Kyle is the man! Excellent customer service - He needs to take his skill and services somewhere else. As for the business in general, stay away. I was quoted one price on the phone and when the job was done, I was given a quote about $150 more than what I was told it will be. I understand that some jobs may take some extra time but don't get started on the job and then tell the customer after its complete that it's a different, more expensive charge. At the end of the day, my car doesn't sound the way I wanted it to be. I'm taking my money over to Scott's Minute Muffler in Dublin, CA. came here to get my muffler realigned, aka loosen a bolt, push the muffler up and then tighten a bolt... and they charged me $50 which i think is extremely high but hey whatever I was already here so I got it done.. due to some alignment issues i asked them to put 2 washers in to increase clearance... another $10 for two spacers... not really sure I'm happy about that but like I said... hey I was here already.. the technician who worked on my car (not the guy who names the prices) was really nice and friendly though, he definitely takes his job seriously and does great work. read more

Called got a quote, decided 20 mins later I was down for the res delete. Called back and made an appointment for next day. Got there and was greeted immediately. He said an hour and it took him 50mins. Got a call back and left in an hour. He was a very professional and friendly mechanic, also informed me of the services the shop provides. No BS. I don't think I've ever felt this disrespected as a customer trying to schedule an appointment. I chose to go to this business as the reviews on yelp showed quality work. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and then disconnected. I tried to call back and ask why I was put on hold or never given a call back, he simply said whatever man.. I decided not to go as the professionalism shown in this establishment was similar to that of a child and he did not once apologize for wasting my time. If you do not want to waste your time, I strongly urge you to find another establishment that will respect both you as an individual and your time. read more

Horrible customer service. Maybe their technicians are great, however the way they treat customers over general inquiries are abhorrent; I never made it to their shop due to this. Well worth the wait! Got in about 920ish am, had 3 cars before me and Kyle told me it was gonna be a 3 hour wait. Should've went here first instead of the other muffler shop who turned me away. My phone was fully charged and didn't mind waiting at all because I couldn't stand the flowmasters on the mustang any longer. Kyle was right with the estimated time he'd get me in. I just needed my mufflers chopped and replaced it with the ones I brought in which are the magnapacks from magnaflows. I'd say it took him only 30-45 minutes for him to cut the old mufflers and weld the new ones in. Would recommend! read more

Noe and the guys at speedee muffler were awesome ...I have a old 89 chevy pickup that needed a California cat. that was bad. giving me a high HC score on my smog test. I took my 98 4Runner here when my cat converter was cut from it. Since my insurance was paying for the replacement I went with a factory cat from Toyota. The guys there did a great job and even helped weld on some steel bars to make it a little more difficult to thieves to try and cut again. When I got it back it ran smooth. I took it to get smogged some months later and it barely registered any smog levels. Considering my insurance footed the bill, they were reasonable. read more

Now I don't have a working car . Alternator is now bad (pulley & belt) . Not a good day.. My car was just fine . Well maintained. I am so glad I did not do this review when I got the work done 2 years ago on my dodge durango 2005. I had the heat shield on manifold worked on. 1st I was quoted 250 went to pick up in was 320, was cool with that. 2 1/2 years later I have to have the hold thing redone and more work done. they Stripped the bolts off and put washers on to fixed the problem. also used the wrong size bolts to fix the problem on top of that I only got a 30day warranty. I was even short $5 cash one time, and they said it was ok! How many other shops would say that? Great small shop. I called them on a thursday and they were able to get me a quote and the guy even came in on saturday to work on my car. He was able to install my headers and custom 2.5 inch exhaust for around $400 that is a great deal in my opinion. Because the header alone can take almost an hour straight for my car. This place has helped me like no other place. I took my car to my usual mechanic because of a weird Sound and he said I needed new a new catalytic converter. When my mechanic gave me a quote I cross referenced it with a whole bunch of places. Because I was tight on money I had to make my decision based on pricing and previous reviews. I called these guys about 10 am today to check and see if they could do a simple muffler install no big deal just a megaflow 18 in place of a stock one. Guy told me no problem just come in around 1. I called about 12:45 he said he was running a bit behind come in around 2:30. No big deal it makes sense places get behind. I come in around 2:30 I walk in stand for a bit before the guy comes around and asks me what he can do for me. Told him I called about the magnaflows and he tells me alright just wait 30 minutes I'll be with you. Sort of an absurd amount of time before he could just talk to me. I wait about 20 my plan was to drop the car off take my camaro for a wash come back and should be close to done. So after 20 minutes I say hey just take the keys and I asked him how long till it would be done. He said about an hour. Cool no problem. I got the camaro washed ate at a taco truck and returned about 45 minutes later. The truck hadn't moved. I walked in he, he had a mustang lifted and said sorry man it'll be 15 minutes before we can get your tahoe up and then another 45 before we can have it done. So now it's going to be finished nearly 3 hours after when they said to come in. Horrible customer service. I drove a block over to guaranteed and it's lifted as we speak. I understand that businesses get backed up as I'm in the service industry but don't under quote by 2 hours. Ridiculous. Drive a block over and get your car done by professionals. read more

Came here to have my original exhaust installed on my car. I walked in and noticed the worker sitting outside talking on his phone. No big deal, maybe he'll notice that I'm waiting in the lobby for assistance, but nope he didn't acknowledge me. After waiting for 5 minutes I look over at him and he gives the be with you in 1 minute hand gesture. Bad sign already. No customer service skills. After the exhaust was installed I drove off. On my way to work I noticed an obnoxious vibrating/rubbing sound coming from my car. I ended up bringing my car to the service department at my local dealership to get fixed since I don't trust bringing it back to a place that couldn't do the job right in the first place. The service department found what was wrong with it and fixed it. The issue was that the technician at Speedee Muffler left a bolt in the exhaust hanger AND he also decided not to bolt my exhaust to the frame like it's suppose to be. Both of these issues caused the obnoxious sound that I was hearing. Terrible service. read more
