Not to be dramatic, but this is one of the best salads I have ever had! The flavor on the shredded chicken was absolutely phenomenal, and the veggies, especially the romaine lettuce, were at the peak of freshness! The two idiots working on Friday 11/7 were the Rudest morons I've ever experienced! It was my first time in there and definitely my last . Souper market is by far my favorite lunch spot. It is very quick and convenient to stop there for lunch during the week, both preparation of the food and finding parking. My toddler loves them as much or more than I do. He will ask for soup on a 90 degree day because he loves visitng the "soup guys" and eating their soups and salads, of course. That being said, they are always so friendly and considerate. Their soup and salad combination is reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and made fresh daily! Absolutely rude and arrogant employee!! One of our clients took his service dog to the deli today and was told to leave, even after notifying them that it was a service dog. (The dog was well-behaved and simply doing her job standing next to him) Additionally, the dog had a vest on, our organization's patches, etc. I cannot believe this business had the audacity to ask him to leave. LOVE THIS PLACE! They have a selection of regular soups, and then a weekly rotation of other options. There are always meat and veggie options to choose from, and the soups come with a thick slice of amazingly soft fluffy bread. Well first and foremost I love soup. This place has the best chicken paprikash soup. Actually most of their soups are delicious. They have the 3 soup deal where you can try 3 different for 10.00. Their bread is yummy. If you can't eat hot soup in summer try their gazpacho also great. I stop at least once a week to get soup to take home. Staff is always helpful and friendly they let you try soups before purchasing. They also have salads haven't tried them yet but I'm sure they are good. Can't go wrong here. read more

I'm going to make an excellent senior citizen one day, because I love soup and trying soups around CLE. Souper Market has a pretty big selection, and also has salads, sandwiches and vegetarian options if you need them. My vegetarian friend and I stopped by and did a soup and sandwich for lunch. I had the grilled cheese and the chicken paprikash soup. The grilled cheese had huge slices of delicious bread, but not a lot of cheese or flavor (I know, huge side face). The chicken paprikash, however, had such an awesome flavor. It was hearty, rich and I can totally understand why its a customer favorite. It tasted like something my grandmother would have made! Next time, I'll skip the sandwich and just get soup. Souper Market is located on Lorain Avenue. If you hit it before noon or after 1pm, you can almost immediately find a meter right outside on non-West Side Market Day. I love this place and this soup! Recently got one with white beans, tomatoes and greens with spices, and one with eggplant, cauliflower, and potatoes, both great. And I regularly get the pulled chicken noodle soup--the best. I'm somewhat limited in food choices as I'm on a lactose-free, gluten-free (though I cheat) diet. We chose this place as it offers several different soups and salad. After sampling the chicken noodle and jambalaya, I decided I was more in the mood for something spicey and the jambalaya didn't disappoint me. I also liked that I was offered bread and/or crackers. I'm usually in such confusion over which one I like best after my sampling that I get the 3 pack which consists of 3-8oz soups and 1-2 large slices of bread. Yesterday I chose 2 of the special soups of the day. Beer Cheese-amazing loaded with vegetables and mild in beer flavor. White Bean Kale-so good fresh abs light with a delicious broth Lastly a standard on the menu parmesan potato kale. I've tried almost everything and really enjoy them all. I've never purchased a salad but yesterday the woman in front of me bought 2 and they looked amazing. Parking can be challenging depending on the day but it's worth it even if you have to walk a bit. Working at the hospital down the street my co workers have come here often to pick up lunch. I went in to get an order for a co worker and I. The guy making the salads had an attitude problem. I ordered one salad without cheese add chicken. The other salad was just add chicken and pecans. I watched the guy dump cheese on both salads. I told him the Greek was supposed to be no feta (dairy issues). He closed the salad and tossed it into the fridge below. While he was remaking it, the nice employee rang up the order. I made sure to let him know all the add ons. Get back to work. Everything was wrong. He remade the wrong salad. Only one salad had chicken on it. The salad that was supposed to not have cheese was piled high and no chicken. The other salad, while it had chicken and pecans no cheese. My co workers chicken soup tasted like it an entire bottle of oregano dumped in it. If you can't handle making more than one order at a time, then don't. We have had various issues with orders and employees in the past. This was the last time. We will not be visiting the Kamms location any longer. read more

How did it take me so long to come to this place?! Came on a blustery November night for some warm soup. I was totally not disappointed. I had the roasted red pepper soup which tastes so rich and creamy and warm. Exactly what I was looking for. D had the Greek salad and a chicken noodle soup. His choices were on point as well.
