I called Joe Marianachi to give us cc an estimate on a replacement of a Plumbing item, 1st and foremost he gave me a high estimate over my budget and what normal install would cost as a replacement, not new construction. I mentioned other estimates and he kindly agreed to do the job for a bit over other estimates. I agreed to I the price as he is local. I than called him to give me an estimate on paper or e mailed he stated it was a small job and it is not necessary. I than called again a week later advising him that I will need an estimate. He stated again that he will not issue an estimate, I told him that I really would like to see him do the job and if he does not provide the estimate than I do not know if we will go ahead with having him do the job, he stated that he is okay with that and ended the call. read more

I have dealt with many, many, many electricians, plumbers and construction professionals over numerous years. This company provided the worst service I ever experienced and was INCREDIBLY overpriced. Joe the owner was gruff and rude when I asked him any questions regarding the progress of his work. I requested a simple replacement of two faucets, one in a bathroom and one in a kitchen. I requested that the shower faucet and shower head be replaced as well. All the needed replacement fixtures were purchased by me beforehand. I was told that in order to replace the shower faucet there would need to be minor sheet-rock work in opening a small area behind the shower wall. I declined to have that done. Joe began polishing and cleaning the shower fixture which I never asked him to do (this added 30 more minutes to the bill) I was then told the amount for this work would be just under $1000.00. To be honest I was beyond shocked and just paid him. I'm ashamed that I did. Frankly I just wanted Joe and his helper out of the house. 2 hours after they left the sink in the bathroom was leaking. I turned the water off and called Joe 3 times over the next hour leaving a voice message explains the situation without a return call. He answered my call on the 4 th try and he returned I hour later. He changed the drain part on the bathroom sink with his own part and charged another $300.00. He then informed me that the drain in the sink was clogged and that he would return to use his snake to clear the drain as he did not have the tool available.... Joe then told me that this would be another $300.00 (I ASKED FOR AN INVOICE THAT DAY FOR THE WORK ALREADY DONE AND RECEIVED IT TODAY (5 days later) and only after I requested it 4 times. The amount of money that I foolishly paid southeast plumbing is OBSCENE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS INDIVIDUAL AND HIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. Our well pump stop working yesterday morning and we called everyone listed Service Company and no one was able to respond until we got Joe on the phone. I could clearly hear him ask a customer would she let him come back on Wednesday so he could help us as we were without water. Thankfully she said yes and he drove one hour to us. He found out pump needed to be replaced. So he needed to get parts and return early today. He arrived early today set up to work and within a few hours we have water! Then the homeowner called and explained the situation and he then hung up on her. Then after a few more phone attempts by me, Joe said "I'm NOT coming over there" and hung up again. Our water heater broke down yesterday morning and I called Southeast Plumbing and Heating. Joe picked up the phone, quoted a fair price and promised to come the next morning the latest. He and his brother came as promised today, both wearing masks. They were friendly and completed the job in a very professional way. Just in a couple of hours, we got hot water back. I woke to a cold shower. The hot water heater stopped working after nine years. By mid-afternoon same day my wife was able to take a hot shower. Joe, from Southeast Plumbing, was responsive to our needs. Purchased and installed a new natural gas, power vented, 50 gallon water heater.
