If you had to have one dessert, their Kouign Ammans are just the best if you're able to secure some before they're gone. Even their salads, yogurt and rest of the freezer items are pretty good, albeit a little pricey. We've heard about their Pizza nights, will hopefully get to try that sometime soon. Tip: Get there early especially on weekends to grab fresh baked goods.

This will become one of my places I'll order out to take some things home when guests are in town or I'd try their pastrami and Swiss sometime as well I'll begin by saying this place is good, expensive but good. I bake my own bread and there's a line every weekend so I haven't felt the need to go but decided to give it a try. I got the almond cinnamon roll with lemon glaze and my gf got a croissant and cortado. I asked to have the cinnamon roll warmed up and the guy at the register said, "We actually don't warm up cinnamon rolls here." It's a $7 cinnamon roll that'll leave me hungry in 30 minutes and you can't heat it up? Ever heard of someone eating cold cinnamon rolls? I sure haven't. Gave it a shot anyways and had to wait to get home to warm it up as I wasn't impressed. 9/10 warm and 4/10 cold. Should've asked for a refund when he said no. Won't be going back

I'll be dreaming about Blackbelly dinner until I get to have it again…read more We didn't have a reservation and were able to sneak in as a walk-in after only a short wait. The service was amazing and the entire staff was so knowledgeable about the menu. Every time they would bring us something, they explained each ingredient and the person that made it. I've heard they have amazing breakfast burritos at the Market so I'll need to come see for myself sometime soon. Would totally recommend and will be bringing out of town visitors here to show off.

The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.

The vanilla latte was delicious, and the vegan chocolate sun butter cup was the perfect not-too-sweet treat. Such a gem in Louisville. I'll definitely be back.

This was special because I am 100% GF, and struggle to find such a gluten-friendly cafe. I ate at Bittersweet Cafe and it was absolutely delectable! Such an adorable location, right on Main St, and had the cutest environment with lovely seating, large windows, and plants! I got: - Iced Matcha with Vanilla (7/10): It was quite your average matcha. What I did like about this particular matcha was that it wasn't too sweet! It went perfectly with the super sweet pastries and acted as a delicious palette cleanser. - Blueberry Earl Gray Muffin (9/10): This was one of the best GF muffins I've ever had. I LOOOVE earl gray flavored treats, and this one was especially unique. Each bite was incredible. HIGHLY recommend! - Blueberry Coffee Cake (9/10): DELICIOUS! With its large size it could serve many people, and it was incredible! Each bite got a bit of new flavor, sometimes cinnamon, crumb cake, or blueberry. So so good. - Lemon Bar (10/10): Possibly one of the best treats I have ever had. The creaminess of the custard mixed with the crust. I mean... absolute WOW. - Cubana Sandwich on GF Bread (9/10): So delicious, especially after my flight! The mustard and sauce made this sandwich perfect. I mean... WOW. This cafe was absolutely worth every second... I would almost fly to Colorado just for this cafe again!! Such a treat to see such a Gluten-Friendly cafe. Such a lovely experience. HIGHLY recommend. Final score: 88/100
