Poor service!!!! I visited this specific Sonic over the Summer and put in my order. After waiting over 40 minutes for the items that my family and I ordered, I stopped on of the servers and asked about the order. About 10 minutes later someone else came out and asked what we ordered, apologized for the delay and said she would bring it right out. After another 25 minutes, I hit the button and asked about the order and was told that they didn't see an order. We decided to leave and never come back since the manager was no help either. First time I've been back since they reopened. The previous owner was shutdown for not paying his taxes. I wasn't expecting much tonight, but was pleasantly surprised. It's pretty busy and the drive thru line is full. I drove in and pushed the red button. Didn't have to wait too long and the food showed up even faster. I've had better hot dogs at a gas station. Me and my bf ordered hot dogs, fries, and onion rings and all of the food was terrible. The hot dogs were cold and tasted as though they had been put in the microwave for ten seconds before being served. I got the pretzel bun and it was hard and dry. Terrible. Fries were really bad, soggy, cold, and no salt at all. Same with onion rings. I will never eat at sonic again and now I understand why they're all closing down. read more

The service was terrible. I was called a liar after showing them my receipt providing they over charged me by 3.00. Then my burger was so raw it was unsafe to eat. Really don't get what you pay for in my opinion. Only thing worth getting are the shakes but the people working there never seem to be able to put the caps on all the way and they have handed me super sticky cups with the drink spilling out the sides. We live in Sacramento and was in Roseville running errands. The family was so excited to see a Sonics. Had stopped at one while on vacation this summer and the food was so good. Worst food. Not only was the order wrong, it was cold and just plain disgusting. Never have had a bad hamburger some are better than others but there're all edible until our visit there. How can you ruin a hamburger??? Well they are real good at it at this place. Maybe 1 person gets a bad meal but all 5 of us? Should have know when we ordered onion rings and they said they were out. Shows bad management who doesn't require any effort into there employees. The service was even bad, no condiments, napkins, straws had to ask for everything and wait to get it. Which probably is why everything was cold. Pass this place up just go to McDonalds and have same ole same ole. Which is much better in this case. Would give it no stars if possible. I had the worst service tonight :( i'm very disappointed in the quality of my food and the service! I came through and got a couple items and they forgot two of my food items! I've been to this Sonic multiple times with ok and bad experiences. The three most recent have been bad: all at night around 11:45p before they close at midnight. Now i realize it's almost closing time but each time they claim they don't have hot dogs (The steamer seems to be not working). I can get corn dogs though!- the fryer MUST be working. Went there today and waited over 40 minutes for our lunch. When we did receive it there was no napkins, I asked the waitress for some napkins and she said they ran out. She told the manager that she would go get some and the manager said no that the general manager was bringing some at 3. VERY Unsanitary. I used stop here in the morning at 8:30 to get a drink before going to work and one morning I drove up to get my drink and it said they didn't open until 9am. If I could give this Sonic a zero I would. They have awful service, they're slow and they're just all around a terrible place to go. On a number of occasions they've forgotten items in my orders and they don't seem care! There never seems to be a manager anywhere to keep these kids in check. I went there today against my better judgement and waited in the drive thru for approx 15 minutes and then because they forgot something in my order I sat at one of their drive up parking spots for another 20 minutes. No one ever brought the missing item out to my car after I explained to the girl that they'd forgotten it. My brother got out of the car and found someone and only then did they offer to refund our money and finally get the missing item. This isn't the first time they have messed up and yes we're all human, but the fact is the people that work at this particular Sonic have terrible customer service and that is there job, they should at least pretend to care. read more

I only give it 1 star because I have to. Me and my husband WILL NOT be back!!! We strolled in at 11:40pm due to the fact my husband has night shift. So i ordered my husband food which was a #4 bbq bacon burger (I think) with no produce. Even to take the onion ring off. It came and had onions on it. So we sent it back no big deal. However we waited for 30 minutes for them to remake order. When it didn't come I pushed the button the women rudely said they were closed and would be open again at 8am. Pushed the button again and she shut the whole screen off!!! Came back the next day and they called me a liar and didn't give me my money back. I love Sonic, but avoid this location at all costs. We have given it multiple chances, and somehow they never fail to screw up our order, the employees are rude and incompetent, and the wait times are outrageous. We went this afternoon and ordered 2 drinks in the drive in stall. Over 30 minutes later, our drinks still had not arrived, and we watched them deliver food to other people who came long after we did. We ended up giving up and leaving. We decided to go back in the evening when it was less busy and tried the drive through. Again, we had a 30 minute wait. When we got to the window they handed us the first drink, which looked like it had been made 30 minutes prior and was now a melted mess. We asked if they could replace it. Then they gave us the other drink, which was wrong. We sent that back. After waiting another 10 minutes, they gave us our new drinks, one of which tasted funky and we suspect one of the employees tampered with it. The employees were rude and gave no apologies for the wait or inaccurate order. We will not be going back to this Sonic. This place should be shut down, in my opinion. read more
