Wow wow wow! I am always chasing wings, and I am glad I found a spot in DC with good ones. After my family spent time on the side of town with the more expensive restaurants, we started to hit up more of the local spots. Soul Wingz didn't disappoint. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all day long. The food is cooked on the grill in front of you while you wait. This is a DC corner spot restaurant, that has minimal seating inside. However, there are table outside for people to eat at. However, small warning, there are large dumpsters nearby, you may smell garbage while you eat. We ordered: Chicken and French toast Wingz (mumbo) and fries Wingz, Mac & cheese and yams French toast and bacon Quesadilla Lemonade Everything was good and fresh. Only thing I wished is that I could order the lemonade "spiked". Can't wait to go back, during our next visit.

Happy Memorial Day!! A slight mishap brought me to this spot. That nuance allowed me the opportunity to watch this place go from a food truck, to a storefront!! So after a good minute, I finally made it!! I'm excited...so let go see what they're hittin on!! . Where I am: @soulwingzdc1 . Location Reviewed: 2833 Georgia Ave., N.W. Washington D.C. . Their Red Velvet Cake...STAMP!! Super Moist, flavorful, & sweet. I couldn't finish this. Their 16 Wingette Deal (with spicy lemon pepper on half, & Mumbo sauce on the other half $14). Delicious . I worked in DC for the day and was in this neighborhood. The staff was super friendly and attentive . Wings were incredible. The seasoned rice is seasoned perfectly! For the price you can't beat it. Would definitely return . Soul Punch would go great with a little bit Hennessy .

Wow I was skeptical at first to try but wow!! The line was long but for the price and the food was worth the wait. Everything was made fresh to order; the fries were crispy as were the wings, the chicken cheese steak was very flavorful and the cake and lemonade were delicious. I thought the lemonade would have an artificial taste but it was great. And the serving size is big for the price, I have a few days of leftovers. Nice and attentive family restaurant! All around great experience the food was worth the wait!!

An Elegant Breakfast Spot with Wonderful Staff (Just Mind the Checkout)…read moreThe Atmosphere & First Impressions High-End Finishes: The restaurant is beautifully designed with high-end finishes, creating a very upscale environment. Impeccably Clean: Upon arriving, we immediately noticed how clean and well-maintained the entire space was. Warm Welcome: The hostess was incredibly kind and set a great tone for our breakfast. The Food & Service Fantastic Menu: The menu offers a wonderful assortment of options. We were originally drawn in because we were excited to try their homemade Pop-Tart! Accommodating & Kind: Our waiter was a very nice gentleman. The kitchen was more than happy to make small adjustments to our orders for dietary needs, which we deeply appreciated. Kudos to the Staff: The waitstaff does a phenomenal job, especially considering the clientele. This area tends to attract a lot of pompous professionals, and we witnessed customers being incredibly rude to the staff on two back-to-back visits. A Note on the Crowd: For example, we were in on a Thursday afternoon and watched a large group of business professionals completely ignore their server. They wouldn't even acknowledge them or say thank you. It felt like olden times, where the staff were treated like servants to a king or queen and were just expected to take abuse. It was really bad. A Quick Note on the Checkout Process Rushed Payment: The payment process felt a bit rushed. The server hands you a small payment machine and quickly pushes you to complete the transaction right then and there. Keep an Eye Out: We aren't the type of people to scrutinize a bill closely--if it's right around the expected amount, we don't worry about it. However, the lady at the table right before us was loudly complaining about a service fee on her bill, and she ended up not leaving a tip at all because of it. Combined with how fast they push the payment machine on you, it might be worth taking a quick second to look over your total if you are the type of person who likes to verify the fine print. Come on people, do better! Overall Impression It is an expensive spot, but the food quality, cleanliness, and excellent service from the waitstaff make it worth a visit. The staff handles a tough crowd beautifully!

I ordered the BBQ lamb shoulder pita which is also apparently rated one of the seven best sandwiches in North America. I can understand it. It was actually really good. A lot of good flavors. I felt like it was going to be not filling in the beginning, but was actually quite filling and had good meat depth in the pita. They pitas are made in house, so small imperfections make it more original. It is a little bit saucy so definitely grab some napkins, but it's a ton of flavor and definitely makes sense why it's one of their signatures. We stumbled upon this new restaurant on the H Street corridor 8th street--a neighborhood that can feel a bit rough around the edges--but what we found inside was nothing short of a true gem. The moment we stepped in, we were stunned by how beautifully designed the space is. The décor feels warm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated, offering a calm retreat from the busy street outside. But the real magic arrives on the plate. Every dish we tried showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients, layered flavors, and a clear respect for the rich culinary heritage of the Ottoman and Istanbul royal family traditions. You can taste the care and legacy behind every recipe. This is not just another brunch spot--it's a place where history, culture, and freshness come together in a way that feels both authentic and elevated. They have both the upstairs and downstairs of the building. Upstairs is a great social gathering with a bartender and the back patio is nicely renovated that can host pet in the summer months. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what the restaurant offers. It's rare to find a place that surprises you in all the right ways, but Tiffany's Bistro & Bar does exactly that. A beautiful concept, executed with heart. We can't wait to come back.

The restaurant business is tough, so I drafted this review with a bit of sadness. I had a good time…read morein large part due to the atmosphere and my date (my girlfriend). That said, a couple missteps that should not have occurred took this review into the negative realm. Let's start with the positive. This appears to be a great new addition to the neighborhood, and I hope it is supported. The appetizers were delicious and nicely presented. The pistachio feta with grilled pita was tasty and interesting. The halloumi with orange marmalade was as well. The hostess was engaging and friendly. The atmosphere was calming with a touch of casual refinement. One of the entrees was delicious (the scallops and grits). I'd order all three items mentioned so far, again. The negative. The second entree was the short rib. It was tender and.... Wow, way too salty. A shame because it was otherwise well cooked and nicely plated. But whoa. When the hostess came by, my girlfriend kindly said it was a bit salty. I "refined" her answer and said she was being nice, but it was very salty. The hostess went to note this for the kitchen (a positive for her), and because we are on the first floor outside the kitchen window I heard the conversation. The chef responded that he knew what had happened. Earlier when preparing the short rib someone (in his words) blasted it with salt. What this tells me is that they knew they'd made something close to inedible but served it anyway. At the end of our meal we had leftovers of the two apps and the short rib. We asked for a bit of extra pita to take home and they provided. Then the bill arrived. Not only was there no adjustment for the inedible short rib, but they charged us $2 for the pita. The least they could have done was just given us the pita. Ah well. Those two missteps; 1) serving a known and improperly prepared entree, and 2) not doing something to make good when reported, have led to this sadly negative review for a place that could and should have gotten a positive one. Hopefully someone there will see this, and the experience and review will be a learning opportunity that will help them thrive.

For appetizers, I ordered the butter glazed biscuits, and they were AMAZING. They came with a dipping sauce that reminded me of peach cobbler, but without being overwhelmingly sweet, which I loved. The brown butter on the side was the perfect touch. I also tried the honey Old Bay wings and wow... they were sweet, juicy, crispy, and had just the right hint of spice from the Old Bay seasoning. The honey drizzle on top took them to another level, and the creamy green dipping sauce paired perfectly with the wings in my opinion. I also had the maple Caesar salad. It honestly wasn't my favorite item compared to everything else, but it was still good and fresh. I'm glad I gave it a try and got my vegetables in lol. I probably just wouldn't order it again next time because the other dishes stood out more to me. For my entrée, I ordered the MH Signature Ribeye Steak with baby potatoes, and it was seasoned to perfection. I personally like my steak well done, and they cooked it exactly how I wanted it. The sauce served with the potatoes was also so flavorful and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was top tier from start to finish.
