I needed to get my brakes done ASAP and my coworker told me about this place. I called and was able to get an appointment first thing the next day. The gentleman on the phone was super nice and was like "don't worry, we'll get it taken care of". Got there first thing the next day, didn't have to wait around or anything - they looked at my car and luckily it was literally just my brakes. I think it took about an hour or so. You ever watch someone solve the Rubix cube in 30 seconds and your jaw drops? And you smile in amazement? Only to watch what takes Ford 3.5 hours to do my brakes, is literally done in 45 mins here at South County Brakes...and it's $400 cheaper. And my Saturday isn't wasted sitting in a FORD lobby for 5+ hours and dropping $800+ for just brakes... right..? (No appointment) Anyways, I'm sure different situations may take longer if he is super busy, and won't turn you away. But I'm talking 20-30 mins wait, My car was on the rack keys in hand 55 mins after I walked in. Call ahead is recommend..What got me was, on certain situations, he will stay and work on your brakes after closed, who does that anymore?? Billy is probably the Nicest Owner & Mechanic I've come in contact with. He's out to save you $$$, and will never up sell, but will point out his thoughts of future concerns. (Side note:we bought the car approx 6 months ago and aren't positive when brakes were last replaced) My wife took her 2016 RAV4 in for what we thought would be a front brake job and possibly rear as well. They had been squeaking a bit for the last 2 weeks. Gentlemen (don't recall his name, sorry) was very honest and upfront, told my wife our brakes were in great condition, like new. All of the 5 star reviews are true. I just got back from getting new front and rear pads replaced on our SUV. Billy had previously done pads and rotors on our other car a couple years back and we got the same super fast, high quality service this time again. He is super honest, reliable and has very competitive prices. He mentioned that he is now able to do all services in addition to brakes with his new space so I will swing by for my next oil change. If you have any issues he is quick to get you in and out! He charges a lot lower on most car maintenance my oil chance was way cheaper which he told me he could do after completing my brake pad replacements and rotors. He also tries to reuse your older rotors if possible which some brake places won't do which is more expensive. I've been driving on them for 10K miles already no issues.:) I've also gotten an oil change twice with no appointment quick and fast.
