I ordered for pickup after work today and this is my new favorite Indian Restaurant. Food was still piping hot even after the 25 minute drive home! We ordered the Vegetable Biyrani, Paneer Makhani, Govi Manchurian Entrée, and garlic naan. It came with a huge container of white rice. Everything was so flavorful and tasted so fresh. I had never heard of Govi Manchurian before and I'm so happy I tried it. It reminded me of Buffalo cauliflower! You can customize the heat level of your dishes and I like it spicy so we got everyone at the "Hot" level and it was perfect! Definitely try this place out if you love Indian food! read more

This place was fantastic. The service was great. The restaurant was bright and clean. The food exceeded my expectation. I got a shrimp appetizer that was expensive for just 5 shrimp but the quality and flavor were excellent. My wife got chicken chili something at a spicy level. I got mixed curried vegetables. We also got garlic naan. The mixed vegetables was the best I've had. My wife's chicken was too spicy for me but she loved it. The bread was also perfect. I highly recommend this place. read more

I was feeling something that felt home cooked and I made the right choice, I've never really had Indian food before so I got garlic naan, butter chicken and the dessert. Love the lunch buffet. Not a buffet fan but they are continuously cleaning, watching tables, and monitoring food levels. They keep it well stocked and food warm. Gives a great chance to try different foods and nothing is burning hot. If you haven't tried some Indian foods here is a great place to start. Give it a try. read more

Really good paneer makhani and gobi manchurian. I've only gotten take out here and it's been good each time. They give a good amount of paneer and the makhani sauce is flavored well (I get medium spicy). I've also gotten their naan and it's nice and soft. You can practically smell how good the food is going to be walking in. Their lunch buffet is great with lots of different options and all of them taste amazing. It was a good experience coming here. We arrived for dinner service early at about 6pm, it was a very quick seating and a pleasant surprise. Food was delivered fast and tastes great! Service: good service, minor errors like forgot to bring a drink I ordered, but apologized profusely for it and brought it. Very kind and attentive otherwise Atmosphere: clean, well designed, nice decor, has booths and tables. Has an open kitchen. Not noisy. We came around 6pm, and wasn't very busy. Food: really good! I can't wait to return for the buffet. There was extra food color added to by gobi Manchurian however the taste itself was great! The biggest mistake people make is the oiliness of this dish, this restaurants was not oily. Wonderful texture too. Nice spice mix. I tried some of the kadhai paneer- it was pretty good too. As an Indian- I could assume they probably made some of the ingredients before hand as they came out way too quick but it was hard for me to taste the difference. Miss my mom's food and ventured to Spice for a taste of home. Let's be real, I was drooling the whole way home smelling the butter chicken and tandoori from my to go bag.. Yum! The food was packaged carefully & the flavors of each dish were delicious. I hold high standards for Indian dishes and this is definitely a place I'd take my parents when in town! If I am being honest, I know very little about Indian food. I had eaten at Spice Indian Grill the week they opened, and I definitely ordered the wrong thing. I don't even remember what it was, nothing the restaurant did wrong, but just some bad decision making on my part. I have been in the mood to try some Indian food again lately, so when my daughter announced she wanted some fish sticks for dinner, I figured tonight would be the perfect opportunity to give Spice another go. I decided to first try the Vegetable Samosas. They were perfectly fried, and not the least bit oily, with a deliciously spiced filling. I did eat one before I took the photo, you get two in the order. Then I had some Chicken Korma, big chunks of white meat chicken in a delicious, and comforting yogurt sauce. I ordered it to be a medium spice level, which was perfect for me, because it definitely had some heat, but not enough to overpower the other spices and flavors, I thought it was excellent! I got some garlic naan with it to mop up that tasty sauce, and it was a great dinner! This review is based off the service that was provided. Which makes me never want to eat from this place no matter how good a dish is. I'm a usual at this particular location. I've even brought my family here a couple time when they visited Orlando. We all love the food. The usual hostess has been very nice in which I learned a lot about the dishes I love ordering. I've always been lucky to not be there during its busiest hours. My most recent visit however the usual hostess was not there. Instead a host I had not been use to seeing, It was busier than when I like to go. I ordered online. I walked in and never was greeted. I thought maybe they already know it's my order that's in que online. An Indian family walked in and was greeted and seated. Another Indian family walked in greeted and seated. A couple white women who were together were cashed out and thanked for their businesses. An small group of three Indian and Asian walked in were greeted and after being asked was it a pickup or dine in they were seated. Finally the cook behind the bar asked what I was waiting for. I answers my online order he said it was on the way. He was making it. I was craving naan and tamarind chutney. I forgot and left off chutney on online order the manager guy said he would get it (rudely but I ignored the rudeness). I watched him prepare it. Close container sit it down behind some other things blocking its view (I appeared as if I were not paying attention). He walked back over to me and said it would take a few minute. Then he proceeded to cook someone else meal and after 3 minutes the same cook who first approached me tapped the manager on shoulder pointing to the container behind the containers. The Manama her finally brought over the chutney and then said 4.95. For 8 oz container thanks not even full? At that point yea I'm upset and yes I threw 5 dollars at counter and walked out. I have never been charged for a side of chutney. Wow did they try to charge me because I only ordered naan? Why do I feel like I'm being raced on? I have never been charged before by the hostess or when manager was there before. Only explaining my experience in factual sequence of events (without feelings or what I think happened) is clear this was discriminatory as I was the only black person there was food at that time. The service was very fast as the food came extremely quickly. The place is very clean. The owner must have the neatest cleanest home cause their restaurant is really clean. Has a open kitchen to so technically you can stand up and watch them cooking at any moment time, it shows they have nothing to hide. Can I mention how clean it is again?? You know curry can be a very messy thing to deal with as a restaurant owner. This place is transparent about their kitchen and it shows in the food. Try this place out you won't be disappointed! Wow honestly my favorite Indian spot in Orlando! I've gone for both dinner and their daily buffet. And have enjoyed both experiences. The buffet they choose signature dishes and my fiancé, who has never been a fan of Indian food, now has this as his new go to. I'm always craving this restaurant. And I myself suffer from gastric issues and this place does not upset my stomach. The food itself is as flavorful as what I would expect for homemade Indian food. Came here with my friend because I was craving Indian food and desperately wanted some. This place was the top choice since it was well loved by all these Yelpers. However despite the rave reviews, I found my experience was disappointing and I know I've eaten at better Indian restaurants. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the chicken... was most definitely... overcooked! I felt super disappointed with just how hard the chicken was. My friend ordered the chicken korma and her chicken was just as hard. The naan we ordered was hot and delicious and everything else about the restaurant was nice. Spice is a relatively new and welcome addition to the Orlando Indian food scene. We loved it so much and will definitely be back. We started our meal off with lamb samosa and chili chicken. The chicken was a bit spicy, but it was expected. The chicken was very tender. The samosa was good and flavorful with a nice flaky outer pastry layer. The entrees were the best part of the meal. We ordered goat biryani, butter chicken and dum aloo. All 3 were amazing and made fresh. Portions were large. Plenty of food for our group of 4. We also had the garlic and butter naan, which were delicious. The entrees come with rice and they gave us extra for no charge. The service was wonderful. Water was served in large glass bottles, which was convenient for on-demand refills. Waiter and manager were very friendly. Also love how the kitchen is open. It's a very clean place. The food here is very reasonably priced. We've always been a huge fan of nearby Tamarind Indian Restaurant, but they raised the prices and it's become a little unreasonable. This place is just as good, if not better, and less expensive. 2 beers, 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, 4 naan and our bill was only $90. read more

Easy to see why everyone is giving this place 5 stars! My son and I went there for the buffet on Saturday. They had an excellent selection on the buffet about the vegetarian and nonvegetarian dishes. I tried most of them and thought they were all excellent, especially the goat curry, the chicken tiki marsala and one of the dishes that had chick peas and chicken in it I think. The only thing that my son and I didn't think was all that great was the tandoori chicken, and I think that's because it was cold and may have been sitting out for a while so it was a bit dried out. I would be willing to give them another chance on that because it looked really good, so probably would've been really good when it was a bit fresher. Overall it's the kind of place you have to be careful of so that you don't over eat and feel terrible afterwards, because it's so good you just want to keep eating! I know this firsthand, my son and I skipped dinner that night because we ate so much for lunch and we were both trying to be careful NOT to eat too much. 'nough said. We will be back. read more

Horrible food. Terrible. Loaded with MSG. Having been to India 3 times, I know a little about authentic Indian Food. This isn't. The paneer was OK, but the palak part was really poor. Use cheap ingredients, which they cover up with adding a ton of MSG. Not kidding, at 1 a.m. my heart was still pounding - never had such experience at any Indian restaurant (unlike Chinese food). The only thing I could stomach was the nan. Mere words cannot describe how bad this restaurant is, and how miserable I felt after trying it. Nicely decorated new restaurant in Oviedo. The Butter Chicken, Lamb Rohan Josh, Garlic Naan, and Vegetable Samosa were amazing. Servers were very friendly. Prices are good ($14 to $15 per main dish). Lamb was fresh not frozen and very tender. Plenty of basmati rice. Top it off with delicious Mango Lassi. The kids had mild butter chicken. They also have chicken nuggets and fries for kids. We were there for dinner and we learned they have lunch buffet daily from 11:30 to 2:30. If you are in the mod for Indian food, this is the place to go! read more

My sisters and I really enjoyed everything we ordered. For appetizer we tried the Samosa Chaat (medium spicy), which was delicious. For entree we ordered garlic naan, Saag paneer (sometimes called palak paneer) and chicken tikka masala. All the dishes were tasty and full of flavor. We had their mango lassi (Indian mango smoothie), which had great consistency and wasn't too sweet; it was just right. This place was great. We had great service, and the food was amazing. The spices were just delicious. We ordered a handful of different things between the two of us, and honestly, everything was just great. I ordered a lamb dish, and my significant other had a chicken dish. Both dishes came with rice to pair them with. We also had samosa and lamb naan on the side. We also got some crispy bread (? For a lack of better words). It was nice. It came with a bunch of different dipping sauces. We didn't order it. It was complimentary. You could come here, sit down to eat, walk away at around $15-25 a head, have leftovers for tomorrow, and feel good about yourself (because it's fairly healthy, too). The import beers are nice as well if you're looking for a little change in your routine dinner beverage. The atmosphere was also nice -- culturally appropriate and kind of a cozy Indian vibe. I tried this place for the first time and went for an afternoon weekend buffet. I liked the idea of using gloves while touching the spoons at the buffet. The restaurant is following the COVID guidelines very strictly, which is amazing. Talking about the food, every recipe was missing something. I liked the samosa and chili chicken appetizers and goat curry. The naans were fresh and soft. The butter chicken was extremely tangy. Gulag jamun hardly had any sweetness. The biryani didn't have any flavor. The paneer in Saag paneer was stale. If you are looking for an authentic Indian/Pakistani food then you may want to try something else. read more

I live about 30 minutes from spice and I drive here rather than another local Indian restaurant because they're so much better! The portions are great and the food is always exactly how I ask for it. I get chicken tika and I appreciate how the spice level is always exactly how I asked for it.
