We have live music during happy hour on Tuesday & Wednesday from 5-7PM

Can you hear the music on Sunday through out the restaurant?

There’s a good chance that when we have a live show you will be able to hear the music throughout the restaurant to some degree. However, the only way to guarantee to see or hear a show is to a buy a ticket!

No Spumoni. We have mango sorbet and vanilla ice cream. Our Pastry Chef does several scratch made desserts. The Crème Brûlée is given complimentary with a Yelp check in.

Is there a kids menu for brunch?

Not sure if there is a kids menu per se however when we are there my husband and I usually see kids dining with their families and Spaghettini is very accommodating so I imagine they have something tasty for the kids.

It wasn't even close to full. They're clearly holding people outside on purpose to create fake hype, which is honestly pretty messed up. You're telling me dozens of people are stuck waiting forever while there's plenty of room inside? It's giving manufactured crowd and poor management. To make it worse, they stopped serving drinks and turned the lights on at 1:15 AM, way earlier than literally any normal bar. So after wasting hours in line, you barely even get time inside. And it somehow gets worse -- at 1:35 AM they were literally kicking people out of the restroom. We weren't even allowed to finish or wash our hands before being rushed out. That's not just rude, it's straight up unhygienic and disrespectful. Overall, completely overhyped, disorganized, and not worth the wait at all. Don't fall for the line -- it's fake.

The security guard asked extremely inappropriate questions like "aren't you a lady?" and "what bathroom do you usually use?". Anytime my boyfriend responded, he yelled more and threatened to kick him out. This was a deeply upsetting situation. We were there for a friend's birthday and we left immediately after the incident. We definitely will NOT be returning to the Blind Donkey. We also suggest our queer and trans friends and community avoid this place too! The Blind Donkey needs to do better with educating and welcoming people of all genders. For good karaoke in a queer & trans friendly place, we recommend Silver Fox!

False Advertising and Total Failure of a "Speakeasy"…read more This place should not call itself a speakeasy. According to their website, they are strict about dress code, reservations, and no large parties. None of that was enforced. People arrived wearing sports clothes, tennis shoes, and flip-flops, and a group of more than 10 people was allowed in. That group was loud, drunk, and screaming, completely destroying any speakeasy ambiance. We had a reservation booked one week in advance for 2 tables of six, yet by 8:30 pm, we were told no food was available, despite the bar being almost empty. The water was already on the table when we arrived and tasted strongly of chlorine, with no ice. The waitress was clearly new, untrained, and unprepared. She did not know the menu, didn't know how to take an order properly, and provided no guidance whatsoever. There was one bartender Ricardo, who took over an hour to prepare cocktails and showed no sense of urgency or care. The dramatic cocktail descriptions sounded impressive, but the drinks did not match the descriptions at all. Because of the delays, we were never even able to properly toast or celebrate our friend. The charcuterie board took forever and arrived with an absurd amount of cheese and only six pieces of bread. To make things worse, part of the food we ordered never arrived at all. The live jazz band advertised and promised never showed up. When asked, the staff responded with: "I don't know, they were supposed to be here. I don't have their phone number." That level of disorganization is unacceptable. At the end of the night, we were shocked to receive a check close to $600 for two tables, despite each person only having one cocktail and shared food. The bartender, Ricardo, approached us and said: "Well, sorry, we really tried tonight! It wasn't the best, but we tried." Honestly, that comment made the experience even more frustrating. I can't imagine how bad it would have been if they hadn't "tried."That statement perfectly summarizes the problem -- trying is not enough when everything fails. I would not recommend this place for a speakeasy experience. This is not a speakeasy. It's a poorly run bar hiding behind a concept it does not deliver. Do not recommend.

However, the amount of people seemed light on a Fri night around 6-7 pm. Our waiter Jason and the rest of the team were super nice & attentive. We received fresh plates and steak knives (we ordered a second steak later during the meal). I'd return for a good time w/ a large group. The place accommodates big parties well, and the service is really good. Nonetheless, keep in mind the food is hit & miss, and the prices are on the high side.

I ordered it medium rare and was cooked perfectly. Steak was seasoned well and was quite tasty. I had a good first visit with my coworkers so came back again this weekend to try some of lunch items. The lunch items my family and I ordered weren't as good as I expected. Beach House Burger was just ok. It could've used more seasoning on the beef patty because it tasted rather bland. Burger had arugula, tomato, red onions, cheddar cheese, and some house sauce. Fish & Chips was good but tasted pretty standard. Skillet Corn Bread tasted ok but too dry, even with whipped butter and honey. Service has been good both times I was here, and the location is great because it's right by the beach. Patio area always seems to get packed because everyone wants to get a view of the beach, but you can still get a decent view from the inside. I will definitely return but will stick with breakfast items in the future. There is a paid parking lot right by the restaurant, which is currently $3 per hour, but you can find street parking in the nearby residential area. Just make sure you pay attention to parking signs. Most of them have 1 hour limit, which isn't long enough to dine here.

It was only when we entered the gate where the hostess is that we saw a small sign that said, "Closed." WAIT WHAT???? No indication in the parking lot, no sign at the sidewalk, no sign walking down the walk way. The ONLY notice was buried around a corner saying Closed. We were told they were short staffed and had to close early, sorry. As we walked back to the car, we stopped at least 4 other cars and told them the restaurant was closed. We were able to alert them so they did not pay for parking at a CLOSED restaurant. It felt like the restaurant had NO consideration for the customers. To have NO sign anywhere near where customers would be parking to notify us of a totally unexpected, unanticipated, highly unusual CLOSING at 4 pm for a restaurant that was supposed to be open until 10 pm!!!!! So I called from my car in the parking lot and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager got on he explained that they were short staffed and had to close early. I discussed the lack of notice to customers and how we paid for 2 hours of beach parking. Manager was nice and polite and totally unresponsive to the fact we paid money to visit his restaurant and now had no where to eat and were out the parking fees. I recommended they post a notice where customers could see they were closed BEFORE we paid for our parking. He said they would do it after they finished closing out. I insisted it was only fair that they notified their customers FIRST. So, as we were leaving we saw an employee come out and post a sign. I took a photo because no one would believe how inadequate their posting was if I just described it. The sign is micro small. You can see our car at the bottom of the photo. Would you notice this CLOSED sign? Come on Beach House. We know you can do better for your customers.
