With a 4.4 star overall rating, I thought this place might be worth a shot. I stopped by yesterday for the lunch special. For about $12, You get a choice of either broccoli chicken, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, or string bean beef and they all come with steamed rice or fried rice. I ended up getting 2 lunch specials, 1 orange chicken and 1 string bean beef, both with fried rice. I also got an order of salt and pepper chicken wings because I love me some good salt n peppa wings. The smell in the car ride home was pretty good but unfortunately, that's where anything good ended. The fried rice was bland and had none of the standard veg (carrots, peas, onions, etc) and barely any egg. It honestly looked like soy sauce rice. The orange chicken was a 2.5 out of 5 at best and there were some weird pieces that tasted weird and kinda gamey. The string bean beef was overly salty, beef was chewy, and flavor was just not that good. The best part was the string bean. The biggest disappointment were the salt and pepper wings. At $10.99 for 7 pieces, I was really hoping for some good wings and while the wings were fried fresh and somewhat crispy, they were SO salty. I tend to eat my food pretty salty, according to my wife, and even for me, these wings were borderline inedible due to the saltiness. If they got the salt level right, these would've easily been worth coming back for. Sorry, but I would not return here nor would I recommend it to friends/family. read more

Just went in to this place because I loved it at first, but then I went today and seems like everything's been changed the menu even the food I got Broccoli beef, chow mein, and dumplings and it was $60 like wow that seems overpriced to me. We were in the area for the IN-N-OUT 75th anniversary celebration concert at the Pomona Dragstrip. We stopped by here after searching google and yelp for nearby restaurants. The service was quick and easy, with nice enough order takers. It was a very clean place for the customers. The kitchen area was a bit crowded with supplies but that was okay; it will not affect the ambiance or even your wait time. They had cute decor, little framed art on their walls. Near their self serve soda was a display case showcasing some figurines and a car it was pretty neat to look at while passing time. Even their bathroom was clean. It did not smell like cooked food which I prefer since waiting for food usually makes me pick up all the cooked scents. We ordered number 4 on their menu, the Mongolia, and we picked beef as our protein of choice. It had good taste, even had plenty of sauce in case you wanted to mix your rice in it. The dish itself had lots of onions in it though, just as a heads up for those who cannot handle that. *There was a note stating you could get a free drink with a yelp check in but I couldn't find the usual button for that in the app read more

Got the fire rice and teo chow flat noodle with beef on both. So sad they both were hardened beef and dry rice and noodle. For fresh food I was alarmed at the quality. Could be my luck if draw but this beat Asian food in Santa Ana did not bring with it the best cook! Very disappointed but at least it was reasonable price for large portion. I came by today and ordered the Thai Spicy Curry Chicken w/steamed rice. I also ordered Kung Pow chicken Mandarin style with fried rice. It was ready within five minutes and both were soooo tasty. This place has decent prices and the portions are pretty big. It's freshly made and so far anything I've ordered was excellent. The curry definitely had a zing to it and went well with the steamed rice. The Kung Pow was bomb and super tasty with the fried rice side. If you have a family or if you're single this place is really good. I usually order Chinese food downtown and now when I'm in the area I can order from here.
