Great food, great service and a stunning view from the patio seating. We enjoyed lunch two different days, and bith times really enjoyed it. Fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese deviled eggs, fish taco, seafood gumbo, and more.

We came in for dinner as part of a very large group. We had a cocktail hour first with servers coming through with appetizers. We had a set menu that consisted of a salad, an entree with a filet Mignon and crab cake with vegetables and a decadent triple layer chocolate cake. All very tasty. The servers did an amazing job. Friendly and responsive. We had a great night and a wonderful experience.

Whenever we stay at the Cloister, this is one of our favorite places to eat. Seating is available indoor and outdoor. We love sitting outside with the view of the beach. Service is always top notch and the food is fantastic! My husband loves burgers and sweats that the burgers here are the best. It was a perfect medium-rare, topped with pimento cheese, crispy fried green tomatoes, and bacon jam. Our order of Smashed Avocado Dip (guacamole) came with a large bowl of warm chips and slices of watermelon radish. I ordered the pea tendrils salad with goat cheese and blackened shrimp. Everything was excellent!

This is a restaurant inside the Beach Club at Sea Island Resort. We had spent some time at the pool & the beach and decided to eat before we went back to the main resort. Jennifer & Danny were nice & friendly when we sat down at the bar area. Danny was great discussing drinks with us and waiting on us, great service! The seafood tower was fun and so fresh!

The view of the beach while eating at this restaurant is amazing. It is also nice to see all the chefs working on your dish soon as you order as they have a partially open kitchen. Staffs are nice. No reservation needed for brunch. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays at the time of our stay Food is good and well prepared. Their servings are big. The kids menu offer a decent selection and a good size. The shrimp tacos was absolutely awesome!! One of the best we had by far. The a la diabla platter is basically shrimp and grits with a bonus of scallops. The shrimps were huge. The scallops were cooked well but was a bit pungent for my taste. Will come back next time we visit to try their other specials

First time eating here, as it was also my first time in Sea Island. We had reservations for outdoor seating, which were adhered to right away. Loved the open air, outdoor seating & view! However, the food was not all that great in my opinion, but I heard the fish tacos are great! I went with four other ladies for lunch around 1pm. To start off we had the pimento cheese deviled eggs...none of the ladies liked them as there was too much cheese on them. I am a cheese lover, therefore I didn't mind but I wish we had gone with the fried green tomatoes. The pimento cheese was all you could taste. Entree-wise, I went with the Caesar salad topped with salmon. I was very much looking forward to a homemade Caesar salad but found that the dressing was not homemade. I would've loved the anchovies puréed into a homemade dressing but not only was the dressing not homemade, the anchovies were whole and lying under my salmon, where they got warm and too fishy tasting. Loved the amount of shaved parm on the salad but it didn't taste freshly shaved but rather store bought &/or of not great quality. I will say the salmon was delicious. It was cooked to perfection & well seasoned. I'd give my meal a 2 but bc of the vibe, I'm giving it a 3. I'm thinking there are a couple of 4-5 star meals & apps on their menu, but unfortunately I didn't choose the right ones.

This would be the best lunch spot at Sea Island, right by the beach club! We enjoyed cinco de Mayo dinner there and it was quite busy, but Miles took care of us well. The food was good all around but the carnitas were too salty and I had to pick around a lot of fat. Really enjoyed the street corn and the margaritas!

Likely least favorite place at resort as maybe fancy places should not try down home food like shrimp and grits and gumbo. View of water gorgeous but better during lunch where get the bar food that they can do.

The seating was plush and comfortable and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you enjoy your own conversation without hearing everyone else's at the same time- a big plus in my book. Our server, Cameron, took the best care of us, answering questions and making suggestions that ensured everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. They offer a happy hour for cocktails and small plates even on Saturday which we all took advantage of! Between the group we sampled a large portion of the menu and the only thing we didn't LOVE was the steak Kushiyaki (skewered grilled meat). The steak was too tough and smoky for our tastes, but every other dish and drink we would absolutely recommend! Some standouts were the Szechuan noodles, the salmon and Hamachi crudo, the tuna tartare and surprisingly? The burger and fries! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

My wife started with a glass of wine and I had an old-fashioned. The wine was a Zwiegelt and a decent pour which was nice and dry. I enjoyed the old-fashioned which was nicely presented but on regular cubes. We ordered a number of items off the HH menu, including the shaved Brussels sprouts salad, black bean tlacoyos, a short rib torta, and the Dorothy burger and fries. The torta was tasty but small. I'd pass on the tlacoyos but it was fine. We also ordered a fresh salmon belly off the raw bar menu which was my favorite and very tasty and would definitely order again. This was a nice experience and would try again. I'd rate at a 4.4 if Yelp scoring allowed it. Check it out.

Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.

Maybe they only take reservations by phone, even though it is 2026, but it should say something to that effect on their website. It was evident they preferred reservations and said they were packed but there were plenty of tables unseated. The table we were seated at, was very wobbly. Which is an annoying thing that is easily fixed. I will say that the bread and the marinated saladswere both very good and our baked potatoes were perfect but that's where it ends. My son got the filet and my husband got the ribeye. They both ordered medium rare but both were well done and chewy. We did not say anything to our waitress or complain bc we are just not those kind people but it was disappointing to say the least. A steak place that has been in business for as long a they have should have perfected their steaks, I got the grilled chicken and when it came, I thought they had brought me fried chicken by mistake. I was expecting a grilled chicken breast (my mistake for assuming) but it was 4 pieces of what appeared to be smoked chicken on the bone. They were pretty tasty but felt like something I would get at a bbq restaurant, not a steak house. Needless to say, we will not be back.
