I thought I had reviewed this restaurant, but perhaps not. In any case it won't hurt to review it as I just went a second time and has as enjoyable an experience as I did the first time. The food is quite American. There are some fusion dishes, but all of it is really rather good and priced very reasonably and portions are more than adequate. The service in the two times that I have been there was absolutely superb extremely efficient. The servers are very nice. It is well worth the service experience. It's a very Roomy restaurant and there is an outside patio and it stays open rather light for a dining experience during the week which is a real pleasure. The restaurant is well appointed plenty of room. I just think it's a wonderful restaurant. The next statement is not to reflect on the Restaurant however it is a caution to any diner which is parking is strictly enforced so either be prepared to walk a distance through a very nice area or be prepared to pay for parking. Simply caution.
We arrived around lunch time and were sat right away. Our server Michelle came and took our orders. It took about 10 minutes to our food. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and my friend ordered the Steak Bowl. We both enjoyed our meals. We both were celebrating our birthdays and Michelle was so nice to bring us both complementary desserts. It was a warm cookie brownie with vanilla ice cream on top. It was so good!
I took out of town family to eat lunch and watch the world cup game. Pablo was a great waiter. It's easy to separate bills in the little machine on the table. They have sweet tea so I asked for half sweet and half unsweet. But please, Yardhouse, $4.29 for iced tea? Why? They have a vegetarian burger. I asked Pablo to have them hold the spicy tahini. They didn't. I didn't complain because I had to get back to work. The burger was served with a decent sized green salad and vinaigrette. It was good. Getting a refill for my tea took some time. The restaurant was getting busy because of the game. I had to get up and ask a waitress for the refill. I understand increasing prices due to inflation. But there has to be a limit. $28.16 for a vegetarian burger and iced tea is over the top.
Yummy! Came here with some coworkers for lunch. We sat outside and it felt so nice, and the patio area was very clean. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and Parmesan truffle fries. The fries were phenomenal, but the chicken sandwich wasn't really anything to write home about. There wasn't much flavor and the chicken breast was huge. It was still appetizing nonetheless. We did have a large party, so that may have contributed to the sandwich not being the best. Our waitresses were amazing and so patient with us. Decent experience overall.
I came here twice and I enjoyed the food here. It's a laid back atmosphere with a sports bar feel. Staff very friendly and attentive. Was able to walk in and be seated right away.
This is a great spot to have lunch or enjoy happy hour. It's spacious inside and there's also outside seating. Service was quick yet attentive. Our sever Michelle even gave us a birthday dessert that was so sweet yet unexpected. I tried the steak bowl and the flavors were excellent
Always the best Whiskey Black Pepper Wings, Chili Garlic Edamame and Poke Nachos! They've also got a great Happy Hour food menu during the day & late night Happy Hour drinks in the evening... Great service from Eduardo on a Wednesday night :)) and the vibe of the place was perfect!-- Lively, but not too crazy, with lots of folks inside having great convos.
Stopped by Yard House with a group of friends around 10pm on a Thursday night. We were just looking for a chill spot for drinks and apps after having dinner earlier, and it hit the spot. Our waitress was very nice and made the experience even better. We ordered the four cheese spinach dip and Miguel's queso -- both were really good. I especially liked that the queso came with flour tortillas as well as chips, which was a nice touch. We also had a couple rounds of amaretto sours, and they were tasty and well made. Overall, Yard House is a Happy Hour go-to for a reason -- it's a solid choice for apps and drinks.
I tried this place AGAIN after it made me tremendously sick!!!! I was in the middle of ordering a drink, and I GUESS I was taking too long for his liking. Yes, he apologized, but it should never have happened. I called for the manager, Carolina came out and apologized and said there was nothing she can do. That man literally tried to shut me up to go to the table next to me with non black women in attendance for no reason when he had just helped them. Dear Garrin, please stop being a mean racist. I am very embarrassed. Dear Carolina, to offer no help is not what a manager is supposed to do. Dear Yard House, you have racist employees and that hurts me. - signed a young black lady.
Joined a colleague for dinner at the City Centre location. Opted to park in the garage and take the bridge across from the Norris convention center over to the Hotel Sorrel to take the elevator down to avoid the cold weather. Everyone I encountered on the staff along the way were polite and courteous. Be sure to stop by the restroom area near the old Fireside Lounge to take a selfie on their beautiful mural wall to commemorate the evening. At the restaurant, I was greeted at the entrance by the hostess. I was quickly seated, but opted for a different table in a less crowded and quiet area. My request was easily accommodated. We ordered the Rosemary Lemon Drop and a House Margarita. Both were delicious and great portion sizes. For dinner, we chose the garlic noodles, firecracker shrimp, and fish and fries. The garlic noodles were well seasoned, and the shrimp had the perfect amount of batter. They were deep fried yet still soft and crunchy at the same time, tossed in an asian sauce. The fish and fries were a large portion with 3 filets and ample fries. The staff checked on us regularly and was polite and courteous. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the music and the vibe. The restrooms were clean and well stocked with the necessities. This is always one of my favorite places to dine. Will definitely come back again.

We've gone to yard house for a while now, and while the staff and service has always been great the food and restaurant isn't quite what it was. At our last visit the portions were smaller which is fine if the prices followed but of course they didn't. Know where the economy is at we get it. But they really couldn't be bothered with presentation in some cases lol. I ordered birria tacos and the tacos were good but small and the beans were suspiciously similar to what you would get at the grocery store. In a can. Plus the restaurant wasn't clean this last time, I also slipped and fell like 3 times on slippery and dirty floors. I almost felt like I need to break out my old slip resistant shoes from my own restaurant days. I really hope they put some effort into maybe a mini revamp cause I'd hate to see this place turn into a bland franchise

We came in for a late dinner and Michael was our waiter. He is prompt, attentive and provided excellent service. It was a packed house Monday night! It's one of our go to American food we absolutely love! We started with saturated edamame. Super tasty! I ordered the kale & Caesar salad with grilled chicken! Chicken came out moist and so good. Loved this salad. The other meals like the kids chicken strips were also very good. read more

havent been to yard house in a while and now i remember why...... food is edible, thats all ill say. 2 things to not order. fish and chips and jumbalaya and rice. it was so salty and horrible. tasted generic. fish and chips, look at all that fried batter. barely had fish. the oil tasted dark and old. spent $100 on everything and regretted it. yard house kind of sucks read more

This is my holy grail of happy hour! They have happy hour every weekday from 3-6pm. Happy hour gives you half off select apps, half off all pizzas, and discounts on alcohol. My friends and I would order a bunch of different appetizers and pizza to share. We always leave super full and sometimes we still have left overs. The portions are more than enough to share with people. The time for the food to come out was fast but I thought the service this time around was slow and not as attentive. I liked that you could choose from outdoor seating or indoor and that they have sports to watch while you eat. If you need a happy hour place to go with friends or on a date this is the place! read more
Basically Dave & Buster's without the games. Loud, busy, and full of drinks and bar food. The staff were hustling around like worker ants. There's a wide variety of food and drinks, though it's mostly glorified bar food , still, what we ordered was good. I liked being able to order drinks, dessert, and a few food items and even pay right from the handheld device without needing to call the waitress. read more

The food was meh. More of a place to go to drink and have some bar bites than sit down and eat. The pizza was hard to eat since the toppings kept sliding off. The chips tasted a little stale too. The service was amazing! The waitstaff are very attentive and nice. The also check on you. The place is busy, even on weeknights. It's in a nice area and has a lot of bar space. Would recommend coming here to watch a sports game or have a drink. read more

I have been to yard house multiple times but I like this newer menu much better. It has a vast variety of options. I LOVED chicken enchilada stack. It came as a surprise. Firecracker shrimp was great as well. I would definitely come back. We usually visit for my husbands favorite spicy jambalaya but this time it was little disappointing, there was less sauce and the flavors seem to have changed. read more
The ambiance works: somewhat dim, spacious, but approachable. A great place for a casual to nice bite to grab. We came just for a snack in the middle of the day. We had not been to a Yard House in a long time, but love how vegetarian friendly their options can be. This Yard House we were assigned an incredibly friendly server and they were accommodating for our preferred area to eat in the restaurant. The food was fine: truffle fries (3.5/5) and gardein wings (3/5). The gardein wings have not aged well in the era of Impossible and Beyond "meats" and taste a little too fake/processed, though are appropriately marinated and the sauces offer great taste. The mocktail was tasty but could have been elevated with a little more spice (4/5). Unfortunately, the major hit for this experience is the price point in comparison to the quality of the food. Yard House is quite expensive for the food quality they have. Worth trying if you have not before, though this may not be a place to repeatedly visit. read more
We came in for happy hour on a Thursday evening and it was fairly easy to get a table. However the booth we were seated at didn't have a server yet as it was right around shift change. We didn't know and started ordering off the kiosk and the food still came around. Maybe 10-15 minutes later the manager came over and apologized for the confusion as we didn't have plates or silver ware. We understood and it wasn't a big deal. He was also helpful in getting out the correct dish because i accidentally ordered the gardein chicken tenders instead of the regular tenders. Service was pretty prompt and our waitress was nice and helpful when it came to drink orders as we weren't sure which craft beer to go with and wanted something fruity/tart. She recommended the cherry stout and passion fruit sour. We even got to try a little before ordering which was nice. The ambiance is casual and lively with plenty of folks enjoying happy hour after work. We also ordered poke nachos and the mushroom pizza. Their sliders looked good and the buffalo wings they are definitely on my list to get next visit. read more

Amazing date night. We were seated right away. Our server was Courtni P. She was amazing. We ordered the SZECHUAN CRISPY BEEF NOODLES and the SPICY JAMBALAYA with linguine. They were both good but the beef noodles were the star of the show. They were amazing. I would definitely go back for this dish but our server said they maybe changing it soon. The jambalaya with linguine was good but definitely should have asked for extra sauce. Our server did end up getting us extra sauce for my to-go box. The portions were huge definitely enough for leftovers. read more

My parents and I always pass by Yard House in City Centre and decided to finally give it a try. It's a typical sports bar. I wouldn't say that there's anything special about here, but the food was decent. I do feel like the prices are a bit high for being a sports bar. We started with their spinach dip, which tasted like any classic spinach dip. Can't go wrong with it! I ordered the carnivore pizza, which had good flavor, but the crust was a little soggy. I tried my dad's cilantro lime chicken, which was actually really good and flavorful. Heads up, the calorie counts are listed on the menu. In terms of service, we were immediately seated on a Friday night without a reservation. We did feel like our food did take a while to come out, but our server was very kind and attentive. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I will say that they have a great stereo system. It actually sounds like there's live music playing! There's paid street parking nearby. There's also complimentary garage parking located all throughout the City Centre area. Overall, we had a decent experience at Yard House. I'd probably only come back for their happy hour (Monday-Friday, 3-6 PM). read more

Came for a 60th birthday and immediately felt safe. The vibe is grown...polished without being pretentious, chill without being boring. Not Dave & Buster's chaotic cousin, not Arcodoro's intimidating cool (iykyk). The room actually put our table in a soft-spoken mood, which deserves applause! Third-date, home-plate energy. You're welcome. The menu is thick. Outside of happy hour, take your time or flip straight to the back like I did for the half off section. Now, the food!!! It's the kind of place where everyone finds something they won't complain about. Portions are generous, and I appreciated feeling actually full. I ordered the four-cheese spinach dip, brussel sprouts, and the Korean BBQ cheesesteak with onion rings-comfort, curiosity, and chaos ...balance (healed my Libra soul). The spinach dip arrived warm (not hot) but still delicious. Creamy, flavorful, and the kind of dip I'd eat cold at midnight straight from the fridge (I ate it in the car otw home). The tortilla chips were fresh, crispy, perfectly salted, and non-greasy praise Jah!!! The brussel sprouts tho??? NAILED IT! The texture omg. Tender, caramelized, smothered in a gochujang sauce so good it could start a cult. I would've loved some of that sauce on the side instead of poured on top- I like to choose my own adventure, don't tell me what to do-but flavor wise? Unforgettable. Will order every time for sure. The Korean BBQ cheesesteak looked incredible and smelled amazing but arrived lukewarm and a bit busy flavor-wise. Not bad-just loud. I think the sweetness and the kimchi would've shined more on the side. Maybe even a little pickled radish moment to reset between bites instead of the pickles. ( The pickles were good af tho) That said, the baguette was soft & fresh, and the onion rings were audibly crispy (one of my favorite restaurant sounds). Service was friendly and patient (shoutout to Theo and Courtney), which matters because guests love asking, "So what do you like?" Baby...they work here. Order something. Best part: nothing hurt my feelings financially. Generous portions, kind prices, happy-hour logic. I'd order the cheesesteak again--only if it's on happy hour. I wouldn't pay $17 for it twice. We had our moment. Overall, a good night with food that mostly understood me- even when it didn't fully agree with me. The kind of place you feel taken care of and still comfortable saying, "I'd tweak this-but I'd be back." I left full, happy, and yes...I hugged everyone I knew on my way out. read more
I have been to Yard House many times and never like the food but this time I finally tried the right thing. I got the whiskey glazed salmon with broccolini and mac and cheese. The meal is a great portion, the salmon wasn't over cooked and the sauce wasn't bad (it kinda tastes like bbq sauce a little though), the broccolini was seasoned. Our server was kind and super accommodating. We were in a hurry and needed to order and pay immediately and she made it happen. The restaurant is pretty dark even in the daytime and they were having some kind of leaking from the ceiling so that was the only con but overall it was a good experience read more
I've been to Yardhouse many times, and I was a frequent flyer in the past. We stopped in recently for happy hour and had a great experience. It's just as I remember. Nice ambience, low light sort of dim vibes. The food was great and we went crazy with the 1/2 off appetizers! Service was great. I appreciate the consistency at Yardhouse. (Although they did change the penne pasta recipe lol) I'd stop by anytime for happy hour! read more
Been to the Yard House in Long Beach so I familiar with their menu. Food was on point -ordered a burger with sweet potatoe fries. Delicious. Ordered the Lavender Drop - not so good. Something was missing from the drink but I couldn't pin point it. We had a good size group -seemed like everyone enjoyed their food. My son had the ribeye -yummy! Oh what was missing was no veggie side for every meal -no greens. Seems like all are Ala carte . read more

Food has always been good and PLENTY! Service is ok but it does get VERY busy and there aren't always enough service members. Ambiance is nice outside when the weather permits. Inside it can get quite loud. There are just too many tables inside and it gets quite crowded and the tables are not always cleaned properly, same with the floors. read more

I love coming to Yard House, it's the best bar food you can eat in my opinion. And the drinks are delicious! I love coming here to watch sports or catch up with friends. My favorite items to get here are the Poke Nachos, Tuna Stack, Garlic Noodles, Spicy Edamame, and the Mushroom Pepperoni pizza. The Spicy Edamame is my absolute favorite thing to get here, the sauce and garlic is so tasty. Not too spicy in my opinion but delicious regardless. I think they pair perfectly with the garlic noodles. The Poke nachos are crispy wonton chips topped with fresh tuna, nori, scallions, and jalapeños. Carful, some of the jalapeños can be spicy. The tuna is pretty fresh, the same goes for the tuna stack. Their pizzas are always a great go too, they also provide Parmesan and chili flakes for the pizza. The drink menu goes crazy, they have a lot to offer. I personally haven't had any issues with a bad drink. My go to is the black orchid! Not only pretty but tasty, can't even taste the alcohol. This place is kid friendly, located right in the middle of City Centre, where the green playing area is. It can get pretty busy depending on what day and time you go. They do offer indoor and outdoor seating. Both areas are playing sports and music from the 80s to early 2000's. At the tables they have little machines you can use to either play games, look at the menu, call your server over and even pay. Parking is available at any of the surrounding parking garages. read more
Yardhouse is a blend of a family restaurant and an upscale sports bar. The reason I say the latter is because there are plenty of tv screens playing sports events. But there is also a very appealing menu with plenty of elevated and fusion options The interior is trendy. There isn't much in the way of decor, but everything has dark colors and the lighting can only be described as intimate. There is also a huge fully stocked bar smack-dab in the middle of the restaurant. There are 2 covered patios that on both sides of the entrance, and again, these are relatively dark and intimate, yet inviting The staff is always friendly and helpful. The service is relatively speedy. The only time I've seen them less than friendly is just before closing time when they are about to do their nightly duties and they're trying to usher people out The food is pretty tasty, and they have an extensive beverage list (including in-house brews) Some tips: If you need a place for a family or friends gathering this is a great choice. There is plenty of space and they can easily pull a few tables together. It's also easy to split checks as they use an electronic device on the table that allows you to divvy things us and pay separately. I would consider trying the poke nachos as a starter as they were particularly good. Also, the Korean Philly Cheesesteak was a tasty option. Swing by for happy hour OR late night happy hour for deals. Lastly, consider walking around the City Centre afterwards to go shopping, grab a coffee or some dessert, take in a movie, go bowling, or even do an escape room Cheers!! read more

Yard House never lets me down! We had Madison as our server, she mentioned that she has only been serving at Yard House for 2 months, and still did a wonderful job. Yard House is the place for when there is a FB/BB game going on, this is the place to be. Otherwise, it's calm and chill and the atmosphere is just laid back. We started with the appetizers. 1/2 between 3-6. They have selected drinks and apps on the happy hour menu. We got the cheese balls, lettuce wraps and the Brussels sprouts. Listen to me, if you don't listen to anything else... GET. THE. BRUSSELS. They were the BEST THING on the menu. For my meal, I got the Nashville Hot Chicken. (Not pictured). The food was super amazing. The customer service was just as good. It's not my first time coming and surely won't be my last time coming either. P.S. Get the Brussels. We just recently went back to this little gem. Our waitress was amazing. She completely understood my grandson's severe food allergies and made sure to talk to the kitchen and that his fries and chicken were cooked in the vegan area so avoid cross contamination. She definitely went above and beyond. I wish I could remember her name. His chicken had a wonderful flavor as well. We got the spinach artichoke dip which was absolutely great. It was creamy and came out hot. We also shared the pepper jack burger with truffled fries. The cut it and split our plate for us as well. The burger had great flavor as did the fries. Of course it was happy hour so the dip was half off. Definitely worth the money. We sat outside on the patio. There are always people plenty of TV's and we love to watch all the people walking by and watch the kiddos playing in the courtyard. read more

We came here for appetizers on a Saturday. It was very busy but were were still able to get a table. There were a couple of NFL games being shown on TV so there was a fun ambiance! Service was good and our server made sure to check on us frequently. We had the poke nachos and they were AMAZING! Since we were short on time, we did not try any other items so I will need to come back. read more
