On 12/23/2024 I dropped off 11 suit jackets and 6 shirts at the cleaners. When returned to me, one of the jackets (which was put in plastic like the others) had a tear or some sort of damage on the sleeve which had been sewn shut from the outside. In addition, the tag was torn, and the jacket was not cleaned and full of wrinkles. The damaged sleeve makes the garment unusable, the rest I don't care about but goes further to show what happened to my item. I asked the worker about it and she said there's no way it happened here. I asked to speak to a manager, she said he'd be here the next morning. I came back. Manager said no way it happened here, offered no resolution. The jacket was 350$ plus alterations making it about 450$ that the business cost me. I wish I had looked up this place prior to bringing them my business as clearly the workers here have damaged other people's items as well read more

HORRIBLE PLACE! Very disappointed in the service and integrity of the female employee. This place messed up my white pants. When I expressed the damage, they redid the cleaning. However, the damage cannot be resolved. When asked about the compensation, the employee said to talk to the owner. When I asked for the owner name, she refused to give me the name and phone number. She said she does not know the owner name, and that she is just a worker. How does that even make sense? Clearly she refused to cooperate. I have been using this cleaners for a while now and have not had any problems until now. I took 2 brand new sweaters to be cleaned and when I got them back they smelled disgusting. I took them back and the guy told me that it was me that smelled and they are unable to get some smells out to which I replied that these were new and that he was wrong. They took them back to redo and when I got them back they smelled worse than before. OMG THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. They burned and ruined my dress and I have emailed, and mailed the owner (I even paid for signature confirmation) and no response at all. I used this cleaners as it is conveniently close to Costco. They had dry cleaned a couple items and they came back with a strange smell. I also needed to have a small repair stitched on some pants. They came back with the rip still there and thread hanging down. I pointed this out to the sweet lady who works there ( she was very nice) and asked her to have their tailor do it again. Well it came back exactly the same as the first time and still needed repairing ( don't think they even sent it back to tailor). At this point I asked them for a refund since they didn't do the repair and they refused. This wasn't even about money as it was less than $10 but it was the principle to me. Regardless of how much money, if you don't do the job, you don't keep the money. I am a very fair person and gave them an opportunity to fix their mistake but they didn't and yet they wanted to keep my money. After a long wait I finally got them to give me credit of $5 on my account. I will never go there again due to the dreadful smell of the dry cleaned clothes, awful tailoring service but worst of all, the shockingly poor customer service. Very disappointing! read more

I am so incredibly upset by this place! The lady they have in the counter is incredibly rude and has no initiative whatsoever to offer any form of good customer service...plus the quality of their cleaning is horrible, the low price does not make up for their bad service and experience...my clothes still had the stains I brought them there with and whatever chemicals they use, leaves them smelling like raw egg. But what really gets to me is the horrible way the counter lady deals with customers, a friend of mine went there (sadly I was unable to warn her about this place) and while the rude counter lady was "assisting" another "victim", she was sorting her clothes on the other counter, when the lady was done with the other guy, she refused to walk 3 steps, to the other counter to help my friend, saying "I don't work there, bring them over here"...I am pretty sure u can guess what happened next...they have lost several customers that I was able to warn, an much rather pay an extra buck a French Cleaners on Warner ave. where they do an excellent job and don't use staples to mark your clothes like these losers. read more

I've used speedy cleaners periodically over the past couple of years and had no issues. Today I went to pick up a blouse with the intent of wearing it this evening. I have only worn the top one time and it was just to have photos taken with my daughters. I was surprised to see that that particular top was outside of the wrap with the other items I had taken in. The gentleman explained to me that they had not cleaned the top because it was damaged. The damage was that the sleeves that had some sheer areas, were completely shredded! So both sleeves with three sheer type strips around them have holes and shreds throughout! The top was brought in in perfect condition. I would've much preferred them to be honest and let me though that something happened during the cleaning process. I understand that mistakes happen. The top was purchased through Amazon and was not expensive and can easily be replaced. The principle of them telling me it was not cleaned and it was brought in that way is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Did they even offer to reimburse my whopping $2.50 since they didn't clean it? Of course not. Very nice staff. But they violate the credit card agreements with minimum purchase amounts and fees, so I have to go get cash and make am extra stop or wait longer until I have more clothes; either way not very convenient, but I put up with it for a while. I had them repair a seam on some pants. Drop off late Tuesday, supposed to be ready for pickup on Saturday. I didn't make it back until Tuesday night but my pants weren't there. She calls the owner who says she will bring the pants to the store that same night, so I can wait or come back Wednesday. I show up Wednesday night and my pants still aren't there. She calls the boss and I wait 30 minutes even though she said 15. Finally I get my pants and they look like they've been crumpled in a ball for a week, obviously never cleaned like I paid for. She said they just hadn't been pressed and she'll clean them for free next time. I took my pants straight to my new cleaner and won't be back, even though they're right by my work. I'm not giving another dollar to an owner that treats me this way and barely even offers a curt apology. And let it be known I was polite and walked out with my dirty pants. I wasn't one of those jerks that blows up and shouts. I'm just done with them. Too bad, because the lady working there at night is really nice. I advise you to look elsewhere. read more

First time i took it with a oil spot and same as gave them, they didn't clean it, I gave them back with the same situation as I gave them from the beginning. Well.... I do live in LA County.... The only reason I would feel compelled to even bring my clothes to this establishment is because of the mere fact that I come to school in the OC and that I can not afford to drive all around Orange County or LA County just to get my clothes washed and dry cleaned. However... I do feel the same reactions others have posted. I felt like my clothes had some sort of harsh chemical treatment, especially with the way my clothes smelled all funky. To describe the smell, it sort of reminds me of a really dirty nickel one finds on the bottom of their car seat. Give that a whiff, and you'll know what I am talking about. The last time I came, it was the 2 dollar price but after going now, its 2.50.. No biggie. But, heres the thing.... The last time I went to pick up my clothes, that freakin mustard stain I had on my slacks were still there... Maybe a little faded because of the "dry cleaning", but nonetheless, going to a meeting with mustard stains near your crotch doesn't really appeal to anyone... I am going to go pick up my clothes in about 30 min, since they told me it would be ready after 5pm and not 4pm like others have stated. I ll tell you folks how it goes later. It has some beads on it but the lady there neglected to tell him that they are not responsible for losing/damaging the beads so when the dress came back, the beading section was ruined!!! I read the other reviews here on Yelp and thought it sounded okay- no terrible reviews, and the same-day pickup would be awesome. I brought in two tops and three dresses to be cleaned. As advertised (they changed their sign), each piece was $2.50. I came in later that day to get my things, and noticed a pink stain on the back of my white vest and a streak of dirty water/rust on the back--these weren't there when I brought the vest in to be cleaned. The hangers they use also have a sticky substance on them to prevent the clothes from slipping off, which left white residue on the straps of my dresses, and they leave safety pinned tags on your clothes so when you take them out there as puncture marks in the clothes. The manager basically said none of it was his fault when I described the issues to him. Rude. I won't be coming back. read more

I have been going to this place for the past couple years, but lately doubt if this is all as cracked up to be. The location is under remodeling, so they outsource their work to their other chain, which STAPLES little pieces of papers INTO your clothes. I don't know how they think it can be good for the frabics. I also suspect, but cannot confirm that I feel as though they use harsh chemicals or cleaning product. I swear some of my clothes that I know I have taken there are more faded than they should be. In fact now that their prices have gone up, it's cheaper to go somewhere else to get my dress shirts pressed. They don't spot treat or anything. I brought my Patagonia fleece jacket to Speedy Cleaners to replace the front zipper. I got back and about 3-4 weeks later the metal zipper fell off. I brought in to repair and Marina the front clerk said that its been a month and it is my fault. I told her that I don't wear the jacket every day, and maybe 3 times in a month. She refused to call the owner, and instead called the police. Talk about customer service. Take your money. Say it is your fault, and try to throw you out. When police came, realized no crime committed, said it was a civil matter. After all that non sense, they repaired again. When picked up same thing, front zipper fell off track due to not replacing whole zipper and only metal tab. Of course it fell off, it is not a new zipper, and metal tab baring hung on the zipper teeth. Worst customer service ever. Stay away. read more

I used to love this place. This last week, I received someone else's shirt & one of my items was missing. No biggie. I called & spoke with someone who said that she thinks she knew what I was missing & would put a note on it with my name when I came in the next day. Next day, I brought in the shirt, explained the situation & the girl there (a different one from my phone call) said "well I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with this shirt, I guess I'll put a note on it. We don't have anything of yours here." Spying my blazer 2 feet from her I said that's it there. She said "I can't just have you walk in here & give you a garment without a tag." Good policy, I'd hate for someone to just walk in & take my clothes without a tag. I said the girl put a note on it, would you just look, please? She argued that I needed to talk with whomever I spoke with on Saturday & I should have gotten her name. There was nothing she could do. With a total don't bother me attitude. I again asked her to please look at the blazer. She pulled off a piece of paper & said "SEE? There's no note." I said, "That piece of paper has MY NAME ON IT." She huffed & gave it to me and again said that I needed to get the name of whomever I'm speaking with next time. (There isn't going to be a next time.) So moral of the story, it's $2.50 an item & they come back fast. It's hard to beat that. Getting someone else's item was probably a fluke that doesn't happen often. This place is THE BEST, I pretty much won't go anywhere else for my dry cleaning. After spending a small fortune and having multiple pieces of clothing ruined by Kona Cleaners, I knew I needed to go somewhere else. Speedy cleaners offers quick, inexpensive service and the quality of their dry cleaning is excellent. They are in the Costco parking lot, so parking can be a struggle during Costco's busy times, but it's worth looking around for a spot. Speedy cleaners also opens early, I believe 7am most days, so you can avoid the parking hassle that way. They offer same day service as long as you get your items in by a certain time and I've always been able to trust that they'll have my stuff ready on time. Truthfully, I trust them with my most expensive garments, which I will not do with other cleaners. Great staff, great cleaners, honestly you cannot beat Speedy Cleaners for your dry cleaning needs! I dropped off at coat here to get dry cleaned that had a strap attached to it. I made 100% sure before I dropped it off it was attached. Of course when I picked it up the strap was missing so I call to see if they can find it and Martina said I need to come in. I go in and immediately she puts in her bitch face without even hearing what I have to say. Accuses me of lying and refuses to look up my order...crazy, right? Low and behold the strap is right there in the back of their store (another employee was looking for it). The dress only needed a very simple stitch. After paying $8 and waiting a week, the dress came back with BLUE thread. I sent it back to get redone and patiently waited another week. After 2 weeks, I went it to pick up my dress today and it was so poorly done the material wasn't properly sewn and already started to become unraveled. I very politely explained my situation and asked for a refund so I can take it to get altered elsewhere. Both the gentleman I first spoke to and the owner/manager (female) said that they do NOT give refunds and my only option was to have it done for a 3rd time and wait one more week!
