Went here for 2 milkshakes and was asked to pull forward & wait at the yellow line in the drive thru. After i sat at the window waiting for 5 mins then asked to pull forward. The customer service here is shockingly horrible! I usually don't bother rating everyday fast food places unless it's absolutely horrible, and people need to be warned. So we are visiting the area, and I called several times to see if the location was actually open until 12 due to COVID-19. Of course I never received an answer...I drove over to the location after calling, we had some unexpected things come up, and had not had the chance to eat. Sonic is usually one of our favorite places, and we do not have them in our city. I pulled up at 1130, and it looked closed because everything was dark and the parking lot was empty, but I saw a worker outside taking out trash and he said they were open. They had on a headset and started talking to someone. I pull up to order and I do not hear anyone. I wait and wait, and the worker is standing next to the building outside watching us sit there, so I thought maybe they were making sure someone helped us like a decent human being. WRONG! The next thing I know someone starts screaming at the top of their lungs, just to scream in the speaker. Of course me and my daughter (who is 10) jump and I'm looking around and don't know what to do. We are 2 females alone in a dark, empty parking lot. The guy that had been watching us starts laughing hysterically in our faces, so obviously it had been set up. I have never been so disrespected in a drive thru, and for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I ordered a corn dog, medium fry, medium frozen lemonade with strawberry, and tried to order a breakfast burrito meal. I was told there would be a wait because they would have to cook the burrito. I was afraid they would do something to my meal, because they clearly didn't want us there. I just ordered a medium chili cheese hotdog meal with a frozen lemonade and added strawberry. My total was $25...how!? While I was trying to order the speaker kept going silent, and the guy outside would start to laugh, so they were obviously continuing to talk about us. There was a heavy set African American man in the window with glasses. He finally opened the window and handed us the food, and told me to pay using the machine outside of the window. I never received or was offered a receipt. I know I was definitely overcharged. When we went to eat the food after this ordeal, the temperature of all of the items was almost freezing, like the temperature of something refrigerated. It wasn't even warm enough to have just been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, and everything tasted old. All of the food went in the trash, and the slushes were completely melted and I received a cherry slush, so those went into the trash as well. The staff at this location are horrible , disgusting people! I don't know why they would find behaving like that hilarious. We are 2 young females in a dark, completely empty parking lot. It was just plain harassment, and I was overcharged. I guess if I was given a receipt the charge would be evident, and I would have the info needed to place a formal complaint. It was also not amusing to receive refrigerated food. If you hate your job so much and don't want people coming 30 mins before closing, then quit!! This was my first time eating at Sonic in a long time. I couldn't wait to eat some of my old favorites. Unfortunately, this experience was not up to par. I placed my order for pick up online and received a third of my order. My meal consisted of a chicken sandwich combo and drink with a shack in the side. I received a sandwich and shake only. The chicken wasn't cooked at all. It literally had the same color as if it had come out of the fridge. My shake was half melted and I can't say anything about my tots or drink because those never came. I will never eat at this location again. They did not earn their 2 Star rating this day. read more

The tater tots here are delicious and so is the crispy chicken sandwich! Skip the regular fries. Ask for the honey mustard dipping sauce for the tater tots! I didn't like how we had to talk though a machine (dining in) while there was a glass booth with about 6 workers inside...like why can't you just take my order face to face. I see you, you see me. There's no need to repeat things or ask for things to be repeated through a scratchy microphone when I'm dining in! I felt like I was at a drive through, just standing and without the car. The dine in place is outside...which we didn't enjoy because we had flying company (Mosquitos)...I also didn't like the concept of the waiters wearing roller skates. We tried to order on the app and the app wouldn't let us order. The drinks were 1/2 priced online but when we got here they charged full price. The person taking our order was rude. The person who gave us our food was nice though. When we ended up getting short a sandwich carhop seemed nice about getting us another sandwich. The commercials are so awesome that I was so happy to finally get to a Sonic. My hot dog was so small, I could have eaten two but it was delish. The onion rings were meh. They had an after taste. Several times observed the young girl go to the wrong car with wrong food , ordered a simple number 1. Slowly got to the front of pull forward wait line. Waited n waited then they bring me the wrong order . Waited more , then they bring food to cars behind me. Nope had enough , so unorganized. I had enough and got a refund. In addition they have a huge pot hole in THEIR drive. It's obvious management can care less about customers car rims n tires as this hole just didn't happen over night. 6" deep by 24" wide. If you run low profile tires or low to the ground. Watch ouy. Follow up 6\6/20. Well the sink hole is fixed but the service flat out sucks ! No joke a couple told me they were waiting for 45 min. Never tried Sonic before so when I was driving on Laskin Rd. in search of the exact location Captain Georges Seafood we ran by the Sonic...First the ride was for the kids as they wanted something to eat. They saw the 5 guys...but we werent at Captain Georges yet. So I found it and made a U Turn...first stop SONIC....I was impressed with the set up...all these outside order screens that you can pull your car up too. I hit the order button...Ordered my food and swiped my card. The pretty young lady was out on her skates in less that 3 minutes with our food. I was astounded at the service. Super duper top notch I will be back. I ordered the Chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese...str8 yum with my diet busted but there was a party in my tummy that was so yummy. Pulled in for a quick late lunch with my bf around 2:30pm. We wanted to order at one of the drive-ins as we'd been working in the sun all day and wanted a break in the shade, but the slots on the right as we pulled in were full. We waited in the drive thru line for about 10 minutes to reach the next open slot, only to be told when we pulled in that they couldn't take our order and to get back in the drive thru line. Meanwhile, multiple cars had passed behind us. We got back in the line and waited some more before finally ordering two meals and a breakfast burrito. They were out of onion rings. We waited some more and finally got to the window to pay - the employee had her mask completely off her nose and mouth and I saw her wipe her nose while making my drink. Once we had the drinks, we were instructed to pull up and wait for our food, where there were already four other cars waiting. At this point, there was a car in the slot we were not allowed to order from that had ordered and received their food. By the time the four cars in front of us (and two behind us!) had gotten their orders, we finally got our food. All in all, we were at this "fast food" establishment for an hour, all for food that took 10 minutes to eat. I asked the young lady who brought out our food why it took so long and why we weren't allowed to order and the drive in, but she had no explanation (I don't fault her for this; she was young, and I'm sure her supervisor/manager doesn't relay that info to all employees). Nonetheless, I will not be returning. There are better fast food places, and better Sonic's in the area I would rather give my business to. read more
