We were so excited to finally try Soothr and we already can't wait to come back! We came with a reservation on a Saturday night and were seated quickly after checking in. The restaurant was very busy and we were told we had an hour and a half time total to enjoy our dinner. We started with a Thai beer and Thai iced tea followed by a delicious fresh eggplant salad. We then got the spare ribs, the duck noodles, the shrimp koong karee and the chicken khao soi. Would repeatedly get the chicken, ribs and eggplant salad but looking forward to trying more menu options next visit! Service was quick and the food was plated beautifully and delicious!
Perhaps I had too high of expectations but I was honestly not impressed by this meal. The tofu khao soi was really tasty, and I have never before seen a veg khao soi offered so that was exciting. Other two dishes were very spicy but otherwise average in taste and preparation. We got a vegan duck dish which was decent and the real duck rolls which completely lacked flavor. Probably would not return given the difficulty of getting a reservation + multitude of other thai options around the city.
This was a big let down. After hearing rave reviews about this place and fighting for a reservation, I was super excited to try one of New York's most famous Thai restaurants. I will preface by saying I have dietary restrictions, so could only order vegetarian/pescatarian dishes. To share, my table got the eggplant buns. I was super excited for this as an eggplant lover and was really let down. The eggplant wasn't crispy, and the sauce wasn't flavorful enough to add anything to it. Just overall could have used more flavor, especially since bao is so light and a great vehicle for complex flavors. For my main, I got the Vegetable Masamun Trio. I don't know why I expected three different curries. We had to order rice separately, which is not a huge deal, but just something to note. This dish was tasty, but nothing that blew my socks off. Just a homey curry. My friends got the duck noodle and also found it average, maybe too salty. The service was friendly and they were accommodating to my late friend.
Duck noodle - more simple and plain flavors but very good. Duck was perfectly moist Crab fried rice - decent but the green sauce it comes with is amazing. It's fish saucy, sour, cilantro Khao soi - great and more soupy than most. Other places do give more crispy noodles but the flavor on this is very good. Typically had it with chicken but this has crispy pork belly which I love. Get extra noodles to soak it up. Hat Yai - idk why I always get this it's just plain fried chicken with like sweet and sour dipping sauce Pork jowl - typically fresh sour salty Thai tastes Cocktail - forgot the name but see photo. Overall: 5 stars Soothr was a Michelin rated restaurant that has some solid quality Thai food so I was eager to go back for a second round since its been a while. The quality seems to have lasted between the gap and maintains very consistently solid with good service, an interesting menu, and well executed tasty food. I greatly appreciated that they take all dietary restrictions very seriously, reaching out about dairy beforehand and checking in multiple times at the restaurant. (Hoi Johr: C) - Meat forward appetizer encapsulated by a crisp wrapped bean curd. The meat filling is tender and pairs well with that classic thai glaze. The presentation could be made more appealing though. (Pad Thai: B) - Petite portion of Pad Thai, but the flavor profile is solidly there with the sweetness, saltiness, and sourness such that no component overpowers. This one makes a particularly great lunch deal. (Crab Fried Rice: A) - Light but hearty fried rice that is subtle on the palette and paired well with tenderly delicate crab meat. The green sauce adds a herbaceous acidity that gives a second life to the dish. You get around 1.5 hours to sit down and enjoy your meal. Had the had tai chicken, fried dumplings, duck curry and the pork belly summer special! The pork belly was super tender and the duck in the duck curry was also super soft! The curry was a bit sweet but super yummy! Portion wise I would say the curry was a tiny bit smaller than expected? The had tai chicken was a bit dry as well
We showed up at 4:45 on a Wednesday and were third in line. Upon opening we weee called within 10 minutes. The duck rolls were hot and the inside was flavorful. The sweet sauce on the side complemented it well. I had the Karee Pu because the waiter said it was really popular. It was so creamy and like nothing I have tasted before. Delicious! The consistency was so thick and flavorful! I could have made two meals out of it. My companions had chicken kao soy. I've also never had that flavor. It was spicy, almost too spicy for me but that flavor! That's a "last meal" request type of dish! We drank multiple Saratoga little bottles, my only change was that I would have liked larger bottles offered. The staff was quick and helpful, it ran seamlessly. I felt we were in good hands. This is an outstanding establishment that makes me rethink other five stars I've given, wish I could rate it higher. My daughter tells me the portions are the same if Doordashed.
Craving for Thai food and found this amazing restaurant/bar in east village. Food was amazing and it has the chic local bar feeling even though it was only the lunch time. Servers were attentive. Crab fried rice was really outstanding. Simple the best! Goes so well with the sauce. Chicken Khao Soi is one of the signature - Rich, strong coconut flavor and sweet. Next time gotta try the Nam-Tok Moo - I think I like something rich but not so sweet. Mango sticky rice, good as always to end this meal.
Soothr has great Thai food and an incredible interior and ambiance. Great for a cute lunch or dinner, and very Instagram worthy food and decor. We made a reservation online for around 3-4 PM, and the service was accommodating and polite. The food was excellent and the portions were generous too. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer for 3 people and it ended up being the perfect amount if not a little too much. We ordered the khao soi moo tod which was a noodle dish with katsu on top. It was very fragrant and spiced, with a curry like sauce and bouncy noodles. There was a lot of meat on top so it was very filling. The stewed beef was also delicious, a little spicy and very tender. It came with rice too. The moo dang puffs were probably our favorite, and they were recommended to us by the server. They were light and crispy, and the filling inside was warm and hearty. Overall, definitely recommend Soothr. There's definitely a lot of hype around this place and I get why!
Unfortunately we were underwhelmed. I've had many Thai Boat noodles in my life and this one, even vinegar and chili condiments couldn't fix it. Something was just missing! The pork meatball app was ok. It was just 3 small cooked meatballs with something that tasted like a sweet and sour sauce topping it off. The fried tofu app had the same sauce on top, except the fried tofu was actually good. My husband's duck noodles--- this was the biggest let down. The duck was perfection. The egg noodles though? Tasted exactly like instant ramen noodles that have been overcooked. My husband couldn't bring himself to eat the noodles, and I tried it, and understood why. A good cut of duck meat with overcooked instant noodles--- no, thank you. Service was good overall. The seating is a bit of a tight squeeze and the music was so loud it caused everyone to speak so loudly over it.
I visited Soothr in New York recently after hearing a lot of great things, and while there were some positives, my overall experience ended up being pretty average. First off, be prepared to wait. The restaurant was extremely busy, and the wait time to be seated was longer than expected. Even after getting a table, it still took a while for everything to move along--from placing my order to actually receiving the food. It definitely felt like they were a bit overwhelmed. As for the food, I ordered the duck curry, which unfortunately didn't quite hit the mark for me. The flavor leaned noticeably sweet--more than I was expecting for a curry--and it overpowered the other elements that usually make these dishes rich and balanced. It wasn't inedible, but it just didn't have the depth or complexity I was hoping for. The service was okay overall. The staff was polite, but interactions felt a bit rushed and not especially attentive, likely due to how busy the place was. We didn't have any major issues, but nothing stood out in a positive way either. The atmosphere itself is lively and trendy, so I can see why it's popular, especially for a night out. However, between the long wait, average service, and the food not quite meeting expectations, I'd say it was more of a 2-3-star experience for me. I might give it another try someday, but it's not at the top of my list to revisit.
Had this place recommended to us so grabbed a weekend lunch reservation. We arrived 30 minutes early and waited in line for check-in for about 10 minutes or so. Soon after we were brought in and taken to our table. Service was friendly and frequent. When we needed something, someone was always close by to help. The food was as good as we've heard. The duck curry and pad thai were excellent with excellent flavors without being too salty which I experienced at other similar restaurants. The place itself is right but beautifully decorated. Nice spot all in all on the east side of the city - recommended.
Got the Pad Thai w/ shrimp bc i was feeling basic and WOW they slayed in the basics. Massaman curry also was filled with lots of flavor and the right spice. Better than imm thai. The diamond tasted like an alcholic otterpop Being outside, we still got a good amount of attention from our waiter. Be prepared for a wait if you don't have a res. Inside it's very busy. I put my notifications on for Soothr and was able to snag a reservation! The drinks were sweet with great presentation. We didn't find them too strong which was nice! Then, not pictured here, but my friend and I first shared a shrimp curry which was so flavorful! The shrimp pieces were meaty and it was perfect to share between 2 people. Then we shared a tomyum seafood soup and lychee duck curry. I wasn't too impressed by the tomyum soup but the lychee duck curry was amazing! The duck was cooked to perfection, and there were actual lychees in the curry which was a pleasant surprise to me! It went very well with the curry. Overall, I've had better thai places but I intend to be back to try their other dishes! read more

This spot was so good!! It's been a while since I've had Thai food and this place was recommended to me by a friend. It definitely did not disappoint. Tom Yum soup is always my favorite and this hit the spot. The service was good and the environment was cozy. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in New York! read more

We had a dinner reservation for 5PM on Sunday. When we arrived there was a long line outside but we were seated right away. We ordered: Drinks: River's Topaz (rum, cinnamon and star anise), a Thai draft beer and Thai iced tea. The cocktail was strong, the beer was OK and the thai iced tea was delicious. Appetizer: Moo Dang Puff (puff pastry filled with roasted pork, caramelized onions, honey sesame oil) - Pretty good. Entrees: Green Curry Nuer Toon (Braised beef in spicy green curry, Thai eggplant, bamboo shoots, red pepper and basil) - This was spicy but not too spicy, the curry had GREAT flavour and the meat was so, so tender! Karee Pu Noodles (Sautéed jumbo lump crab meat in egg curry sauce, onion, celery, pepper over yellow noodles) - The flavour here was out of this world! The crab was delicate, the noodles were cooked perfectly, great dish! We were too full to have dessert. Our waitress was very attentive and kept refilling out water without asking. The ambiance was nice, the place filled up right away, but it wasn't too loud. Also the music was 70s disco, so pretty fun! We enjoyed this restaurant and I already looked at them menu to see what we will order next time we go! Make sure you make a reservation before you go! read more
I came across Soothr on social media and have been wanting to try it for a while. Reservations seem hard to come by for this place, but luckily one of my friends was able to make one about a week in advance. Upon arriving, we were quickly ushered in and given a table. The seating is very tight. A server had to push our table over a little bit because there was not simply enough room for me to get into my seat with the other party seated behind us. They give you a menu for drinks but to see the food, you have to scan the QR code. I thought the website UI for the menu was a little funky. There are a lot more options than there initially appear to be, you just really have to scroll. I ordered the Duck Over Rice ($24) and the All About Amethyst ($18). The Duck Over Rice felt very balanced. The meat was tender, the sauce was flavorful, and the rice was not too sticky nor too dry -- every bite was delicious. The All About Amethyst was very floral and refreshing. The dining experience is overall positive, but I think the prices can be a bit steep. One thing about this place is that the service is very, very fast. After getting our menus, our server checked in on us about three times before we were finally ready to place an order. It didn't feel like we were being rushed though, more like the server wanted to be helpful and alleviate any concerns during the ordering process. Once we placed our orders, the food and drinks came within 10 minutes which surprised us given how busy things were. While I loved my time here, I don't think I would casually come back, but I think it's worth the one-time experience! read more

Food: 4/5 yummmm!!! Food here was really good and I got to try something o wouldn't normally gravitate towards thanks to the recommendation of our server. I ordered the Karee Pu Noodles and loved them! I did get a side of chili sauce to add because I love spicy, and that made the dish extra good. The amount of crab that comes with this is fairly decent and I liked the thin spaghetti like style of the noodles. Also had the duck rolls with wood ear mushrooms which were very good! I have to say Thai I've had in queens has been better, but I've enjoyed this meal! Atmosphere for date: 4/5 I loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant, just keep in mind tables are all very close together! I would not recommend eating here if you are a larger person (even for me squeezing in between tables was hard and I'm only 5'3) I don't think it would be very comfy if you are looking for more spacious seating/ have a large group. They do have a coat check which is helpful but it's tight quarter inside. Think this would be a nice date place if you wanna be near someone and it wasn't too loud to talk / although not super quiet either. Definitely a hustle / bustle about the place. Service: 3.5/5 For a really nice restaurant the service is good, but they are so busy they don't seem to have time to explain the menu in depth, etc. maybe this just isn't part of the experience but I wouldn't say the service stood out in any way. We came here on a Monday night with a reservation, and the place was packed! We ordered several dishes: - Koong Karee: a little too salty for my taste, but still flavorful. - Duck Noodles: amazing--definitely ordering this again next time. - Pad Thai: above par, solid execution. - Duck Roll: the perfect appetizer to start the meal. Tables are a little tight but overall the ambiance inside has an elevated Asian vibe while remaining relatively casual. The darker teal hues around are beautiful. The food was amazing, to be expected. It was very filling. The flavors were good and service was good. The curry was really very yummy, a little kick to it but not crazy. Both things we got had a slight kick which was too spicy for my aunt but I thought it was a good level. The food is not worth the hype or the wait. Reservations are hard to get for this spot or if you do a walk-in, you have to wait hours. The inside is extremely cramped with minimal space to walk between tables. The portions are very small other than the Koong Karee and the Seafood Tom Yum Hotpot. These are the two dishes that I recommend - both were tasty and filling. All the beef dishes were extremely dry and chewy. Most of the dishes felt like it was tapas style, but charging full price for it. Don't be fooled by the zoomed in photos. I had high expectations considering the rave reviews, but there are better and cheaper Thai spots! read more
Worth all the hype. The drinks are majestic and tasty. The curry is so good it'll make rice haters eat all their rice. And the service is personable and sweet. What more can you ask for? The ambiance is not that of the swanky modern asian-fusion restaurants that flood Manhattan, but is more old school casual with little pops of color and subtle decoration. The tables aren't boring brown pieces of wood but are colored burgundy with pretty painted patterns. Another plus: fun blue cups. You can tell the owners are intentional with everything. Our server had the aura of a warm hug from your sweet Asian Auntie. She was happy to give recommendations on her favorite dishes from each section of the menu (noodles/curry/appetizers) and made sure to check in on us from time to time. My friend and I decided to take her suggestions and we were not disappointed. Since my friend and I came for lunch, we had a pork meatball complimentary appetizer which was a perfect way to start the meal. We also couldn't resist the beautiful cocktails and got a Rose Quartz and Jade cocktail. The Rose Quartz was fruity, floral, and refreshing compared to the Jade cocktail which was a creamy, earthy, and almost soothing. The Panang Lychee Curry is a delicious sweet and savory burst of umami with tender and succulent pieces of duck. The Kong Karee is equally as flavorful and the two curries together pair well together (kong karee leans savory and panang lychee leans sweet). The curries were so good that I ate all my rice (and I never eat all my rice!). I also think the rice tasted really good as well. I'm usually not in the mood for Thai food, but knowing Thai food can taste this good I'll definitely be in the mood more often. Soothr is now, hands down, my favorite Thai spot. read more

Thai restaurant that has some outstanding dishes as well as some less exciting ones. The chicken khao soi is delicious - creamy, flavorful and noodles that are perfectly cooked. Pad thai - they killed it. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, noodles were extremely flavorful, no complaints. The pad see ew was mediocre though, the three of us chose not to eat it. The flavor really didn't match any of the other dishes. Their desserts were okay, nothing to write home about. Mango sticky rice had more of a stewed mango with mango sorbet and I think traditional mango sticky rice is better. Their Thai iced tea dessert also didn't particularly work - it's basically a gelato sandwich with rice on the bottom. Beware - you probably need a reservation to come here and you are only allowed 90 minutes to dine. read more
Made reservations for 9 on a Saturday and the place already had a short line outside. Definitely try to make a reservation if planning to come here, or walk-in later for a chance to eat here. My and my boyfriend were seated shortly after 9 and our waiter was super attentive and friendly. To start, I ordered the "All that Jade" to drink and this was more spirit forward that I was anticipating but I was forewarned by our waiter that this was a bit bitter and a stronger drink. To eat, I got the Lek Kua Muek, which was one of the chefs specials. This was the perfect amount of spice for me and there was also ample squid. My boyfriend got the duck noddles, which I didn't try but he said it was delicious. We didn't go for an appetizer, but wish we had because we were still hungry after the meal and went down the street for a bite of pizza. Overall, I would definitely come back to visit to try one of their signature soups and pair it with an appetizer this time. read more

Came back to Soothr to try their chicken Khao Soi and it was just as good as their pork one! It really depends on what you're in the mood for. I will say I did not find it spicy but some of my coworkers find it too spicy so it depends on your tolerance level. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It was very cold in the area we sat in but they quickly closed the back door and turned up the heat. I will continue to recommend Soothr! read more

Excellent Thai food. I tried the Khao Soi over at Dragon Fest almost a month before and knew the full experience was needed. This time I ordered the Koong Karee which is a seafood coconut curry cuisine. Delicious and satiated all of the Thai curry craving. My buddy got the spicy beef curry stew and it was mildy spicy but great flavor. We also ordered the duck spring rolls which was ok - not as crispy as I hoped. The mango sticky rice ice cream was awesome. We enjoyed spooning ice cream with the rice and the mango slices together and eating them at once. Good service and decorations in the patio room. 10/10 coming back soon read more

Omg absolutely in love with this spot!! Lovely Michelin Guide Thai restaurant with an elevated but authentic dining experience. Ambiance is giving sleek, modern and trendy. Service was so friendly and attentive even though it was super busy and packed as expected. Also the waiters and waitresses are super cute and stylish haha. Drink menu is top tier, love the creativity and theme of the drinks like wow!! Refreshing fusion flavors, beautiful garnishes and perfectly balanced drinks for $17 each. Definitely would love to come back and try more, also wish they had a happy hour. Food was absolutely delicious, pretty standard but smaller portions compared to your typical Thai restaurant in my opinion. The duck noodles were my absolute favorite! Would have been nice if they had photos on their menu or more time to explain which dishes they recommend, it was a bit hectic deciding what exactly to order especially during busy dining hours. Overall wonderful experience at Soothr and can't wait to try the sister restaurant. read more

What was good? - Shrimp dumplings - Fried chicken - Spring rolls Unfortunately, the other dishes we tried were just too sweet for our taste, even after adding spices. As for the drinks, they were fine. The ambience of the restaurant is small and cramped. The service was disappointing. Although they allowed us to sit even though our whole party wasn't present, they rushed us out while we were still eating, which is unacceptable for a Michelin-star restaurant. Given this experience, I will not be returning. read more
One of the best Thai restaurants in the city! The food is consistently flavorful and well made. My friends and I did a walk in on a Monday night and had to wait about 30 mins so I highly recommend making a reservation if you can! We ordered the chive pancakes, karee pu noodles, crab fried rice and khao soi. Everything was delicious! We also ended our meal with mango sticky rice, which was amazing too. The staff were really attentive and hospitable. Just note you only have an hour and 15 mins to eat, but would definitely be back! read more
The food is good here but it's pretty expensive for the portion size. I had ordered a drink, an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert here, but I was still hungry after my meal here, which to me is the one thing that a restaurant has to do right? Make sure you're full? I think the entree portion for the duck noodles was pretty small, which was the issue. I don't think I have a particularly large appetite compared to the average person, but I think they should've put less duck and more noodles to help make the dish more filling. I just can't believe I ordered all this and still came home hungry. My other friend got the khao soi and she said it was pretty filling, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. So let this be a warning if you're considering getting the duck noodles: it's not very filling! So you better order something else too or else you're gonna still be hungry. I will say I very much enjoyed the mango sundae dessert. This place is a bit far from me so I don't imagine that I will be back anytime soon, nor do I want to make the effort to. This place has a lot of hype so it is definitely better to make a reservation before coming. They have nice ambiance and very cute decor - I liked cute plates and glasses. Unfortunately, the service is not friendly at all, do not expect to see smiling waiters. Our server was rushing us to place an order, and to eat - maybe because it was a Friday night and he wanted to turn table quickly, but it was not an enjoyable experience. We ordered a lot of food - on a nice note, the food arrived quickly, but the waiter did not really care to check on us to make sure we were doing okay. I love Thai cuisine but this place was just ok, nothing special. Most of the dishes were too sweet, the only dish that I really enjoyed was the crab fried rice, the rest is not worth mentioning. read more

This place was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. Service was great and very efficient, this places gets busyyy! Food was AMAZING! We loved every bite we had, flavors, taste, everything was sooo good. Pad Thai, curry and coconut dessert were our favorites. For sure a must try while in New York :) read more
So so delicious!!! Our favorite was definitely the Koong Karee. The creamy egg curry was a perfect texture and there was a good number of shrimp! The duck noodles were also great but the portion was small for the price. The drinks were delicious too and the desserts were a perfect way to end the meal. The only thing that was a bit subpar was the dumplings. Pretty steep price for 4 little dumplings. But overall, would recommend! The waitstaff were also so patient with us and answered all of our questions. The interior was small but decorated beautifully. Make a reservation beforehand! read more

THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN NYC! Soothr is unreal- I really think it's the best Thai restaurant in NYC. Reservations can be a challenge, but everything else about the experience is fantastic. The food is fantastic- my favorites are the duck curry, chicken khao soi, pad see ew, beef pad kra pow, and shrimp curry but every dish is fantastic. Additionally, the staff are welcoming and very friendly (Alex, Nina, and others are super hospitable). If you're in New York, this is a must try! read more
Really yummy Thai place that specializes in more noodle dishes than other places. Arrived there at 5 pm on a Wednesday with no reservation for 5 and we were able to get a table outside. It's pretty crowded so I recommend reservations. We got the duck noodles, khao soi chicken, koong karee, and crab fried rice (not pictured) which are their most popular dishes. Everything was super flavorful, and I enjoyed mixing the Koong Karee with the fried rice! Khao soi chicken was super tender and juicy. It was savory and sweet with a hint of lime! The duck noodles were my favorite; I enjoyed their house gravy and super tender duck. I never had this type of dish before in Thai cuisine. The Koong Karee had a decent amount of shrimp and huge amount of curry. It's not spicy at all and is very creamy and not as thick! I would come back here to try their other Thai dishes read more

Ok, so I teetered between 4 and 5 stars. But the woman at the front door just seemed to not like people and honestly almost ruined the vibe. But once you get past her (both literally and figuratively) a fantastic dining awaits. Our waiter was kind. The food was phenomenal. The space is just tight. Like I could use an additional 6" of room in all directions and that would legit help everything from dining to bathroom usage. Came here for the lunch special, but it looks like the only add-on was a free appetizer, which you could decide between fried meatballs, or dumplings. We got there at 11:58 and they said we had to wait until 12 for them to open, but they finally told us they're open and I was the first to order. After hearing things about their shrimp curry, I ordered that with the fried meatballs. My total came out to be about $28 which I thought was a little bit steep for a to go lunch order. Waited about 20 minutes outside as there were a lot of chairs. Walked back to my office and ate it while it was still hot and packaged very securely with a lot of saran wrap. The fried meatballs were a little underwhelming as they were just tossed in some sweet chili oil. The curry was pretty good. I thought it was packed with flavor, a little bit spicy and a lot of shrimp. The only annoying part was the tail was still on it lol. It was enough for me to save a little bit as an afternoon snack the next day. Make sure to ask for silverware because they did not include any. read more
So glad I came back! I had an emailed, confirmed reservation of 7 people. They are strict on the Only Seating with Completed Parties - they must have counted my group about 3x. We were seated in a pretty cramped table but it turned out okay. The recommendations from the staff are truly good - the Hoi Johr dumplings have shrimp, pork, grab and sticky rice and come with a sweet sauce. ($14 for 4 pieces) I got the Amethyst cocktail which was very pretty and quite strong. ($21) The highlight was truly the seared pork green curry ($26) and the Karee Pu noodles ($30) which when thoroughly mixed together, the crab meat and curry and noodles have you grabbing a spoon to get every last bite! Visited Soothr and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Khao Soi and its curry fragrance plus lime elevated every bite. It was unlike anything I usually eat. I had the Tom Yum rice noodles, which were really good too, but the Khao Soi absolutely beat it by a landslide. We also tried the Morning Glory, which tasted flavorful. Amazing authentic Thai. My brother took me here for the first time since I don't live in New York, and I'm so grateful he did. It's now at the top of my Beli list :) (iykyk). This was my first time experiencing Thai food like this, and it really stood out for its incredible flavor profile. Everything was so delicious, and the servers were all kind. Some favorites were the Koong Karae, Pad Thai, and Duck Noodles (pictured below). It's a more intimate space and the restaurant seems to always be packed, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. Tables are mostly for 2-4 people, and while they're close together, it doesn't feel overwhelmingly crowded. Service is quick, as tables are limited to 1.5 hours. Although I got lucky and got seated immediately it was mostly because I went with a small group but I can see the lines went almost around the corner. They even had chairs outside for the people waiting. The decor inside is pretty amazing though, feels like you got transported into a back alley in Thailand, which is pretty cool because usually from my experience a lot of Thai restaurants decorate their restaurant like a temple. Food wise my crab fried rice was ok, I saw that a lot of people ordered it and recently I've been craving fried rice after seeing those street food videos in Japan and Thailand etc. The amount of crab was decent but the rice didn't have that smokiness one would get from a wok and a high btu burner. The curry was pretty spicy and coconutty if you're into that kind of flavor and the duck was pretty good. The appetizer we got was the jeeb dumplings which when reading the description sounded pretty exotic and unique but when it came out it just looks and tasted like a deep fried siu mai so that one was just ok, wouldn't really recommend. Overall I would come back here just for the experience since I really liked the vibes and visuals. read more

Food/Drinks: Every single dish here was amazing. Each dish was filled with flavor and spice, which was incredible. My favorite has to be the Tom Yum Soup; I can't even tell you how many times I went back to that. The fish was airy and light, the noodle dish was packed with different flavors, and the drink was addicting. Everything about this meal was perfect! Service: The servers were extremely nice and although there was initially a wait to get it, everything after was pretty quick. Dishes came out almost immediately and the waiters were always available, despite how packed the restaurant was. Ambiance: The vibes were immaculate. The music was on point, the red hue of the restaurant gave it a retro Asian vibe and just the entire decor was on point. We took so many pictures of the interior and loved this place. read more
