Can I give this place a 10 out of five star? I haven't had such good food like this in a long time. This place completely blew my mind. The food here is incredibly creative, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. The portions are small plates, but it's actually perfect because it lets you try a lot of different dishes from the menu. Hummus - 5/5 my daughter could not stop eating this. She loves the crispy chickpeas and the oxtail with soft pita bread. Octopus with squid ink - 5/5 Tender and flavorful with great depth. Agnolotti - 4/5: in another restaurant this would probably be a five out of five, but because it's competing against so many other amazing dishes on the menu I had to give it a 4 Spring Mountain Sour cocktail - 10/5 I must, must, must order this again. I've never had a cocktail this delicious in my life. I love beet juice and yuzu, and this drink absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark. Roasted cabbage - 10/5 Surprisingly one of the standout dishes of the night. I love roasted veggies. Japanese sweet potato - 4/5 if you lost your potato, cream fresh that is made perfectly with a subtle strawberry flavor, sprinkled with Chinese sausage. Such a creative dish. Foie gras 5/5: this is as good as foie gras gets. There was a small amount of the jelly on the side, which was the perfect amount to balance the richness. Black pepper honey pork flank 5/5 with banana purée. Such an interesting combination and very memorable. Desserts: these desserts need their own section for review. Do not say no to dessert. If they rotate the desserts on the menu, I need to come back and try every single one. I've been eyeing the peanut butter ice cream sundae but it wasn't on the menu when I came. Mango passionfruit dessert with rice ice cream 5/5: We loved the white chocolate coconut pieces. The mango mousse was shaped like little macarons and had the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. The fresh mango pieces were diced so perfectly that whoever cut them has serious knife skills. Vietnamese coffee ice cream 5/5: there's a lot of Vietnamese influence on this menu, which I really appreciated since I'm Vietnamese myself. It feels like elevated Vietnamese inspired flavors with creativity. I especially loved the chocolate on the bottom with coffee beans. Baked Alaska 5/5: Very beautiful presentation. They light the dessert on fire in front of you. It was a bit alcoholic, so I'm glad we ordered another dessert for the kids. Every dish was plated beautifully and showed so much creativity. This restaurant really impressed me with its innovation. It feels like dining at a Michelin-level restaurant but in a more casual and comfortable environment. Next time I'm back in Vegas, I absolutely want to come back. The food is craveable, unique, and memorable. (It was a us our server Ruby was super helpful and friendly) Their menu is also one of the best I've seen with the sketching. Creativity here is out of this world.

This place has been on my list for a while and I got a chance to check it out while I was visiting family. I made a reservation for a Friday night and we were seated pretty quickly. It was dark in the main room but we were seated in a side room that had more light and it had a better vibe for a meal with family. The staff and service were great! They were very attentive and kept our water glasses full which was desperately needed for our meal. I had a sip of my sister's cocktail which was called Only Figs ($18). We enjoyed this. You could taste the fig and it wasn't too sweet. What we ordered: Oxtail hummus ($19) 5/5 It had a lot of flavor and depth from the oxtail but a little salty which was balanced out by the pita bread. Broccolini, mushroom and poached egg ($22) 2/5 Nothing special, just expensive broccoli. Japanese sweet potato ($16) 0/5 It was incredibly salty. Japanese potatoes are so amazing alone so I expected it to be elevated for the price but this was just terrible. Imagine putting the all the fixings on a baked potato but on a sweet potato instead and taking away all of the good stuff (natural sweetness and flavor). New Zealand Venison Tartare ($24) 3/5 It was okay. I think it was missing some brightness. Not memorable. Black Pepper Honey Pork Copa ($39) 4/5 The texture reminded me of Korean Bossam. You could taste the Vietnamese influence with the sweet and salty fish sauce. I enjoyed the flavors but others didn't. They thought it was too salty. Golden Tilefish for two (they replaced it with seabass) ($58) 2/5 You could taste the palo santo infused into the fish but it had a bitter or pungent flavor which was probably from the epazote. It's something I haven't had it before but I think I would have preferred lime or yuzu for a light white fish. The fish was also dry but it did have a nice crust. Baked Alaska ($18?) 0/5 We've never had this before and didn't know what to expect but it was like eating a rum covered, icy brick of stale ice cream. I would have enjoyed an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins instead. The contrast of textures were not pleasant and the rum was extremely overpowering. We regret no trying the other desserts instead. Overall, we enjoyed the staff, cocktail, and two dishes but we were left incredibly underwhelmed and thirsty af. I drank two bottles of water after leaving because the sodium was out of control. To put into perspective, we paid a third of the price for an amazing meal at an Izakaya down the street (the night before). I don't mind the premium prices for small plates if the food is legit but it did not hit the mark for us. Also, fyi, they don't offer any special birthday desserts. Just a birthday candle to blow out, in case you were wondering. In addition, I read online reviews saying that the food used to be better but it has declined so I would have to agree and will not be returning.

Honestly SHOCKED at how long it took me to dine here. Made reservations last night for hubby's birthday. Our meal was AMAZING. We literally transcended into a superb gastronomical experience. I really do enjoy "family-style" dining, it allows you to try so many items off a menu. We ordered about 4 plates, which was enough to preview the menu but it left us planning our return!! Highlights: - Blue fin tuna taco, I believe it had a foie gras base, which elevated the umami qualities - Oxtail hummus, reminded me of my childhood, loved the meat! - Agnolotti, it seems they rotate the ingredients based on what is in season, spicy and filling to say the least, lobster was a nice touch - The heart of the ribeye was interesting, I wasn't expecting just two pieces of meat but it got the job done!!!! - Husband absolutely balled over the Vietnamese ice coffee ice cream, not going to lie it was heavenly! I was also pleasantly surprised by their cocktails, I enjoyed their take on the white negroni and old fashioned. We will, without a doubt, be back!

On rare occasions, one comes across a gem of a restaurant where even after more than 15 visits, across an evolving menu, every dish still delivers with consistency and impact. Sparrow + Wolf is one of those places. Every part of the menu is fully realized and intentional, and the delivery holds across everything. What separates it further is how the kitchen moves across different cultural influences while exemplifying what makes each one distinct, maintaining clarity and identity in each dish instead of flattening them into a single generic style. That level of precision shows immediately. The Peruvian steelhead trout is clean and precise, with sashimi-level quality that comes through clearly. The ponzu sharpens the fish without overwhelming it, while pear and hazelnut add crunch and sweetness that enhance rather than compete. The result is focused, refined, and complete. The oyster duo builds on that with contrast. The oyster is fresh and tender in both preparations, but the treatments diverge. The cold version is bright and clean, with a sauce that lifts the oyster and extends its flavor to the point that it is worth finishing on its own. The hot version moves in the opposite direction--richer, more savory, almost soup-like--yet still keeps the oyster at the center. Both are fully realized, each highlighting a different side of the ingredient. The oxtail hummus is one of the clearest examples of how the kitchen constructs a dish. The naan stands on its own. The hummus is smooth and complete. The oxtail is tender with slight smokiness, while the chickpeas add texture and subtle sweetness. Each component works independently, but together they build layers--creaminess, crunch, and depth--without anything feeling secondary. From there, the menu builds into richer territory while maintaining clarity. The duck bánh cuốn integrates heat and texture while staying engaging even when the spice is pushed higher. The foie gras paired with lamb is a standout. The foie is properly seared and clean, the lamb is crisp outside and tender inside without gaminess, and the sauce unfolds in layers of sweetness, tang, and savoriness, with a deeper chili component that reads almost like sambal. Having had multiple versions, this is the strongest iteration they've put out. Texture and technique remain consistent. The Spanish octopus has the correct resistance without rubberiness, and the squid ink risotto stays creamy while maintaining grain definition. The heat is direct and focused, supported by garlic and herbs rather than sweetness, adding dimension without weight. The Maine lobster with chèvre and parmesan introduces a more complex composition while remaining clear and structured. The lobster stays the focus--tender and fully present--while the chèvre, parmesan, sauce, and pasta support without overtaking. The pasta adds chew, and a gradual heat builds as you continue eating. As the meal builds, the range becomes even more apparent, but each dish continues to stand on its own. The wood-fired lamb is medium rare, clean, and not gamey, with beans adding richness and shaved vegetables introducing crunch and freshness that keep the dish engaging. It reads as a richer course but eats light, remaining distinct from earlier dishes. The black pepper and honey pork flank leans into a Southeast Asian profile and adds another dimension. The pork is very tender, with a proper balance of fat and meat. Instead of a heavy glaze, the dish uses a lighter, broth-like sauce with acidity, spice, and clear fish sauce presence. Banana adds sweetness without overwhelming, while chili and onion bring heat and texture. Even this late, the dish remains structured and composed rather than dense. Across the progression, every dish is intentional and fully developed, with a clear role rather than functioning as filler. Many of these courses would stand on their own while still working cohesively within the experience. Dessert carries the same level of refinement. The Vietnamese coffee ice cream is deeply coffee-forward without becoming bitter or overly sweet. The espuma is light and slightly toasty, while gel and crisp elements create contrast. It closes cleanly. Service reflects the same level of attentiveness and intent. Adjustments, including increased spice, are handled properly rather than symbolically. The bartender remembered a standing ordering pattern and created a custom cocktail with precisely the right acidity to carry across multiple courses. This is a restaurant that delivers consistently, across time, menu changes, and a wide range of dishes. The food is not just technically sound--it is layered, intentional, and compelling at every stage. And that level of execution -- truly exceptional.

    Great Madeira

I was so excited to try the chefs tasting menu with wine pairing and it did not disappoint! The supplemental foie gras and lamb belly with a Madeira it was absolutely delicious. We loved every course and our creative wine steward brought interesting and unique wines to pair with the excellent food. Service was outstanding and our birthday girl felt especially celebrated. The ambience was a little loud but the music was lowered upon our request so we could hear each other. The chef came out to the dining area to observe guests which showed he truly cared. I loved the experience but the price is too high for me to do it often. It's a perfect special occasion restaurant though!!

Got a table for 1 here on a Monday night with no wait. Truly a 5/5 experience. I'll be thinking about this one for a while. Food: Absolutely mind blowing. Some of the best flavours I've had in weeks and I just came from new York and Toronto. Oxtail hummus: was so so so good. The flavour of the oxtail gave the hummus such an incredible depth of flavour. The crispy chickpeas gave the perfect crunch to the rest of the softness of the dish. Pork copa: absolutely unreal. There was so much going on yet you could pick out each flavour since they each have their time in the spotlight. Nothing overshadowing anything. The pork itself is cooked like a Thai pork jowl dish - great char. Super refreshing cilantro and onion salad on top. The puree was nice. And the sauce is a sweet Nuoc mam. The sesame the sprinkle gives a wonderful aftertaste as you finish your bite. Petal to the Metal: way too strong for me and I didn't like it. Service: was really good. Super friendly waiter. He's the one who recommended the dishes I ate. He said it was his first month here and he'd only worked in pubs prior. Thanks for the recos whoever you were. Ambiance: upscale but they didn't turn me away in my airplane fit. Probably a good date night spot or a good place to take clients out.

    Hummus with pita bread

***3.5 rounded to a 4 star*** I came here for a date night with my bf on a Tuesday night for an early valentine dinner. It wouldn't call it super fancy, more on the casual side. The place was small and the table next to us was really loud. But it didn't bother us tooo much. Our waitress was literally the best. I wish I got her name but she had large rectangle glasses. She was so nice and attentive. She even noticed our table was wobbly and got down to fix it for us. She also knew the menu well and gave us recommendations. The food overall was just okay. Nothing really stood out to me. Banh cuon 8/10: this was probably my favorite dish since I love fish sauce. I grew up eating Banh cuon in my household but this dish was a rendition of the traditional dish. I was packed with flavor. The banh cuon was wrapped with rice paper and had duck filling. However it was the sauce that really stole the show. Oxtail hummus 7/10: this was one of the more solid dishes. The oxtail was suppperrr tender. And the pita bread that came with it was so soft. The hummus was pretty thick so I got tired of it fast but overall not bad. Tartare 6/10: this beef tartare was explained to me that it was "special" bc uses young cow meat. The texture was nice but the flavor was okay. It didn't have much complexity in my opinion, rather just saltiness. The crisp/,chips in it definitely added a nice texture though. Japanese sweet potato 6.5/10: the sweet potato was very soft and cooked perfectly. The sauce was okay. I felt like I preferred the sweet potato on its own more than the garnishes in it. Ribeye Steak 4/10: $52 they cooked it to a good medium but it just didn't have that great of a flavor. The sauce was also too salty for my liking. Nothing special and it was kind of tough too. Pork entree 7/10: this was the better entree of the two. The pork was so interesting because it had the texture of beef, but in a good way! It was firm yet tender. The dish was a bit too salty but overall okay. I feel like they try to be unique as possible which they do a good job in terms of creativity. However the flavor profiles need a bit more work and maybe more umami flavors. Some dishes were just salty (pork) while others lacked flavor (tartar). In the end the food kind of fell short for my expectation but what made me give a higher rating was definitely the service.

The simplest way I can describe this place is to just go and find out. The reason why I say that is because they are fine dining not specific to a genre and that their menu can always update. But that's the good thing because my suggestion is to go there and go only based on what they suggest. Because that's what we did and that's what made it enjoyable. The service made it easy because they were able to make suggestions and also adjust based on our liking. Not just with food, but with the beverages (wine) as well. We sat at the bar which I felt made it more entertaining. You're able to get a slight glimpse of the kitchen as it's this white glowing light that peeks behind the bar. You can also look at all the different types of glasses they have. Overall I say give this place a chance as it's a nice spot to just try something new and not be too specific on what you eat. Just take a gamble and see what you end up with!

A highly recommended restaurant in Las Vegas that delivered on menu variety, flavor exploration and high quality service. We're glad we made a reservation because they were packed and busy. The food was amazing start to finish; almost impossible to decide on a few things to try. It is pretty noisy inside due to the amount of people and very tight but gives the low light atmosphere I know many appreciate on a date.

Looked up this place and decided to roll the dice and give it a try based on the reviews and I'm soooo happy I did! Wow!! What an experience. The outside was a tad deceiving as it's in a small strip mall...nothing too exciting... All the dishes were a work of art and the unique flavor combinations were out of this world!! All the items on the menu are so creative with some ingredients I couldn't even pronounce. The plates are smallish- and you are encouraged to share. They prefer you order all at once and they will bring out the plates in an order that is perfectly paired. I wish I got our servers name- she was so so patient as it was our first time there. I also like a server who has a fantastic opinion..all of her recommendations were spot on.

My favorite place in Vegas! The food is great. I visited twice and I ordered different things, and they all delivered!! The experience was amazing - the servers know the menu very well, you can tell they love the food here too. The restaurant has a nice and romantic vibe, not too quiet that you can't talk and laugh your heart out but not rowdy either. I love the dim lighting and the set up. The only thing I did not love is their dessert, the presentation was great - it's just compared to their dishes, the dessert was okay. I made it a goal to always visit this place every time I'm in Vegas.

Late but nothing missing So I have been trying to get to sparrow and Wolfe for about two years now and the other day my daughter and I finally went. Actually it was one of my patients that told me he was chef there, and that I had mentioned all of these food places while I was providing his service but his restaurant I had not come to... Sparrow and Wolf. So let's go. First of all the door is very alluring. It makes the patrons interested to see what behind. The parking wasn't the best in the evening because there are several establishments nearby however it worked out.. There are both stairs and a walkway for entrance. The ambience was fun. I really expected it to be bigger. However, the size did not diminish our experience.. chef Earl took very good care of us. The hostess at the stand was very caring or hospitable because our table wasn't ready.. all of the wait staff was pleasant Emily our main server was congenial and Chef Erik came out to greet us! Everything from the beverages to the dessert was very unique and I love how all of the flavors melded together in each dish. We were full with no room for dessert but the bark was too tempting to resist

Sparrow + Wolf offers a really unique dining experience, and it definitely lived up to the recommendations. The menu has creative dishes that are great for sharing, which made it easy for everyone at the table to try a little bit of everything. The flavors were thoughtful without feeling overdone, and it was refreshing to see options you don't usually find anywhere else. The service was one of the highlights, attentive, friendly, and well timed. Our server helped explain a few dishes and offered great suggestions without ever feeling pushy. It made the whole meal feel relaxed and welcoming. I did add some photos, but I'll admit my photography skills don't do the food justice. The plating is beautiful in person, much better than what I managed to capture. Overall, Sparrow + Wolf is a solid choice for anyone looking to try something a little different. Great food, great service, and perfect for sharing.

Is there still a seared foie gras dish available? Either as part of an entree or by itself? And only for dinner or other meals too?

Is this a good option for my 21st bday dinner? I'm looking for good food, fun ambiance, suitable to bring a table of 12, not overly priced?

Absolutely!! I would say your best local option . The private dining room is beautiful and seats up to 30. Menus are customizable the food and drinks are amazing !

Is the bone marrow dumplings only served with the $125 tasting menu? Why don't I see that item listed on the regular dinner menu?

Can anyone give some insight on price?? On average, without drinks. Curious if this is a "once a year for a birthday" type of place, or a "go get dinner since my direct deposit hit" type of place?

My wife and I paid around $90 before tip and alcohol. Depending on your level of weath it’s anywhere from a birthday meal or an inexpensive Tuesday night dinner. For me, it was a splurge - and an enjoyable on at that.

They have a wide selection of drinks that seem to be infused type drinks. There was a couple glitches, this is why our review is three stars. The bar was not crowded at all. It was us and another group of four. Our bartender gave us the menus and kind of disappeared. We asked for a photo and she said well when I catch up, I will do that for you. As stated there was only another group of four and two bartenders. She was over with them as if they were friends talking to them the entire time. She finally came around and gave us our drinks and offered to take our picture, but by then we had already taken pictures. We had the Crimson drink, which was very good. It had watermelon, flavoring watermelon squares and watermelon flavored Red Bull. I ordered Diet Coke and the first one was horrible. It tasted like it was mixed with something. She was kind enough to pour it out and bring me another one, it unfortunately also had some weird kind of taste. I recommend this place do a deep cleaning. The bar smelled like hot melted metal. The the staff here had no personality whatsoever and was borderline rude and not taking care of the customers. It was a very quiet day and we should've been served with a smile and better attitude. Sorry, this place missed the Mark.

In…read morethe past, I've popped in on a whim whenever I was in the mood for something fun and different. As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

We had an instant connections and I was shocked she spoke such fluent mandarin! Inside is a good sized bar, mostly high tops, and some booths. They have won a few awards. One award was best cocktail bar off the strip. Another award was the best independent restaurant from OnDeck. So this place is certainly Worth a Try! The cocktails are like no others anywhere. I tried the Nonna's Concoction. It had tomato water in it and rhubarb, tequila, and mezcal in it. My husband tried the one called Butter Me Up that came with a tiny plate of pop corn. That drink was incredibly strong but also layered with many flavors and even after your sip the flavors magically kept rolling. Spring rolls of the day (sea bass) were presented so fancy and seemed free of oil and were tasty. The Norwegian Salmon had the most masterfully crisped skin on it that stayed crisp till the end. (in case you don't know that is very rare and very few restaurants have someone that can do that) The salmon was moist and medium in the center. It sat on the very buttery pomme puree that was embellished with delicious sauces. This all was also adored with a fancy piece of toast that tasted so good with the potatoes. My husband tried the Jumping Beef (Vietnamese Style) and it came with the fancy toast, a nicely prepared sunny egg and miso confit tomatoes. I tried a small bite of the beef and it was very tender and tasty. Our server was very attentive and very helpful. I would rate 4.5 only because both proteins were very thin. Yelp will not allow a 4.5 rating so I rounded up because of spectacular service and some way out there spectacular flavors.

A friend highly recommended Weera Thai, specifically the Rainbow location, but after reading that the Sahara location is the original award-winning restaurant, I decided to give this one a try--and I'm so glad I did. Here's what we ordered: - Crispy Duck Panang Curry - MUST ORDER! The crispy duck was perfectly cooked, and the rich, creamy Panang curry was absolutely delicious. - Crab Fried Rice - Order it! Loaded with generous chunks of real lump crab. The seasoning is on the lighter side, allowing the sweetness of the crab to shine without tasting bland. - Pork Belly with Gai Lan (Kana Moo Krob) - Highly recommend! I requested leaner pork belly, and they happily accommodated my request. Flavorful, crispy, and satisfying. - Thai Boat Noodle (Pork) - Order it! Rich, aromatic broth with a wonderful herbal flavor that's authentic and comforting. - Pad See Ew with Pork - Order it! Perfectly balanced--not overly oily or overly sweet like many other Thai restaurants. Mango Sticky Rice - ABSOLUTELY ORDER IT! The sticky rice was warm, soft, and perfectly cooked. The coconut sauce wasn't overly sweet, and the mango was incredibly ripe, juicy, and sweet. One of the best versions I've had. Honestly, I wanted to order even more dishes, but we had plan for a buffet at 5 PM, so I had to exercise some serious self-control! Service was excellent--courteous, attentive, and efficient. Our server, Goi, patiently answered all of my questions and offered great recommendations. She made our first visit even more enjoyable. Overall, this meal completely lived up to the hype. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Highly recommended!
