With the plethora of choices available in Haleiwa, the decision of what's for lunch is never easy! I felt like Italian food and found Spaghettini on yelp. From the outside it isn't much, just a shop front with covered outdoor seating. It's worth it to mention that the outdoor seating there was significantly cooler than the seats outside most of the other little trucks. I was expecting bottled tourist trap Italian food, but was pleasantly surprised! The chicken Alfredo I ordered was excellent. It was almost reminiscent of comfort food. Full of flavor and just a hint of home. The garlic bread that was included with the meal had so much flavor. Hale'iwa is a cool town with plenty of places to eat. If you are in the mood for a slice or want some Italian food this is the place to go. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. I have been to this establishment quite a few times and have tried mutiple items on the menu at different points in the year. At peak season do mot expect instant meals... its Hawaii chill a bit. With that said the service has always been good. Now lets talk slices... You get a good selection from vegitarian types to throw some meat on top selections. No wait for food when we went and tables were clean. Staff was AMAZINGLY friendly!! I loved them! I enjoyed my spaghettini with meatballs (mini) and it was enough for me to take half the meal home, the hubby enjoyed his massive lasagna but didn't really love all the extra sauce that it was literally drowning in... but no worries because I love tons of sauce so I just scooped up all his extra sauce lol! Our kiddo got a mini shrimp Alfredo and he really enjoyed it but he loves all things pasta or seafood so I knew it would be a win. Love this place! Every time we are in Haleiwa town we stop for some quick pasta and bruschetta. We usually get our food to go and head down to the beach. Their website states that they serve 'New York style pizza' which in my experience is not correct. The crust is crisp and crunchy where NY style is largely soft and floppy. Regardless, this is definitely TASTY pizza and the slices are a generous size. My only (minor) complaint is that the slices could have just a bit more sauce. read more

Whenever I visit the north shore, I usually stop at this restaurant for pizza. However, they are currently not allowing customers to use their bathrooms. So, It is ok for them to take my money but it is not ok for me to use their restrooms? This will be the last time they get my business. COVID is the new excuse to not let customers use the restrooms. I originally ordered a shrimp fettuccine pasta but they gave me garlic shrimp (picture.) When we are on the North Shore, this place is definitely one of our stops. We head out in the morning for the beach, catch some Romys shrimp for lunch, but you know for dinner it's always the handmade pizzas from Spaghettini. The meats and the veggies are fresh and distributed evenly amongst the pizza. I could compare it to a Sbarro or Boston's but of WAY better quality. They have pre-made slices of different types of pizza or you could even make your own. The pasta is okay but wouldn't recommend it. It has always been watery for us when ordering it with the seafood or lacking in flavor when ordered with the chicken. So we stick to what we know best. The pizza hands down. It is BYOB which works out for the adults and we bring our own drinks for the kids too to alleviate the cost. There is only outside seating and every time we have gone we never had to wait to sit. Pleasantly surprised! Stopped here after an evening of wandering around Haleiwa. Have passed it a hundred times but finally decided to make a move. I got the cheese ravioli with spinach mushroom alfredo and it was delish! I'm not even really a huge fan of mushrooms but I ate everything bathed in the amazing alfredo sauce. So cheesy...and in a multiple kind of cheese cheesiness. The portions are large and sitting out on their small lanai was nice. The husband got the spaghetti and meatballs and was pleased. Being raised in NJ, you grow up surrounded by italian pizzerias and restaurants. They are like starbucks, they are at every corner. So when I relocated to Hawaii, naturally pizzerias would be not as popular so the search for good pizza can be challenging. The line hugs the counter and there are only a couple tables as seating, which we didn't expect since we thought there were more inside. We planned on taking all our food to go when a table for 6 opened up and we sat down. Service: We ordered our food first out of the group of 4 other people we were with but our food took the longest...not sure why, but i'm pretty sure they forgot about us. My husband and the other men said the people at the counter were nice and friendly though. What we ordered: Chicken alfredo, large pizza, half pepperoni and half of the supreme. Others in the group ordered the shrimp alfredo, chicken marinara, shrimp marinara and a salad. Overall after trying everyones dishes and after everyone had a slice of pizza we all agree that the best dish from here was by far the chicken alfredo, if I was in the area and I needed some quick food, i'd get that. The pizza was okay, and decently priced but when we took it home, it did not hold up well when reheated and tasted better that first day. The other pastas the group had were decent but not good enough to eat again. As we are trying to eat at every single spot in Haleiwa, I'm not sure as a group if we would go back, the price was more than moderate and there is no seating. I stopped by here a couple weeks ago when I was on the North Shore to pick up dinner on the way to a friend's house. When I was growing up we spent a few summers at a beach house on the North Shore and I remember this being one of the kid's favorites. It's a walk up window with some tables outside, perfect for the Haleiwa vibe. Since it was a rainy day I figured some pasta would be perfect and ordered the vegetarian marinara x2 (portions were huge! 3 of us shared one and didn't even touch the second one) as well as two pieces of pizza. The girl working at the front was very nice and everyone who was working there had big smiles. The experience was very pleasant. I'm docking a star because they forgot the garlic bread even though I asked twice if it was in my bag and they said it was. I assumed it was in the same box as the pasta but that wasn't the case. Also, the sauce just good but not great. Maybe I'm spoiled by my dad's homemade spaghetti that he makes or from living in New York for a year but I just wasn't impressed. The pizza was okay. However, while I was waiting for my food, everyone who ordered a whole pizza made me wish I had ordered that because it looked delicious fresh made from the oven so maybe I shouldn't have ordered the ones that were sitting in the window by the slice. While I didn't have the most amazing experience most recently. My husband and I are Spaghettini regulars. We make a point of stopping there on day trips to the North Shore. Why? 1. Value. Huge slices with fresh toppings, reasonably priced sides and beverages (they don't sell adult beverages, but you can brown bag it at the grocery store right next door--just ask for a bottle opener and cups at the counter) 2. Convenience. It's easy and accessible, with ample parking right there. We rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes to place our order, and the food comes out piping hot with very little waiting. 3. Service. Really nice staff, always friendly no matter how busy they get. And they don't seem to get rattled by special requests (yes, we like our fries extra crispy). Even though it's basically take-out, they always make the effort to walk out the back door, around the side of the building, and bring your food to your table. It would be so easy for them just to call your number and have you come up to the window to get your food. But they don't, and we like that kind of go-the-extra-mile attentiveness. 4. Ambiance. Best people watching, day or night. Yes, there is traffic going by, but it creeps along at a pace that allows for some real insight into the comings and goings of both tourists and locals alike. Lovely sunsets, just a nice vibe. Is it fine dining? No. Is it the best pizza we've ever had? No. (Hello, we're not in NYC, folks). Does it work for us? Absolutely. Why 4 stars instead of 5? We have had amazing pizza, and this is not it. Good, but not amazing. If that changes, we will definitely upgrade it to 5 stars. read more

Wow. My wife ordered the Alfredo raviolis and Iotderee chicken Alfredo. The sauce was rich, FRESH, creamy and had a nice garlicky bite. Raviolis were great. The pizza is the best pizza I've had since I left the east coast 4 years ago. Fresh dough that has a nice crunch, it wasn't soggy or greasy whatsoever and I got a pepperoni lol.
