food then if you went to a real restaurant. Then the employees are always mad and VERY unhappy towards customers & to top it off you get diarrhea from eating the food. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN.
