Joke... What a total JOKE of a company. I ordered via COSTCO a water system for my home. 3 weeks later i am still waiting. They decided on delivery dates between themselves and no joke, they do not call to tell you until AFTER the fact. Then they have the nerve to call and tell you "Mam, our delivery driver is out side your apartment and no one is home!" Errrr, You don't say SHERLOCK!! How about you call and let me know you were even coming! They have no damn sense between the lot of them. Furthermore, they only deliver MON- FRI between 9am-5pm. Isn't that normal working hours? I signed up to Sparkletts through Costco 3 years ago and I left work early and another time went in late to try to meet up with the delivery driver for my first delivery.....They missed the appointment and day....3 times. So I've been a happy Pureflo customer for 3 years.... until Sparkletts, Aka DS Waters from Georgia...took over Pure Flo. The first delivery was later in the month than my Pureflo delivery day...okay, I guess I can understand not matching the other company's delivery....but I ran out of water just one day before DS Water's first delivery day....guess what? No show and no contact on Friday, July 20. So I went to the 7/11 to buy water... in addition to my delivery water monthly bill..ugh! I called Sparkletts the next day and the agent said he'd set up the delivery "first thing Monday" and the route manager would call me that same day (Saturday) to confirm. No and no....no call and no delivery on Monday. I got a call late in the afternoon Monday. Their truck broke down. Uh huh.... These guys never keep their word. Only two things you need in the water delivery business - clean water and reliable delivery. DS Water has trouble with the whole delivery part of the equation. Oh and two of the three phone agents were polite and professional (the third rushed me and had no apologies for my troubles), but the first time I called, I waited on hold for 31 minutes before talking to someone. I'll try Silver Springs Water...they have a good rating and deliver to my area. Does anyone know if Silver Springs water has the drinking water with minerals added back in, for taste? read more

I recommend that YOU DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE. Their delivery men have missed SEVERAL deliveries, despite their automated system calling a day ahead to remind customers. They DO NOT DELIVER when they say they will do so. Significantly, they bill for services they do not deliver, and then want to refer you to Collections when you have a valid complaint. The company delivery schedule is not reliable. My house did NOT receive any bottle of water for 4 scheduled date! We have been out of water for over a month. When I called, I found that my account was deactivated by them without any notice. After reactivating the account and requesting water delivery asap two weeks ago, I still received no water yet. read more

The customer service for this company is awful! I work for a Home Care agency in La Jolla. The water dispenser broke and we tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with someone to come and either fix or replace it. We could never get through to anyone because they're automated system was down. We had to go out and buy water from the store just so that we had water in our building. When we finally got a hold of someone, they sent someone out to pick it up a week after we asked them that we wanted to cancel services. We ended up going with another water delivery company and have been very happy with their customer service. When the guy came to pick up the dispenser, we told him why we cancelled service and he really didn't care. read more

Horrible service. Sparkletts rarely delivers as scheduled, constantly delivers the incorrect orders and has overcharged my bill twice since I started my account in November of 2015. Don't even count on calling customer service because you will be on hold for about an hour and they won't know any information about your account. My family and I have been a customer of Sparkletts for a year now. We have run into a few problems with their payment system and sometimes rude customer service representatives but nothing more. Until the water started making me sick about a month ago. I thought maybe I was wrong but after I gave my friend a glass of water today he immediately told me he felt sick and had to lay down. I will be canceling tomorrow and I suggest you switch to another company. read more

I agree with the other posts. I wish Yelp had negative stars for business reviews. I also agree with the the other reviewers. My problems started when I moved my business location. They failed on several occasions to pick up their equipment. I then moved to the new location and in frustration with this company canceled the service. I was then expecting the final service billing and also some sort of communications for final pickup of the equipment. Instead I received a bill several months later from a collection agency. I had 9 empty water bottles that turned into a $200 bill for non-return!! I then returned them and received a ~$50 credit. Now owing $150 in added on fees. So here is my recommendation: 1.) Check out PureFlo or Arrowhead instead. Sparklets customer service is *REALLY* bad 2.) Buy a water cooler from Craigslist - there are some good vendors out there that have NEW coolers. Terrible Custer service...was told per contract I had 3 days to cancel service. Was not delivered the correct amount of free water per contact and no one called to set up delivery. Came home one day to find water (1) delivered to my door. Called to cancel service and was charged a little over 8 dollars to cancel service for water that was never even used plus was supposed to be free per contract. I had Sparkletts drinking water delivered to my home biweekly. If I was actually lucky enough to get my delivery! When I would call customer service to see when I would get my delivery..they were of little help. Truly my whole experience through this company was a joke. After almost a year of dealing with missed deliveries and long waits for customer service on the phone(somewhere in Florida and I live in SoCal!)..I finally gave up. I started services with Palomar Mountain Spring Water and I'm very happy with them. And it costs less!!! read more

As many on this thread are posting, I also am an executive membership at COSTCO since 2000. I was interested in water delivery since my kids use so much plastic bottled water and it had become a hassle to continuely buy individual bottled water. I was roped in by a SPARKLETTS water sales person and was pleased with the ease of signing up and delivery and installation. This is now where everything goes bad, very bad! Delivery is not regular nor is it scheduled for repeat dates and times. They call you to set up a delivery and usually show up and only leave what you put out, so if you put out one, they leave one. They usually leave it in the sun as many of you have mentioned. I have tried and tried to contact them over the phone but all i get is we are busy!! No SHIT? So am I!!! While I'm writing this review I have been on hold 34min listening to them advertise themselves. The company decided to pick up last wednesday and neglected to leave our drop off. After an hour on the phone someone guaranteed we would have water that friday. Friday came and went no water, so after all all the phone calls and time wasted along with poor customer service I have decided to call and cancel my service permanently. We tried to cancel the day before and the Rep we finally got ahold of was less than enthusiastic and transferred us to someone who was suppose to help us cancel, an hour later still no answer so I hung up. As a manager at a very large corporation I have no less than 500 employees at a given time I find it very frustrating that the level of service I have received is below par! I finally got through and was able to vocalize my distaste for their customer service hoping my conversation would be recorded and reviewed for future costumer relation and service. The Rep had no problem canceling, made BS apologies for their lack of service and didn't even try to make things right by offering next day delivery and comping us for our inconvenience. She didn't even know why my water was not delivered on wednesday and then again on friday. She just canceled my account and asked if there was anything else she could do for me? Seriously, I got corporates number from the customer Rep 1-770-933-1400 and will be calling them monday to ask why the lack of concern for my satisfaction, why didn't I get my water, why doesn't the deliveries and pick ups happen on a scheduled basis and lastly why is it so hard to communicate with a customer service Rep in the first place? My advice to most of you, go to the local swapmeet, buy a cooler and a couple bottles all for under $100 and refill them yourselves for $5.00 a month! read more

We used Sparkletts Water for over a decade. The company went through many ownership changes (McKesson, Danone Water, DS Water). When they were a local company, service was great. But since going national, service is below BAD! Their answering service center is in TX or FL. They evidently use electronic communication between the service center and the local office (which you cannot talk to directly). Too much falls through the cracks! The local guys have no clue what the issues are. Stay away from this company. There are other bottled water delivery service available in San Diego, thankfully. read more

Sparkletts water PLEASE avoid this service, bad customer service, They usually are @Costco given you a good economical prices w promises that its the best service. UNTRUE they are not even in SD Had service for almost 2 years 1-After one year they increased price w out letting me know. When I called they said "oh promotion its over" they never mentioned it when I signed for water services 2- After only 9 months device broke! it took 2 weeks for them to bring a new cooler, they never even deducted cost for 2 weeks of unused water 3- After increased price I kept reaquesting to only leave ONE BOTTLE OF WATER nope, THEY kept leaving 2 bottles of water. Which due to increased price needed to pay for each bottle. 4-A couple times water bottles (unbeknown to me)were leaking a bit trough the bottom, placed one bottle on floor until able to use bc as mentioned I only needed one but the were leaving 2, When removed bottle to place in the cooler my wooden floor was ruined bc of the water leak floor had a bad stain, which needs to be redone to fix. Again, needed to get on the phone to ask for 1- please only leave one bottle 2-Ask the provider or driver leaving bottles outside to avoid dropping bottles on floor to harsh & prevent bottles from breaking 5- Now, they sent notice stating no more paper bills, bills will come in the email, never received a bill in the email?. cooler broke down AGAIN called company zero response. Called again zero response in the meantime an not using the cooler for over 3 weeks, plus, taken time to call call & call w out any resolution. I didn't pay the bill for 2 months one never received it in the email? Two, my water cooler have not worked for 4 weeks now, plus they never came to delivere water. Finally, called paid what I owed them, cancelled services and it took 3 weeks 5 phone calls request for SPARKLETTS to come and take the cooler out of my house, Meantime they placed on my bill for $175 When account was cancelled they said:tomorrow someone will get the cooler at 9a.m. I took time off from work to wait for the guy NO SHOWED called again THEY said: Tuesday at One, took time again NO SHOWED NO EVEN A courtesy call Am already so frustrated called an attorney bc am not paying $175 for something which I have requested to B taken out of my house, paid bill, lost time from work to (2Xs)wait for them and nothing. Then, I called again they said nxt week wed at 1p.m. then wed comes & early a.m. am coming home from my runnig routine at 7:30a.m. the guy is outside when they have said 1p.m. In addition, he told me he came the day before (i was never told he was going to come, he did that on his own) went inside my yard and took the 2 empty bottles out of my yard. My house is all security gated he violated & trespassed my gate and intruded in my house w out my consent AM BEYOND DISBELIEF It has been the worst service ever plus they over charged every month more and more money do yourself a favor read all yelp reviews before buying or signing w any service I wish I had. & never listen to the sales pitch at Costco Sparkletts water its by far the worst customer service ever w out deserving even one start Am a business owner and know customer satisfaction its imperative not only bc money revenues, competition but for work ethics which obviously aren't in their dictionary. read more

I hate that I have to give them one star. They would not show up for delivery dates I would wait a couple days still no show call in to get water and have to wait longer meanwhile we have no water. Never knock on door to pick up empty bottles if they come inside and you ask them the driver says it's not there bottles. They charge you a deposit of $6 a bottle and wonder why your bill is high when you have 10 empty ones. Call and complain they said they would deliver 2 free bottles today. Driver shows up and said no free bottles well then you can take everything with you I will cancel. Horrible service and no customer service. read more

Well where to start. This is quite possibly the worst service I have ever received and I never actually received service HA! I was told first delivery would be made 9/10 , took the day off waited at home. No call no show. Called that night told I'm now on the schedule for 9/11 and that I would be called ahead of time. No call no show. Called again 9/11 told I'm on the schedule for 9/12. No call no show. Called today 9/12 at 245pm. Yes sir you are on the schedule for today and delivery is happening. They stop deliveries at 5. No call no show nothing! Called at 6pm and closed the account. Which they transferred me three times to do so. I have no idea how someone can stay in business with this type of service. Sparkletts was a big deal when I was a kid in the 80s but this is just awful. Stay away!!!!! I should have read the horror stories on Yelp before even giving them my information. Please for your own sanity do not do business with this company read more

Really frustrated with DS services "Sparkletts" right now. Been with them for about 2 years, only because the water taste good. The service is crap. I've been delivered product I didn't order, charged incorrectly and now my delivery date changed. I racked up about 8 empty bottles because they deliver whenever they want and I don't get a chance to set out my empties. I called 3 weeks ago to complain AGAIN and to get them to come pick up my empty bottles. They did that but then my Thursday date changed on their end to a Monday and BAM I come home to more bottles at my door. I was supposed to be on replenish only. Whatever I leave out is what I get replaced, doesn't happen. Today(6/4/18) I called again to ask why I'm getting bottles on a Monday and was told my day is always Monday. WTF!! Sucks because we like the water. The service will be the deal breaker. One more screw up and see ya! Over it. No communication between route and customer reps! read more

I wish i can give them negative stars! this company is horrible and has no communication within itself. Everyone told me something different. My account got sent to collections for non payment. When i asked the girl literally told me on the phone "YOU PAY WHENEVER YOU WANT" i was like ok? I got this service at my local Costco, literally someone just came to my house and left the cooler and didn't break down billing or contact info. nothing...i should have known id be dealing with BS from the start. They hardly picked up my bottles on time. one time i had over 5 bottles just waiting to be picked up and every representative gave me a time and date when they were going to show to get them and "reassured me" yet nobody came until my next delivery almost 3 weeks later! ridiculous. As for billing I had no idea when to pay!! ever.... i had to google a service number because i never got paperwork. I made an account online and my balance was always increasing. After i got the automated call to leave my bottles out and then i log into pay because i can pay whenever i want and it says my account is in active and got sent to collections. I have been reading these other reviews and I have to agree with very poor service. My cooler starting leaking water all over my floor. I called them to replace it, and they said that the service tech would be out the next day. I needed a window of time, since I work nights and need to sleep, and cannot wait 9 hours for someone to show up. They said the tech is available from 8-5, but they promised he would be there from 8-10. Of course, no show, no call. I called at 10 am, and they said someone would call me and let me know a time. I waited from 10 until 1 pm and could not stay awake any longer. I called back today, and of course the same run around. So, I will be canceling my service. And too bad for them. I have been a good paying customer of sparkletts for over 20 years. read more

After 20 + years today I cancelled my water service with Sparkletts. I highly recommend do not use this company. 2 weeks ago I set my empty water bottles out and nobody showed up. Then again yesterday (May 11, 2016) nobody showed up by mid morning. I called and was told that the driver or the company would call back, no call. I waited 3 hours called back and was guaranteed that the driver would be here before 5:00. Nobody came. Today I called explained that I haven't been serviced now for 4 weeks and instead of setting it right they offered to cancel my service! I guess they are so big they don't need their long time customers anymore. I asked to speak to a supervisor got the runaround was put on hold for 15 minutes, another person picked up the line and gave me the runaround again. I again asked for a supervisor. Finally got a supervisor and he didn't care, is happy to cancel the service. I'll call arrowhead today. read more

I cannot believe how long it takes to cancel a subscription! I was on hold for 30 mins so I used another phone to dial Sparkletts to see if the hold took as long for new customers and I was able to get to a sales associate SO QUICKLY! It's amazing how they treat customers that are trying to cancel with such long wait times but answer the phone extremely quickly for new customers. Wont be using their services ever again. =/ read more

Worst delivery service ever. Customer service isn't very helpful either. You get a reminder call saying your delivery is the next day. Then you show up at home to empty bottles on your porch that were never replaced. OR, they deliver too much water and ignore a large, clearly written legible note. I live in a studio. There's no room for extra water. It's worse when I have none, cause the tap water in my community isn't the healthiest. I hate having to babysit a company every two weeks to make sure they deliver the right amount of water, or any at all. And they do over charge for deliveries you don't get, all the time. Dispatch needs to either communicate better with their drivers, or start hiring better people. I know a bad operation when I see it. I'm a dispatcher and a commercial driver! read more

Due to system glitch overpaid over 8000 dollars. Soon after discovered overpayment contacted customer service & requested for refund on overpayment. Put on hold over 20 minutes a customer rep said I should get my refund within two weeks. Five week past still no check. Called again put me on hold over half hour. Manager said sorry we will take care of it ASAP. Month passed no check. I'm about to contact blood sucking attorney to see if I can file law suit. I'm sure if customer is late for payment they will charge late fees. read more

We are currently using the Costco bottled water through Sparklets. They have TERRIBLE customer service. They can't get a delivery correct. Three deliveries ago, they add a very over priced case of single use water and just add it to the bill. We have a gated driveway and the last two deliveries they leave the water on the street outside of the gate so we can carry it up the hill. I have a bad back and cannot carry them up our driveway. This is why I pay for water delivery. I called in prior to the delivery to make sure they had the gate code and they said it's on our account. Wednesday when I get home my bottles of water are on the road and our 9 empty bottles are sitting in front of our garage. I call the Costco representative at Sparklets early Thursday morning and I'm assured I'd receive a call back that day and that they would be out to fix the delivery and pick up the empties. So far everything is still sitting there waiting to be moved. It's amazing that Costco lets this company represent them. read more

Trying to resolve a billing issue & today is my 5th phone call. No one called back after first two calls. Third call started 2 hours before they closed. Estimated call wait was 20 minutes, so I left call back number. An hour later I received the call back, but had to be transferred and was put back on hold. I was on hold until the call was dropped because they closed. Called yesterday and left call back number, estimated wait time was 15 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes I had to run to the restroom & missed the call. Today's wait time was no more than 15 minutes. I missed that "no more than" on the other calls? Been on hold an hour and 6 minutes now. read more

I am sitting on HOLD AGAIN as I type this review. I have completely HAD it with this company! The customer service is NONEXISTENT. You can't get anyone on the phone. I was on hold one day for over and HOUR just to have the phone disconnect on me. I tried to pay my bill online and the payment never processed because someone misentered my information yet I had printed confirmation. They never notified me and just sent another bill saying I'm past due. I sent them 2 messages and 2 long emails and never received a reply or a phone call. I finally reached them miraculously on a weekend and the lady was rude to say the least like it was my fault the payment didn't process. NOW, I have to call them AGAIN because my delivery for this month came with only one bottle instead of the 3 I signed up for!!!!! It's time to cancel Sparkletts and find a company that actually provides service to its customers! read more

Love the water but they have the worst customer service ever!!!!! we had a cooler breakdown..actually smoking..not sure if it would have caught on fire we unplugged before that could have happened, a full 5 gallon jug had emptied on the floor. I called customer service, wanted someone to come the same day to see the damages. This is a business account, water went under the wall into a neighboring business, spoke with a manager stated they needed to follow protocol and could not come out same day?? really???? That was a Friday morning it is now Wednesday and still no one has come to access any damages. We have since called and cancelled service. Have been told someone would be here to collect all coolers and water yesterday as of today we still have all of their products. If you do not care about customer service issues on anything, we have had others in the past, this was finally the last straw..... but be aware they are the worst!!!! read more

Customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with by far !! Wish I had read these reviews before starting services with them I definitely woulda looked for another company. I am currently writing this review while being on hold for 25 minutes. I have called over 10 times to switch delivery to my new address and always been on hold , today I called and got ahold of someone finally and I said you know this customer service is terrible I'm just gonna cancel and she said ok hold on and I've been holding on for all this time now because they don't want me to cancel. So I guess if I don't get this handled over the phone I will have to drive to lakeside and drop off the dispenser and empty bottles and cancel in person. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone !! My service rep Rob was always friendly and good but he deserves to work for a better company because this one is terrible !!
