I was in town for a work meeting, and I was staying not far off of New Bern Ave. This amazing little Italian restaurant is good! The host was nice, and the lady cooking was nice! It was like stepping back into the early 2000's! The food was super delicious, I didn't have to wait long and was given a beer and a glass of water! I should have tried some wine! This little establishment is awesome!

There are more tables inside than I thought. There is room for a party of 10. We were greeted by our friendly waiter. They have a nice selection in their menu. Their menu has a great range of Italian food from pastas to pizza. They have wonderful dessert selection. We started with cups of water that were refilled often. I had a side garden salad with homemade ranch dressing. Delicious! My friend and I decided to share a Margherita pizza. You know what? This pizza was really good! The crust was soft and flavorful. The cheese was fresh. The tomatoes seemed like they were hand picked! I really enjoyed this meal and service. This wonderful lady...I'm assuming the chef hand delivered each dish. It was a very personable touch. I noticed they have take out options. I am going to add this hidden gem to my places to eat on this side of town.

Was recommended to go here for authentic food. This was a great experience. The chef greeted us on the way in and the wait staff were very attentive. We all picked something from the house specials and it came out looking and tasting great. Will definitely go back.

I took my team members for a lunch meeting, and it was good. This place has great options, especially during lunch. It has 3 lunch menus: Lunch specials, chef's specials and the regular menu. I had the fettuccini alfredo with chicken and it was not bad at all. The restaurant is centrally located in a shopping plaza with its own free parking lot. If you are not familiar with the area, the GPS will take you straight to it. Good stuff!

I had the beef/lamb gyro, then this is the Italian sub. I've been here twice for lunch, every time it is delicious. All the vegetables are fresh and crunchy. u can taste the difference between a McDonald's tomato and the stuff they use here . The Food is made with care. I definately will be coming back to this place. Service was excellent, my cup never went below 1/2 full and food came out quickly. Tables were clean and bathroom was clean

Me and my friend came in to have dinner before our concert last night. We ordered a glass of wine each. Calamari for an appetizer and we asked our server which I think is the owner's son from a prior visit if we can split the 10in margarita pizza. He gave us kinda of an awkward look and said well you might as well get the 14inch because I will have to charge you a split fee because it's such a small pizza. I was a little puzzled and said really? He said yup very short and rude. So after that it seemed he was kinda distant. I'm not sure if he judged us from that moment. He brought us out the calamari. It was small portioned and really just fried batter for the most part. Then dropped our pizza off. When he walked back by finally I requested if we could have some pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese. He came back shortly after dropped them off. Once we finished I had to wave him down for our bill. As you can see on the bill. He Charged us $2.50 for the Parmesan which he did not mention it would be a up charge before bringing it out. He also charged us a 15% gratuity charge. I went there one time prior on business with another person about a year ago. Never up charged us for Parmesan or added gratuity. I'm not sure what kinda business they're running but that will be my last visit.

Stopped in for lunch as they had a few tables for outside dining. Chicken Parm sub was filling, nice taste. Fries were bland and undercooked. Got a dinner salad and did not like the dressing (which was on the side). They wanted to charge me for another dressing. Paid $28 for lunch (iced tea, sub, fries, and salad) and wanted to charge extra for dressing replacement. Price to value is not aligned.

Chicken Picatta and Chicken Parm... amazing

Awesome food, the calamari was amazing! Chicken picatta was hot and fresh... First time here and we will be back!

When we were eventually seated and I ordered my burger it came with fries instead of the potato soup. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if I didn't have a gluten allergy and fries didn't share a fryer with food that contain gluten. I had to wait even longer for my burger to be remade. Fortunately the food was good and our server was very attentive and communicative. We also talked to one of the managers afterwards and she was very nice and professional. The hosts were for the most part professional, but it did look like they were just standing around doing nothing at times. I don't know if all three of them are supposed to stay at the front desk, but it seemed like maybe at least one of them could have helped out the kitchen staff more to speed things up. I think I will give this restaurant another shot. Just maybe not on a Saturday night.

Becky (on our receipt at Rebecca) provided us with genuine Southern hospitality during our entire dining experience. She was efficient and friendly with many great suggestions regarding food items. I enjoyed the grilled shrimp along with a loaded baked potato and delicious Caesar Salad. The dressing on the salad had fantastic flavor, and it was not drenched in the dressing as some places tend to do. My husband enjoyed the blackened redfish dish which featured shrimp, lump crab meat, tomatoes, green onions, lemon butter, and red pepper flakes. He exclaimed over the fabulous flavors. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and airy yeast rolls (at least I believe they are yeast rolls) that were accompanied by a decadent and addicting honey, cinnamon butter. Becky brought 4 of them for the 2 of us, and I wish she had not because I could not resist having part of a 2nd roll. We will return soon as we look forward to enjoying their lunch/early dining menu that runs only Monday - Friday!

You have to let the security at the desk no you're stoooing in for lunch at Truffles. There's decent seating, wood line view, and a television. It offers breakfast and lunch for the desk jockeys working there, which is convenient. They have your egg-and-meat type sandwiches for breakfast (toast, English muffin, or croissant) and sandwiches and salads for lunch, with a different soup on a rotating basis. They also offer a special every day, which a lot of my coworkers really enjoy. I heard a bunch of them rave about the veggie melt, which I still haven't had a chance to try! Anyway, there are your typical deli sandwiches, plus several mediterranean (vegetarian) options, which is great for me! There are a couple sides, like fruit salad, tabouli, and stuffed grape leaves. It's a pretty good deal, with sandwiches around $5-7. A cup of soup is just a few bucks! They also carry drinks and some snacks, and always have a couple baskets of brownies and bars to satisfy your nagging sweet tooth.
