Since I haven't really tried the food here I can only give it 3 stars for now. I come here whenever I need a refreshing drink or light snack. My favorites are the sparkling strawberry lemonade and chili cheese tots. The drink prices are very reasonable and if you go during happy hour they are half off. I've tried their limades, fruit chillers and creamy drinks. They are all good. The drinks live up to their hype- annnnd if you complete their survey on the receipt you can get a free route 44oz drink for free during your next visit. I like their chili cheese tots a lot but don't think you get enough in an order. They could definitely give a little more for the price you pay. It took so long for them to answer the intercom we thought it was broken. (There were barely any cars there btw, so it shouldn't of taken so long.) Took twice as long to get our food, which was bleh. This location is alright, but I've definitely had better service at the Sonics out of state; however, this place is better than the one in American Canyon. The service here is OK, but I don't like how some of the staff are rude to you while taking your order. Last time I was there with my parents and the guy taking our order was being very rude to my Dad. Freakin' asshole. I did not have a slush here, but this appears to be the only really worthwhile menu item at Sonic. My kids were hungry for a snack after their ice skating, so I decided to drive-thru since it is by the freeway. I ordered just 2 corn dogs and fries, yet we waited more than 15 minutes to get my order. I didnt check the bag and drove out. While on the freeway, my kids complained because their corn dogs were burnt, to the point that its almost no longer edible. Wow!!! Every time I pass by Vacaville, I always have to make a stop here. I mean, who wouldn't considering what they have on their menu. From chilli cheese fries/hot dogs, corn dogs, wings, fries, tater tots, a ton of slushies, milk shakes, hamburgers, etc... can we say YUM?! reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they've gotten my order wrong a few times and wouldn't let you go in to use the bathroom once the front door is locked but the place is still open. My first time ever to eat at Sonic!! Did the drive in thing which I thought was a cute originally idea along with the girl and her skates. Ordered the Sonic Cheeseburger for $3.79 and for those of you watching your calorie intake it's about 710-780 calories! ...I also ordered the Lemon Pie Shake for $2.79 and that is about 550-840 calories! Anyhow, I wanted sooo bad to be impressed by their burger buuut I have to give them a thumbs down ..the bun was cold but the patty was warm. I wasn't sure if they warm the bun but I guess they do because I saw the grill marks. It was also tasteless. Come here for the drinks and some times blasts for the kids. Don't expect much from the food but because the retro feel and the half off drinks with the app we go often. Lately the all has been "off". I've been h able to redeem any rewards or get half price items. Tonight asked if they would honor which I was told no. It was really good that I ended up drinking the large which is very big before I went to the casino.
