Hubby and I were in town for some relaxation and time with each other away from the daily grind of life. We set up an appointment via the phone with for a 60 min couple massage session with Gloria and Mikey. Thanks to the other Yelp reviews about high praises about these two masseurs. We agree they were awesome and new exactly the right places to work on with the right touch. We both were so relaxed and could have (should have!) gone longer but alas all good things come to an end. Definitely will be coming back if we are back in the area. Thanks to Gloria and Mikey for the massages and helping us to feel so relaxed! The place is so calming and inviting too. Everyone there is very friendly and accommodating too.

Soul Spa is a gorgeous facility and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about their image. However, I'm saddened they feel the need to urge you to remove negative reviews, "for their business and Preeti's livelihood." It takes some of us a lot to open up about their experience and I just wanted to enjoy some relaxation for a gift I was given for Mother's Day. The amount of hiccups I had yesterday with her were abundant - so much so that as a provider, she should have handled it better. She too - even acknowledges that. I will say that I loved my last experience, and while this one fell short, I'm saddened by Aleana's (front desk management) pre-message to me today in asking for me to remove my review. I respect running a business, but at the end of the day - tact in handling a challenging situation should be handled with care. I don't do reviews to get anything from it, I don't want anything from your business in lieu of removing my review either. I would have been happy to take it upon myself and update my review with a resolution or new review with a positive experience after another appointment. However given the approach they took to address it, I am not inclined to return; complimentary or not. I'm happy to pay for services and don't expect you to overextended yourselves to remove my review. ----- Therapist: Preeti Singh ------ I would have appreciated knowing you didn't feel comfortable massaging me before my massage instead of after, since I was 6 weeks post op surgery. I would have just waited for another time by your recommendation. My surgeon cleared me medically and my incisions are sealed. I disclosed that on my intake sheet when I scheduled the appointment, plus it was my second massage ever. I felt very belittled by you and was offended in how you talked to me. Your bedside manner could use a lot of work. Especially when you questioned everything before we started and I answered all your questions. You said you'll start slow and see how I feel. However, during the massage - you just avoided my upper arm and thigh like it was the plague. After - you explained that you didn't feel comfortable massaging me or those areas from surgery. That you wouldn't recommend it. But again - you stated this after the fact. After my massage. Not to mention you asked me if I was okay with oil in my hair and I said I would please not like that, because it makes my hair greasy and I had other errands to run. I asked for a massage from shoulders down and that was disregarded. I ended up with lotion in my hair, my hair was greasy as well as my neck. I expected a great experience with your amazing reviews I read here before booking. I was looking forward to it, but this was an experience I will sadly never forget with how you made me feel. You were very short with me, and not friendly at all. Had you taken the time to read my intake in it's entirety before, or if you did, but didn't feel comfortable- I would have rather you just called me before and postponed to a timeline you felt better on or rebooked me with someone else. Communication goes a long way. While you messaged me to apologize for my experience following this review - I still feel that others who are in recovery after surgery may want to see that they need to find someone who is comfortable with them and allow for a more comfortable experience for everyone all around. I wish you the best in your professional endeavors.

I had ongoing issues such as sleep problems, leg numbness, lower back pain, and the typical tension in my neck and shoulders. These were persistent sub-health conditions that had been affecting me for quite some time. With each session, I've felt gradual but clear improvements. My sleep has improved, the numbness in my legs has decreased, and the tension in my lower back, neck, and shoulders has eased significantly. Overall, my body feels more relaxed, stronger, and more balanced. What I really appreciate is that the treatment seems to focus on addressing the root cause rather than just providing temporary relief. It's a gradual process, but the consistent progress week by week gives me a lot of confidence.

I always recommend them to friends because they offer same-day appointments, a wide variety of massage styles, and staff who truly know how to deliver a strong, therapeutic deep tissue massage, just how I like it. What I especially appreciate is how their approach often feels like a blend of Thai and deep tissue massage, with amazing stretches that leave my body feeling reset and renewed. The space is always clean, they're punctual, and the therapists regularly check in to make sure you're comfortable throughout the session. Their pricing is very reasonable, and I always tip $20+ because the quality of service is unmatched. If you're looking for a reliable, skillful, and relaxing massage experience in Reno, this is the place.

Still, the address showed an actual building and the reviews were decent, so we decided to give it a chance. We booked a couples massage and went in. The business is located in a strip mall, and the reception area was empty and uninviting, with a noticeable smell of cooked food. They showed us the room and told us to disrobe and lie face down. 2 therapists came in and asked just one question: "Hard, medium, or light pressure?" That was it. No questions about injuries, medical history, areas of concern, or preferences. This was especially concerning because I've had back surgery, and that kind of information is important before bodywork. The massage itself was fine, and to be fair, the pressure she used on me was good. However, several aspects of the experience were uncomfortable and unprofessional. Draping was inadequate. My glutes were exposed for most of the massage until I said I was cold, at which point I was covered. This made the experience awkward and uncomfortable. The therapist working on my partner was wearing earbuds and listening to something, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. This was extremely distracting and made it hard to focus on receiving proper care. While getting dressed afterward, my partner noticed a faint sewer-gas smell. He has extensive plumbing experience, so I trust his read, though I personally thought it might have been food being heated somewhere down the hall. Either way, neither smell belongs in a massage environment. Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, communication, and basic massage standards. I needed bodywork, and while some aspects of the massage were fine, the environment and practices made it awkward and uncomfortable. I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning.

I called to see if they had any availabilities on a Monday night for the following night for two people and thank goodness they were able to fit us in at 8pm. I did call them on Tuesday afternoon to ask if they had an earlier appt and they said we could come in at 730. Perfect. We got there and it was in a newer shopping center which was nice. They had ample parking and the person there to greet us was very friendly and happy to see us. They had our rooms ready to roll, and everything looked and smelled clean. Every Asian massage place is like Russian roulette... you never know what will happen. Bliss takes place here. It was relaxing but then you get spanked, yanked, and stretched out of the blue. I loved it, but it's not for everyone. It was def what I needed after a long day of travel and working. The small Asian woman I had said her name was coco. I'd def get her again but I'm sure every staff there does a good job. Both my coworker and I came out feeling loose as a goose and in that half drunk state. The staff member who checked us out was very appreciative of our patronage and was so polite. Def not what I'm used to at Asian massage places in vegas. Reno is not one of my fave destinations to frequent but if I were to come back, I'd def come back to this place.

With an appointment, I ended up waiting almost 10 minutes, while (I assumed) my room was being prepped. Guess not because the face towels that were supposed to be warm felt like scratchy dry brand new never-been-washed towels 2/3 times I visited. For my most recent, my massage was on a regular table but instead of a cloth on the face cradle, it was a paper towel....... The hall door was OPEN during the better part of my last 90 minute massage...... Hearing people talking in the hallway and wondering if they could see my body if they walked by was not peaceful. They did some interesting limb bendy stuff on me that I think was trying to emulate Thai massage style, but it was just twisting my body in odd ways that felt weird with my scoliosis (which I'd already told them I had so idk why they did that). I kept waiting for them to return back to/take extra time to focus on the areas I designated on the tablet where my back muscles reallllly need extra care after moving to my lower body, but I am pretty sure they've never looked at my diagram any of the times I've been because this experience is consistent with all 3 visits I've had there. Came across my biggest pet peeve which is having stretches of time over a minute where it feels like the masseuse is just lightly spreading oil on my skin longer than necessary to run up the time. For these reasons and others, I was quite uncomfortable at this place and won't be back a 4th time. I really wanted to give it a chance and give the benefit of the doubt with more chances but 3 bad massages is a LOT of money to drop w little return for a public school teacher. Despite all that, the front desk staff was pleasant and the location is super convenient!! The quest for a massage that can soothe my tight scoliosis muscles continues.
