Quite possibly the best massage of my life. I had 1 1/2 hour massage with Preeti and I could not have been more pleased. The entire staff from walking in the door until I walked out was amazing. To be honest it has been several years since my last professional massage and in the past I never had the results I did today. The environment was perfect and for that time, my mind was finally clear, I was able to fully relax and my body has not felt this good in years. I am with out a doubt going to be coming back. Meh. This place is ok. I'll start with the good, which is that the place has a really nice vibe. Doesn't feel like a shady massage parlor and they have a like a bunch of cool little things u can buy. The actual massages ate just ok, maybe like 6 or 7 both times I went. Different reasons for both massage therapists. Lastly, and maybe this is just me, but not getting the full time I paid for is a deal breaker. I could accept the other flaws but both times I went the therapist shorted me at 5-6 minutes on an hour massage. Feeling like you just got ripped off kinda ruins the relaxed feeling I get from the massage. read more

After working a 16 hour shift my back was destroyed. I was able to get a last min massage with Steve and he saved me. I was in so much pain with any position aside from lying flat on my back. He worked out all my knots and while I am not 100%, I am sooooo much better. He was kind, professional, and empathetic. One of the most pleasant and enjoyable experiences I have had at a spa. I surprised my wife with a two hour session, and she was an absolute heaven. The staff were ultra professional and extremely nice, and took care of my daughter and I while we waited for my wife to finish her session. So I was a bit apprehensive about going to the appointment because not all businesses treat you kindly when you use a groupon. But as my first sentence indicated, this was an amazing experience. I purchased a 90-minute custom facial with Lisa. The first thing she did was explain everything that she does during the course of a 90-minute facial, so if there were things that I did not want her to do, she could adjust accordingly. Once I got settled, she asked me about my skin, skincare regimen (or lack thereof...ugh...), and any concerns I had. I really appreciated this because it really made me feel that she wanted to use products that were best for my individual skin type and not use something that could cause irritation. If you haven't been here yet....GO!!!! Seriously, no exaggeration. I did my research as this was going to be my very first facial. SoulSpa did not disappoint. From the start was greeted warmly, with an offer for water and a soothing waiting area. I was promptly picked up by Lisa for my facial. She explained everything to me (as I asked many questions). I was transported to a place of euphoria. My face, my neck/decolletage, arms and hands had never felt so relaxed and wonderful. I made a appointment to go back but choose the 90 mins this time!!!! Next was my 60 min massage with Preeti. She placed not only my body but my mind into a receptive state for the relaxation that was about to commence. There was some musical instrument that sent vibrations through my entire body to start, accompanied with breathing exercises. Preeti listened to my concerns and problem areas and went right to work. I was able to turn my neck once I left. She also informed me that during the massage she found that where my base of my neck and spine meet was misaligned. That seeing a chiropractor would also be beneficial. I was never asked to "add" services, which was such a relief. I always feel that I am being "up sold" once I get into the room or when I walk in. The whole place just made my day so much better. I booked another massage as well but this time for 90 mins. I can't wait to go back. They are so kind and accommodating. Quaint and relaxing! Booked a modality bodywork massage with Katelynn and was very happy with the massage. Was greeted with a friendly welcome! The place is a quaint house (from the outside) and on the inside, the rooms and the main areas are nicely decorated. When I walked in, I felt immediately a little more relaxed because the environment didn't seem so uptight. For the longest time, I have had a large knot in my right trapezius and everywhere I go, my massages seem to end up with me feeling like someone agitated it more. This was not the case though...Katelynn was gentle about working on the knot and even did a trigger point to help. She wasn't aggressive about trying to get rid of the knot, but rather slowly worked with it. It's still there (going to take many more sessions to loosen for sure) but she was able to make the massage feel more relaxing while she worked on my knots. I definitely was very relaxed during my massage and even fell asleep at one point! I would definitely book another appointment here if I'm in town and recommend others who are looking for a good massage and relaxing couple of minutes/hour! read more

Not my favorite massage. My boyfriend and I did a couples massage but they were very odd about the pressure we like. They said it was an up charge if you wanted firm. I said no because my therapist told me about the charge. My boyfriend didn't know about the up charge so he replied honestly when the therapist asked how his pressure was and he said he could use more. They ended up charging us extra at the end. We talked about it later and even with the "harder pressure" up charge it was still one of the lightest pressured massages we have ever received. We likely won't return. read more

I was in town for a night with my husband and the spa at our hotel was closed for renovations. I found this spa near my hotel on Yelp and called to set up an appointment. I booked the appointment over the phone through Jamie (the owner) and she was so kind, helpful and thankful for my call. I could tell that it was going to be an amazing experience. I walked the three blocks from my hotel, which next time I will take Uber b/c it is located in a very "urban" part of Reno near the Greyhound station. Once I walked in the door, I was instantly relaxed by the serene setting and welcoming vibe. I scheduled a 90 minute massage ($120), which was so much more intense and better than just a 60 minute massage. Marina was phenomenal! She set the tone of the session by asking me to set an intention for the massage (it felt like a yoga class. YES!) and she used aromatherapy as well as hot stones during massage with no extra charge. It is definitely one of the best massages I have ever had and I have been getting massages for 20 years! Marina was nurturing, caring, respectful and radiating in positivity and love.
