The Lunch Special is superb. You get a soup, rice portion and main meal for under $10 and I don't skimped of my money. Great Portion Size and Great Flavoring. I just wish the delivery didn't have a minimum and that it would be faster. Great food! Great prices for a kosher restaurant! Overall pleased and recommend this place. However when I went tonight, the girl behind the counter was wearing a t-shirt that read "do8n't be an asshole". Well, my daughter who is learning to read asked me what an asshole is. Ii like the lunch special - it's reasonable; I just ensure they don't add MSG - I like low sodium. I also like the scallion pancakes - too soggy though. I like the Dim Sum with meat - you must eat them hot / warm; not as good re-heated. I also tried & liked the beef dumplings - pan fried , and finally the house special soup with meat & chicken - pretty good; I just ask not to use MSG. Food is fine but their customer service is HORRIBLE. There is always an issue with the order and the management couldn't seem to care at all. I work in a school nearby and like having the option of having a kosher chinese spot, but I won't be coming here often. The people are nice but the price is too high for me and the delivery minimum is too high for Chinese food that is just on par with the other local Chinese spots. Coming from Chicago I was looking for some fantastic chinese. On a whim I stumbled upon Soysauce on Main St in Queens. I was not disappointed. Fabulous dim sum, amazing crunchy beef and even the rice was perfectly cooked! Highly recommend for Kosher and non Kosher lovers alike. read more

I can see the need for specialized Chinese food, but this isn't the only game in town, and it's not good. I can't really give it a two-star, because the only reason to eat here would be if you need food to be kosher, Chinese, and delivery within a specific area. The food itself was definitely 'off' both in comparison to American-Chinese food and Chinese-Chinese food. The food at Chopsticks is the tastiest "kosher" Chinese food that I have ever eaten. The portion size is generous and it should be for the price. The $7 lunch specials are a good way to sample this place. read more

Very excited by the notion of gluten free chinese food, however what I received was subpar. Ordered the beef with mixed vegetables lunch special which they say comes with rice. What they don't say is that this is mostly rice with a few pieces of soggy beef and some vegetable. The rice was horrendous, no flavor, clumpy, and cold with what appeared to be pieces of tofu in it which was definitely not mentioned on the menu. The beef and mixed vegetables was warm but soggy and oily. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon as the food is subpar and therefore not worth the money. read more

I had purchased a Groupon for Soy Sauce and got take-out. When i opened the steaming hot dish i wasn't impressed with the way it looked but it was DELICIOUS! Also the brown rice was perfectly cooked and soft. Very pleasantly impressed overall for a small kosher take-out joint. read more

Very good service, good food, and nice respectful employees who are patient and do the work they have to do. Get lunch here! The spring rolls are nice. They get pretty busy with calls and sometimes catering (obviously since they are good) but they are honest and will let you know when things would be ready, which usually isn't that long anyways. There are some bar stools to sit but it is pretty small so takeout is the best. read more

Not the greatest Chinese food around, but a pretty cool place to stop in and check out. 2 visits so far, September 2015. The (1) Mongolian Beef was actually more "alpine" than "so so." The (2) Grilled Vegetables were filling. (Don't forget to stop by nearby "Mendy's Bakery" for dessert afterwards!) And the portions are pretty good for the money. 55//SS//66 have a personal, "masculine," numerological significance for me also, me and my "warship." I ordered without a menu but had tasted the samples provided on the street in weeks past, I thought it good enough to check out. The street sample of empress chicken was flavorful. Ordering was simple, they seemed competent. Price was ridiculous, $15 for a combo special. Delivery was fast, like 15 mins, but the guy calls and asks me to come outside. Huh? Its a delivery!!. So I have to walk downstairs and outside (live in an apt bldg) to get my food. Nevertheless, when I open it up there is a great deal of food. The problem is, it wasn't good. Lack of flavor in the spring roll, it was totally bland. The combo order was general tso's, that was horribly bland. The food was fresh, no problem with old ingredients, just overall not good. If they don't improve then this review won't matter because they will be out of business soon. They need to lower their prices and improve their food asap. I gave 2 stars instead on 1 because the service was ok (albeit lazy delivery guy) and the food was fresh and not revolting, it was just totally bland and over priced, but I wanted to be fair. read more
