Every time I order online, I get a Garlic pesto Sandwich, and every time, they forget to put pesto. I really don't get it. It's my fault for not checking, but really, it's every single time! We came in to pick up sandwiches for a quiet Saturday night dinner at home. We were pleasantly surprised at how perfectly crunchy, soft and flavorful the sourdough bread was, even at the end of the day. One of us had the pastrami Reuben and the other had the turkey sandwich. We liked the three size options since I wasn't as hungry getting over a cold, and the smallest size was just right. We also had a cup of the vegetable soup which we both enjoyed. We saw someone come in and pick up a loaf of the sourdough bread to take home which we will definitely be trying along with their cookies. Have I been living under a rock because sandwiches are crazy expensive now! I had a $2 off coupon and was in the mood for something light, so decided to venture out here for a sando. I opted for the Caprese ($13.99 for a 6") and it is TINY. They didn't ask if I wanted it hot or cold, and it just came out toasted by default... I would have preferred it cold. In my mind, I don't associate anything Caprese with warm or toasted. Even Caprese salads are a cold dish by default. Also, they didn't give me the side pickle. Not sure if that's a default option, but as I was reviewing the charges on the screen, I noticed that it said "no side pickle." I corrected the cashier because my fiancé enjoys them, and it was a fairly easy fix. Just keep an eye out so you don't get disappointed if one doesn't end up in your order! Sandwich was just average. I think the Caprese sandwiches at Whole Foods are superior and it's also slightly cheaper. The sourdough bread though was actually pretty decent, so it was really the only saving grace. read more

Great spot to grab a bite to eat. Bread was really fresh, service could be faster. But a lot of the customers seemed to be regulars and not in a rush at all. We got a grilled chicken caesar salad and a bbq chicken flat bread. Both tasted ok. I was wrong to assume grilled chicken would be chunky pieces of chicken. But it was more like deli chicken meat. Sandwich: Good bread Little to no meat, even though we asked for extra on the order. Salad: Basically $14 for a bowl romaine as there were hardly any toppings. I wanted to love this place because sourdough is my favorite kind of bread especially when it's freshly baked. I ordered the turkey and cranberry with added avocado. The bread was definitely delicious. It had just the right amount of chewiness to it and a slight crust on top. Unfortunately, the rest of the sandwich ingredients were very average with not much flavor. I mostly just tasted the bread. There was also no cranberry in the sandwich which may have elevated the taste a bit. I ended up adding my own pepper, pickles, and hot sauce when I got home. Update: I came in today to order soup and a flatbread pizza however to my utter disappointment I was told the owner has decided to pull the chicken poblano soup from this location. They are located in a side area in the Crystal Springs Center, but the soughdough is very fresh and tasty with the sandwich. I didn't get the cheese that comes with the French dip so the picture looks smaller than a regular sandwich. They have a 6" inch online but you can ask for an 8" in the store. The food is very tasty and the French dip is one of the best I have had. The flat bread is crunchy and tasty and you can even adjust all the toppings and the sauce. I'm a big fan of both the smoked brisket and the pastrami Ruben sandwiches The sandwiches here are nicely crafted, sauced and served with a pickle. Many are toasted. The sandwiches here are a magnitude above and beyond a "subway" sort of establishment. They bake their own sourdough baguettes daily which you can buy on their own as full size baguettes.
