This restaurant offers a variety of delicious food at very affordable prices. The steamed buns are freshly made and steamed daily -- soft, flavorful, and absolutely worth trying. The Big Plate Chicken with noodles is especially good -- the noodles are chewy and full of flavor. Highly recommended! The hot pot rice noodles also come with a great selection of fresh ingredients.I like it!

Quick place to get a bowl of noodle soup. Based on your criteria of hot pot I wouldn't consider this hot pot. The bowl of noodle soup was tasty though! Noodle were yummy and the broth was savory w complex flavors. Do not get level 3 spicy if you can't handle super spicy. I wish I got level 2 or 1. It's Szechuan pepper spicy. Mouth numbing goodness. It's quick. Inside the Jusgo supermarket complex amongst other food stalls. I enjoyed it. Non fussy.

Fish Fillet & Tomato Noodle

I've come here a few times for lunch when I wanted something tasty and fast. It is a small corner restaurant tucked inside of Jusgo in Sugar Land across from Mamak. There is very limited seating here but I have come with a group of six before and was able to be seated. Ordering is fairly straightforward with a few options and a create your own noodle section on the menu. I tried the Fish Fillet & Tomato Noodle the first time and although I went against my instincts of ordering something spicy, this had a very good flavor for not being spicy. It was an excellent dish to warm up my body on a cool winter day. The next time I came here, I ordered the Beef Tripe Hot Pot Noodle. I liked this one even more. Very spicy just like I like it! This one made me sweat. There is not a lot to say other than this is a solid place to enjoy a quick casual meal. It's a place to come in, expect quick service, eat and be on your way. Not really a place to hang out and visit. Definitely worth a try if you want hot pot without the extra wait and complexity you might find elsewhere.

Mini Hot Pot w/ Beef Belly

Spicy food heaven! My favorite noodle spot in Houston. The mini hot pot is a great value and is my favorite local comfort food. Much better than diy hot pot restaurant; each item has perfect doneness and the broth is ultra hot and spicy. I highly recommend the beef belly with the hot pot and I side of crispy pork.

Located right next to Jusgo in Sugar Land, inside of the mall. It is super convenient to grab your to-go order or sit down to have a quick meal after you finish your grocery shopping here. Food is ready within 10 minutes or less, service is great, and I love they added more varieties lately (rice dishes and noodles). The staff is from Chengdu, and I hear him speaking in Chengdu dialect with the chef too, you know it is authentic Sichuan food. The flavors of the dishes speak the authenticity itself as well. We have tried their rice dishes, hot pot noodles and mini hot pot, iced jelly, everything taste straight from Chengdu. Price is far more reasonable than takeouts from any Sichuan restaurant, it is like a Sichuan style Chipotle: quick, nutritious, delicious with reasonable price.

Pickled cabbage and beef belly noodle

Stepped into the restaurant and I could immediately smell the aromatic chili in the air which whet my appetite. Food came out fast and piping hot. I absolutely love the food here. Portion is generous and soup is flavorful. I had the pickled cabbage and beef belly noodles. Super yummy. The noodles are not spicy so I will be back to try the beef tripe hot pot noodle which has five chilies rating. Bingfen is delicious without being sweet. Love the idea of nuts in it which add some texture to the soft jelly. It is a good dessert to end the meal.

Very surprised by this little joint inside the JUSGO! I've had true chongqing noodles in chongqing and have never found anything comparable- this comes pretty close! Noodles are springy and flavors and lovely, very ma La and savory. Beef is super flavorful, only criticism is there isn't enough of the beef. Just a few small pieces. If there was more, this would be a complete home run. They have other dishes available, but these noodles are the main star! Food comes out pretty quickly.

Tripe mini hot pot with added noodles

I've been on a noodle and hot pot binge lately according to my kids but really that's all that's been opening. So have this place a try. I believe it's a nice hubby-wifey duo that run it. They didn't have any skewers in the day I went or the crispy pork appetizer but it's ok since I came for the other rated #1 items. Tripe mini hot pot- so you me if it's a hot pot it should have the flame and all. This was served in a regular noodle bowl. I got slightly spicy and it was . You've been warned! Mixed my kids noodles in it and realized I should have just got the tripe noodles instead. Hot pot is served with rice. My kids are my rice. Btw, the rice is a mix of steamed white rice and millet with a sprinkle of black sesame. Nice. Tomato fish noodle soup - good. Very . The kids ate most of it. I tossed some of my spicy soup in and I liked it. Bingfen - the dessert is jello with a mix of nuts. I liked it. Especially cooking after any spicy dish. Overall, was neat but not my style.

The foods here are very, very good! I ordered the beef tripe hotpot noodle, deep-fried pork belly, and beef potato curry with rice. The foods are very flavorful, and the broth in my individual hot pot is very good as well. I only had 1 chili pepper for the spicy level, and it's spicy enough for my taste. Definitely will come back for more to try other on the menu.

This is the best noodle place in Sugar Land, TX. I love the spicy noodle and my wife likes the pickle beef noodle.

Hot Pot Noodle, so addictive...
Reagan L.

This is the type of place you either love or hate to death...tbh I was not a big fan of Sichuan (Numb Spicy) food at all. But recently i found myself addictive to their noodles... have to get at least 1 ~ 2 bowls every week. As a Chinese, i can tell you that there's no other place in Houston you will be able to find duck blood this authentic, nor the hot pot soup base. Seriously worth a try if you are a big fan of Sichuan taste.

Very tasty!!! My friends and I tried different noodles and all taste super delicious and very classic Chongqing style!!We love this place!

Very heavy handed with salt even though the person in my party that placed the order specifically told the waitress to tone down on the salt. We also asked for no MSG but they turned to sugar instead so the dishes were a little altered beyond recognition. Specifically, I ordered their Szechuan peppercorn beef. As far as I know, this dish is always all savory and there should not be any sweetness. But, when I took the first bite, it was mildly sweet. Weird! Looks like for the rest of the dishes that has sauce, they used the same dark colored sauce; so, they tasted the same. Not a lot of imagination and creativity in their cooking. SERVICE: They are quite attentive in this area. So, I would give them 4 out of 5 stars in this area. VERDICT: Would I return? Probably not. When it comes to Chinese foods, the dishes need to be superior in their taste. You really need to have skills to survive as a Chinese restaurant.

My favorites were the bulgogi gimbap, eggroll (tiny rolled egg omelette), and chicken wings! They come out super hot - loved them all. The hot buffet bar was not filled at all, some were even just empty. I found it disappointing that we didn't get to try a lot of their items. The hot buffet bar was really scarce, I mean, just fried dumplings and fries but they were refilled really slow and some never had refills. The boba bar was empty and never filled. The DIY ramen station was closed off. I tipped only because I felt like I had to, but the service was abysmal. I would come back but maybe for lunch instead of dinner. Hopefully service improves.

Whether it was weekend dim sum or an evening Canto feast with fresh seafood, I was simply thankful for the option. Now that option is toast since Regal closed last month. Looks can be deceiving. The exterior makes me think of a fitness joint more so than a Cantonese spot. Stepping inside is a complete contrast, with a mix of specialty murals, modern decor with a contemporary edge. There were plenty of large group tables, which made this place perfectly ideal for a feast gathering. Bathrooms were also clean, but this is the only place I've seen that had ice cubes all the urinals. (#1) Dim Sum was solid. The highlights for me were their stir fried XO rice rolls, which had a nice char and some good flavor. The Malay style rolls were also suprrisingly good and I felt strongly about their bbq pork puffs, durian rolls, and glutinous pork dumplings shaped to look like pears. The shrimp dumplings, beef balls, and spare ribs were average at best, I was also very impressed with their overall variety and the fact they had an extremely defined picture menu. The Canto speaking staff was friendly and the parking was plentiful. While the food wasn't all a hit, I do think there was some potential, which was not realized in the end. I am sincerely hoping another Canto spot will emerge in the Land of Sugar. __________ (#1) Yes, really.

Price - for dim sum, we've paid roughly $26/person, but that included tax and tips. So that amount is arbitrary. It depends on how many dishes you may order, and keep in mind that we had a lot of left over food though. We also had a whole duck in this price, so not your typical dim sum order. I imagine it would be less if we would just stick to dim sum only. 3. Ambiance - this place is industrial looking. Modern and pretty hip. It's not massive. Not sure if it's the same owner as the previous Regal on 59. But it's a smaller footprint than the previous location. Dress code here is casual. 4. Food - I will say that the dim sum here is legit Hong Kong style dim sum. This is delicious and not greasy. I really like their CHA-SIU-BAO (BBQ Pork Buns), HA-GAO (shrimp dumplings), SIU-MEI (Pork and Shrimp dumplings), and Egg Tarts. Because it was our first time there, we wanted to try out their roast duck. It is also very authentically made. There are definitely other dishes that were good too, but these were the few worth mentioning. 5. Cleanliness - Dining area appears clean. SUMMARY - I recommend this place and will likely return for more dim sum in the future.

That combination is harder to find than you'd think, and they execute both perfectly. The food is consistently excellent. The chicken fried rice deserves special mention--when you order it, be prepared for a massive portion. It comes piled high on the plate in a huge, rounded mound, and it's very good.
