Service and food were good. I had the veggie bowl and subbed the baba for grilled mushrooms. Sweet potatoes were cooked too hard tho, the skin was inedible. There weren't many people there, but most ordered from the digital screens. This was my first time and I was excited, but was so turned off when I saw a HUGE roach crawling on the wall behind the register. One of the ladies that helped us place our order grabbed a broom and hit it off the wall like it was nothing. This definitely made me feel like it's something that happens often. Beyond disappointed with my experience, the two ladies that were working the register were really nice, but the food to me was not worth the price even with the discount that I received. I opted for the build your own bowl, I was pleased by the wide selection of options but when I got my bowl, I just was not satisfied with the steak, it was fatty and I ended up discarding most of it. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by some of the workers who were very friendly and helpful! I got the blazing chicken bowl. It came with spicy chicken coated in sauce, all the raw veggies, bed of trio color quinoa which was a lot and not in proportion to the veggies and proteins and some kinda sauce on the side. Loved all the ingredients especially the jalapeños for a little spice. When I arrived I was surprised to find out it was in one of those ghost kitchens. I got a message that my order was ready and it was as simple as hitting a link that opened the locker with my order. This has to be one of the best bowl meals I've had in a while! The ingredients were fresh, the fried onions were crispy and the steak was well seasoned and very savory. Not sure what the sauce was that came with it but I'm happy I got an extra one because it was tasty as well. I've ordered delivery from here twice. Yesterday I got the Pineapple Express bowl & the chips with queso. The bowl was delicious, the flavors went so well together, textures complimented each other. The jalapeño added a nice spice to it in contrast to the pineapple and corn and the cilantro like sauce was the cherry on top! The chips were not oily and nicely fried, there's was nothing spectacular about the queso. (Pic attached) Today I ordered the "Smoke in a Bowl" bowl, it tasted really good and had that smoke flavor that you can taste. The cabbage complimented the bowl quite nicely surprisingly. I wish they put more brisket, I had to savor my brisket which was not fun. I did not try the ranch with it (don't like ranch) so I ordered the spicy Korean BBQ dressing on the side to substitute but then when I tried a lil, it messed up the bowl so I decided to put it in the fridge. I ended up getting the Mediterranean OG Bowl, and WOW I was super impressed by all the ingredients, the flavors are amazing and worked so well together.
