Picture does not do it justice. Dal Makhani- perfect comfort food.

Tried @spiceindianveg tonight and it was delicious! I tried the Aloo Kulcha, Garlic Naan, Samosas, Dal Makhani, and Vindaloo. I loved every bite. You have to try this wonderful little food truck in the Sunny's parking lot off highway 6. You won't regret it. We came at around 7:30 on a Saturday evening. Food was ready quickly and the people cooking and taking our order were so sweet. New favorite place!

I am blown away by this new hidden gem, The Spice Indian Food Truck, tucked away in that little shopping center in front of the Hearthstone subdivision next to the Sunny's Food store on 529 between hwy 6 and Eldridge. Let me just start out by saying that these guys are going places and I can already see that they're gonna end up blowing up into multiple restaurants and/or food trucks all around town. Also, I'm vegan. So finding a place like this so close to where I live that caters strictly to vegan and vegetarian Indian food is wonderful. It's not the easiest thing to do to find good food around here that's vegan when you want to eat out or don't have time to cook. Mind you, even if you're not vegan or vegetarian, I swear, you will love this food. Trust me. The quality of the food is outstanding. I mean SO delicious. Don't think just because you're picking food up from a food truck that it's not going to be up to par as certain Indian cuisine restaurants around town like India's or Sitar. This place actually surpasses those high rated joints. Everything here is made fresh to order. The taste that goes into this cooking is unbelievable. The first time I came here I ordered the samosas, pakora, vegetable kofta, and tamarind rice. Everything was great but I want to make a special shout out to the samosas because they're not just the best I've ever had, but they are different than anywhere else I've ever had them at. Not sure what exactly the secret ingredient is. I think it's Kala Namak but I'm not sure. Also they are not all dry like most places make them. These aren't MOIST per se but they have a certain "non dryness" to them that make them so much better. If that makes any sense. Whatever the case is, they are the bomb so make sure you get some when you go here. As if this wasn't enough greatness about this place, wait til you see the prices. OMG. Where in Gods name are you going to find samosas for 2 for $3.50?! But that's not it, all the main dishes that come with rice as well are 9.99-11.99!!! It's crazy. I hope they stay at these prices because this is another thing that makes this place stand out from the rest. So we've covered most of the things that make this place so special and my new go to place for Indian food, from it being a vegan/vegetarian restaurant to the quality of food to the trademark samosas to the outstanding low prices...what else? Oh, GREAT friendly service, a very clean, immaculate food truck, and excellent amounts of food (trust me, you won't finish it all in one sitting and if you do, you will be very full). I give this place 10 stars out of 5. Kudos Spice Indian Food Truck. Keep up the good work. I look forward to eating y'all's food for many years. The first time

Best saag paneer I've ever had in my life. Lived in Houston last summer and probably got takeout from here at least once or twice a week- it's insanely good! Portions are massive and the people are so friendly too!

Uncle and aunty were so down to earth and served homemade food during my stay in Houston. Would highly recommend any bachelors to try this truck since it's very hygienic, healthy and tasty

Paneer Tikka Masala + Garlic naan = delicious fulfilling meal :))

First time trying this food truck. Great service and food was beyond amazing. We ordered samosa, veg pakoras, paneer Makhni, Veg kofta curry. We asked them to make medium spicy and it was perfect not too spicy and not too blend. The lady and the chef who works there were the nicest and sweetest people. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get Indian vegetarian food.

    Sooooo delicious!

Nepalis are famous for their momos, which have been one of my favorite dishes to eat. Ths sauce that comes with it is delicious and they know how I like my tea. Amrit, Rupa, Shanta, and Ashish are a great team of siblings that run and own Three Leaf after they took over and rebranded. Bashanta is the general manager and lead cook, who is an expert at taking on challenges and finds magic to make the meal extremely delicious. The surprise is that they have only been around for about 3 years, but the experience they provide seems like more than 5 years.

We had originally planned on trying out their buffet, but we showed up a bit too late where there were only bits of food left, and they weren't planning on refilling the buffet, so, we decided to stay anyway and to order off the menu..... and we're all glad we did! The interior is very spacious, casual, and clean.... and having shown up so late, there was no crowd, the place was peaceful and calm, and a great time for us to enjoy our meal.. with very good service focused only on us. I'm typically not familiar with Nepalese food, but perusing the menu, the dishes offered looked almost exactly like a typical Indian restaurant's menu, except there were some additional hybrid Indian/Chinese dishes, like the Momo dumplings that are typical and popular dish familiar to this Nepali region. Fortunately, there were four of us dining in and we were able to order a variety of dishes that sounded really yummy..... like the Steamed Chicken Momos (dumplings), Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower coated in a spicy sweet sauce), Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Lamb Curry, Saag Paneer, Lachna Paratha, and Garlic Naan. How was the food? I don't eat lamb or goat so I can't comment, but the others in the group mentioned the meat was a bit tough, but the curries tasted excellent. As for everything else, I did get to try it all, and everything was so hot, fresh, and prepared just perfectly.... so yummy delicious! Not too sweet, not to salty, and just a great balance of flavors and textures. My all time favorite Indian dish being the saag paneer....pureed spinach with cubes of goat cheese....yummeee! And went great with the breads fresh out of the oven..... very happy and satisfied! This place was a great find as we all enjoyed the food here very much. Service was very good, and with a very nice, casual, and pleasant ambiance. We don't visit here very often since we're from our of town, but if we do visit again, we'll definitely be back again.

Oh my gosh... the place was absolutely packed! There were people waiting outside. We scanned the QR code, entered our details n waited for about 30 minutes before getting a table. The interior isn't super fancy or highend but once you see the crowd inside, you immediately understand why this place is so popular. It was buzzing with people, and every table was full. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Bihari Kababs, Kali Mirch Chicken Curry, naan, rice and lassi. Everything was fresh, flavorful & absolutely delicious. The Chicken Bihari Kababs n Kali Mirch Chicken Curry were the stars of the meal. Despite the huge crowd the service was quick, organized, and very professional. That's something really appreciated. I've honestly never seen this kind of rush at any restaurant in the Dallas area. The food definitely lives up to the hype and now understand why people are willing to wait just to get in. Later found out their chops are one of the signature dishes, so that's definitely on my list for the next visit. Overall, great food, great service and a great family dining experience. just hope they open a branch in Dallas someday it would be a huge hit!

We got several things including the tableside duck tacos, a crazy menu item but it was delicious, as was everything else. Honestly surprised I haven't been back since, I will definitely make a mental note to take someone here. The neo modern interior is stylish and chic. Our group opted for the 10 course Chef's table tasting menu with wine pairings. The Chef's table is in a semi private space right in front of the kitchen, separated from the main dinning room by curtains. It was fun to watch the kitchen in action, but the area felt a bit warm at times. Presentation was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Each dish arrived in uniquely designed serve ware and each wine was presented in a different glass. The ingredients were top-notch, featuring Hokkaido scallops, Wagyu beef, yellowfin tuna, etc. That said, while some dishes highlighted the Indian flavors we were expecting, others leaned more towards American fusion. The wine pairing complemented each dish well and the sommelier provided detailed explanations for each wine. My favorite dishes of the night were the chaat and the lamb chop. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated the quality of the ingredients, the service and presentation. However I wish there's more emphasis on the Indian flavors. Based on the glimpse of the flavors we experienced in some of the courses, I suspect I might enjoy a simple bowl of vindaloo or curry from their regular menu more.

And constantly searching for a good Samosa ( that's why they got three stars, but we'll get back to that part) My order consisted of Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan (rice or naan are a separate order item) and one order of Samosas (good call on my part) The naan was very tough and quite chewy which was a great disappointment, but the bigger disappointment was the Butter Chicken. The very first piece was pure gristle and honestly it tasted more like Chicken Boti. I tried several more bites to make sure it wasn't just a one off.... It wasn't sadly. Now the reason for the three stars the Samosas..... Big, Giant, puffs of heaven! You may not be able to tell from the pic (be happy y'all got one cause as anyone who reads my food reviews know, I rarely get food pics cause I'm digging in before the server has gotten their hand completely out of the way, usually) these Samosas took up my whole palm! I ordered the plain ones ie: no meat and the my were stuffed and had the perfect amount of spicy heat. I will absolutely be going back just for those! The gentleman taking my order was very kind and polite. And the inside was set up to receive small parties as well as large ones. They also have a buffet area set up although I do not know when those times are.
