We're local and come here on occasion. Was hoping to use Stations app to apply gaming credits to my bill. However, they couldn't use the phone app to apply the credits- they required the physical players card that I didn't have with me. Their technology is antiquated and subpar. I let the server know my thoughts and I guess he told the manager. The manager didn't really have any sort of helpful remediation to the issue- suggested for us to give them my drivers license and wait for a card. This was unacceptable because we had a 3 year old and spent a few hours already dining. I told the manager if she couldn't do anything to remediate the situation, she should just walk away- I would leave the staff a generous tip. She then a few times went into an apology speech that was patronizing and only upsetting me- so I told her over a few more times to walk away. She was stubborn and unhelpful. read more

What an enjoyable experience! We tried out Sonoma Cellars for the Prime Rib special..what a great deal! The prime rib was perfectly seasoned and the baked potato with accoutrements was fresh and fluffy! We celebrated two birthdays and without asking ( they must have been listening) we got creme brûlée served to us both! The bacon wrapped shrimp was a delicious appetizer as well! We will be back often and take our visitors from out of town there for sure! Great service from Brian too! read more

Went here as a celebration dinner, and while I wanted to be excited I just couldn't. We are Las Vegas locals and were excited to try a new spot, but were disappointed. We had a dinner reservation for 6:30pm but didn't have any food arrive till after 8pm. Our server, Somer was amazing, but the food was just subpar. I had a steak which was amazing! But the sides, and my husband's meal was almost inedible. He had the Halibut special which, as we were told, had a beurre blanc sauce, but when it arrived there was no sauce and it was so dry he couldn't even eat it. My husband ordered the crab side as well, and while it was supposed to be hot, it arrived cold. It felt as though we were forgotten about and our food sat in a window for a long time just dying. I was really excited to be able to dine at this spot on the same day. Sometimes you cannot book online reservations when its close to dinner time so we were pleasantly surprised and made sure we were on time! QR codes are set to view your menu, this is not surprising right now. The menu has a little bit of everything ( steak, fish, soup, and salads ) to accommodate your guests. There is also a generous amount of variety of breads including pop ups at the table. Onion soup is savory and the chopped salad is so crisp and creamy. Portions were Steakhouse Chopped Salad,French Onion Soup,Porterhouse, pretty good for the price. I think my steak was aged as it had that distinct flavor to it. Service was on point and attention to detail was very precise. The restaurant itself was beautiful and made you feel as if you were not living in Vegas. I ordered the filet mignon and my husband the porterhouse. Both steaks were disappointing; so tough they were not edible. Had the steak and lobster special and overall presentation was excellent. Couple of recommendations I would make to the restaurant. Very friendly at the hostess stand was greeted and seated immediately. 1. I realize there is a business need to do as many covers as possible but please put a standard and enforce on your dress code. I think this also starts with the staff as well for a high-end restaurant. If customers can't get dressed up for a high end, restaurant send them to the buffet 2. Absolutely love this place. I go here with my wife on special occasions. Being a local and having a Station Casinos' rewards card gets you great discounts at Sonoma. On this day we had the rack of lamb and filet. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Would recommend. The only reason Sonoma Cellar doesn't get 5 stars on this visit is because our waiter, although very knowledgeable and quiet friendly, was very pushy. He really wanted us to drink and kept pushing expensive bottles of wine. Again and again. He also insisted on the lamb and completely failed to tell me that I was buying a FULL RACK of lamb ($68 worth). It was way too expensive and way too much food for one person. Had I known I would've opted for the half rack or something else. I've had this waiter in the past and he was pushy the first time. I believe his name was Brian. Well Sonoma Cellar got creative and created the SONOMA JUBILEE. We saved room for dessert and ordered this dish. They come table side to create this dish before your eyes. Blueburries, blackberries and raspberries sautéed in butter, brown sugar and hit with Chambord and Grand Marnier. It suddenly becomes a Vegas Fire Light Spectacular because it turns into a flambé. During the flambé the server follows it up with cinnamon which becomes even more visually stimulating. Reservations were 5:45 pm and it took a little over 2 hours to each, which was fine as the wine was good, thought hey were not busy. Nothing is traditional anymore with the new mandates and Sonoma cellar made us completely comfortable as soon as we were seated it was the last thing on our minds "POOM" was our waitress and let me tell you this woman deserves an award she went well beyond her duties as a waitress she made our anniversary memorable and worth every penny we spent there !!! Now for the food For starters we had the ahi and the lobster Bisque delicious !!! Both were terrific we had the Sonoma margarita and the peach sour as cocktails and those were also very refreshing and yummy!!!! The hostess name Rose was so terrible at her job that several couples walked out before we could even be seated. That includes myself and my partner. We felt very ignored & dismissed. The worse part about having a bad experience at a place that serves food, is you're always put in a more uncomfortable situation if you say anything at all. The service can go from bad to worse so it's a lose lose for the customer under these circumstances. Wont be returning. However, I do feel proper training is necessary for the staff/employees. I am so full and so exhausted, but I was still determined to write this review tonight. After careful consideration of everything that has happened in the last few months regarding my experience at Sonoma Cellar, I am happy to say that they have definitely redeemed themselves and earned five stars, if not six! The manager, Aaron finally contacted me and discussed the issues that I had. He apologized for what happened and for his behavior throughout, and while he and I initially bumped heads, he was very humble and he owned the outcome of the situation. I can definitely respect that. I made it clear that I would have happily changed my review a long time ago, had he acknowledged me and apologized for what happened. I honestly don't think that that even crossed his mind, which I understand because so many people do not go back and update their reviews. I am a fair person and I'm not hard to please, so I really appreciated him reaching out. Initially, when he called me, I was mad that he was calling, but I did listen to him and he sounded very sincere and invited me back to show me how great Sonoma Cellar is meant to be. Many people don't stand up and own their shit and while it took awhile, the fact that he did speaks volumes. From the time we walked in, we received impeccable service. Aaron greeted our party of four (My mom, sister, her fiancé, and myself) and sat us at a very comfortable booth that was already set up for us. The table was beautiful and he had a very nice and thoughtful card waiting there for me. He also brought over glasses of champagne for us!! Talk about service! I'm glad that he set it up for Javier to be our server, again. He was absolutely fantastic, as usual. We ordered wine and chatted over the menu. Aaron came over and suggested the Bone Marrow appetizer and gave a funny explanation of It. We ordered that and the Crab Dip. Both were excellent! We've been here many times so this review is a mixture of all of our visits. Atmosphere: The ambience at Sonoma Cellar is calming. Not too loud and the lighting is perfect for a steakhouse. Service: Service is generally a 5 star experience. We've yet to be disappointed in our waiter/waitress and the bus/drink staff are equally impeccable. Food & Drink: Their food is always top notch! The salmon is nearly always cooked to perfection. Their steaks are a very decent cut and cooked properly to order. I think maybe only once mine came out a little overdone and they offered to recook it but it wasn't too bad. The creamy spinach is delicious. The only better I've ever had was as STK. The grilled asparagus is perfectly cooked. All of the sides you can order are generally above par for this price point. The roasted chicken meal is also a great option. Their lobster is delicious and decently priced. You really can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu! Overall: Definitely recommend. My family and I went to Sonoma Cellar for Father's Day this Sunday, and for our first time, we were more than impressed and satisfied with our experience! Javier and Christina took care of us for the night, and both of them provided excellent guest service for us that night! The food menu isn't as large as I thought it would be, but the portion sizes for each item was more than we bargained for in a good way. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp, calamari and crab cakes and all of our starters were delicious. I thought the bacon wrapped shrimp was going to be smaller in size, but was impressed with it being jumbo-sized for the shrimp, and the sauce accompanied underneath the appetizer went very well with the first course! The two crab cakes and calamari were delicious as well, and I'd definitely order those again! As for our entrees, I only ordered the steakhouse chopped salad with extra avocado and the au gratin potatoes as my side, and despite everything tasting great, I was stuffed by the end of the dinner. My father ordered the petit filet and lobster tail, and my mother ordered the swordfish. Even though the salmon was her original choice and they were out of the dish for the night, the swordfish was a great alternative Javier offered. Great flavor, perfectly tender and like the shrimp, the sauce that came with it was perfect together. Overall, I would highly come back to Sonoma Cellar. Thought we would try Sonoma as the wife came up with one of those holidays husbands don't track... Gem salad is fresh, crisp, nice tang, but lacking feta cheese... kind of like the amount on a taco at Taco Bell... Pears are diced, eh.. Shrimp cocktail 4 stars...Champagne split is room temperature... 30 min wait for the main... Lobster out of the shell... nice... slightly over cooked, but nice... good size... only melted butter... sides ordered separately... Fillet Mignon... medium rare is medium raw... probably near 110F... Looks like decent flat grill sear... zero seasoning, not even salt... Waiter provides only pepper... We added a side of Brussel sprouts... Came as a long mess of burned leaves... terrible... Side of mac-n-cheese just to be different... Nice... Overall, for $100+ per person, the food preparation needs a real chef, or at least a chef with pride... How can a chef prepare a dish without and seasoning, marinade, sauce, something... anything... I have heard extremely good reviews of Sonoma from friends and neighbors. We booked for Valentine thinking we were in for a special treat. A little disappointed the food was good but not extraordinary delicious. Would help if they list the ounces of all the meats on the menu. We were celebrating our 2nd anniversary. My husband ordered the bone in rib eye. I ordered the lobster and it was cooked to perfection. We took the rest of the rib eye home after he complained the steak had grizzle and tough. Went to Sonoma Cellars to celebrate our Anniversary last Tuesday. They had a couples special. I started with the French Onion soup, very tasty. Wife enjoyed the Caesar salad, next came the New York Steak , wife enjoyed the roasted chicken. I usually will have the Ribeye, however the New York Steak was really good. Our waiter Brian provided excellent service. The manager Edward stopped by to check up on us. Overall great food, great service, great staff. Medium rare ribeye, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Ordered an Old Fashioned to down the delicious fresh bread I was given. The steak was exquisite from the first bite to the last. I had the porterhouse and it lasted me 3 meals and still delicious the next day. They closed down our valentines tradition restaurant so we had to find a new one. They had a live singer that was pleasantly surprising and not overbearing. We don't drink but they do have an extensive wine list. We loved the mac an cheese with lobster very creamy. We ate here with another couple and all of our steaks were way over cooked and dry as can be. There were only 7 other tables of people. Our waiter came to the table 25 minutes after we arrived, took our order and we waited another 45 minutes before the food arrived. As soon as he put the food down he was gone for another 30 minutes. It was as if he knew the steaks were way over done and did not want to hear about it. When I he finally came back and we complained he left saying "sorry". This is an excellent steak house. You would be hard pressed to find better. Service is excellent as well as the fine dining decor. Most patrons are dressed up.
