Meanwhile, we stood there questioning our own existence. When we finally asked what was happening, we received the same magical prophecy we'd heard before: "10-15 more minutes." Time, it seems, has no meaning at Azul. Their 10-15 minutes exists in an alternate dimension where clocks are merely decorative. Not once did anyone apologize. Not once did anyone explain why we had been skipped. We were simply expected to continue standing there like unpaid extras in a restaurant-themed episode of The Twilight Zone. By the time we left, I wasn't even hungry anymore--I was just impressed by the commitment to chaos.
