Honestly I feel so bad for these employees they are severely understaffed and trying their best trying to take orders and get them out the door. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I was waiting in the drive thru because they told us the other lanes weren't open. The line was long but eventually I get to the speaker to place my order and no one asks to take my order and no one responds so I'm thinking there might be something wrong with it since we had a horrible storm yesterday in Houston so we might just order at the window. I get to the window and one of the workers reads out an order to me and asks if it's correct and I told her my order wasn't taken. Then the manager with the grown out highlights and piercing on his face tells me I need to get back in line and he won't take my order at the window. I just waited in that long line I was not about to go all the way to the back for something that wasn't my mistake. I told him I wasn't going to do that and told him it wasn't my fault my order wasn't taken and he said well I probably wasn't waiting patiently. I only moved up when the car infront of me moved up because I didn't see them ordering either. He told me if I wasn't going to move he would call the cops, eventually I just left but I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this location especially with people like that working there. This locations is awful. Customer service is poor, they rarely get your order right, and they're slow. This is based on several trips. Every once in a while one of my kids wants sonic, and we're near here and I think "hey it can't be that bad, maybe they've improved?" And every time I'm wrong. I've had a drink spilled on me and my car here, wrong orders, and even as I type this message I'm sitting in my car waiting 20 minutes waiting on an order for two people. I reached out to the manager once who said he would give me a coupon, or something in return for a couple of poor experiences. I followed up twice, and nothing every came. I've tried this Sonic 4 times over the span of the last 2 years, and every time I regret it. I end up driving double the time to get my kids drinks. This sonic has some real issues. The food and service has changed. When you go through the drive through is takes way to long to get your food. I know they are cooking it to your order specifically. However, the wait is long and slow. As for the hamburgers I remember them as good back in the day. But, the hamburgers don't taste like the did back then. It must be the buns they are using. The buns are hard, dryer, and taste sweeter than usual. This is why I'm giving them a 1 star. They need to go back to the buns they used in the past and get the food out quicker before I go there again. read more

On the first visit an employee apologized for being short staffed. It was a long wait but the food was good.
