    Chicken quesadilla

Came during happy hour (5-7pm), and it's such a great deal. Half priced appetizers, and good deals for the drinks. The service was pretty good, and the food came out quick. The ambiance had an old time feel. Parking was not too shabby.

$6 martinis all day Thursday is what dreams are made of! Our waitress, Brooke, was super sweet and accommodating and gave us some of her favorite recommendations! Loved the patio seating on a sunny day and plan to make this my weekly go-to with the girls moving forward.

    Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries

Walking by I noticed a delicious looking burger. So I swung back later for a late lunch. Cool bar. Always busy. Service was ok. But the burger looked better than it tasted. Definitely your standard bar food level and nothing above and beyond. I ordered the 1/4 cheese burger and added bacon. The bacon could have been a little crispier, the pickles were awesome, and the beef patty was a little weak. I'd order the double patty instead for sure. The fries were Mc Donald's style....my favorite.

This bar just opened and it was really a cute gem. There's and inside and cute patio and huge bar in the middle. Great for meeting up with friends and having a chill time! The people were very friendly. The food was amazing. Like the Buffalo cauliflower and artichoke were beyond bomb. The fries were perfect as well. The drink was very cute & very tasty. The best thing was the service. Paris was my server and she did a great job servicing my table! I will deff return!

    Mimosas @ the bar
    Elizabeth L.

Came here for the first time on a Sunday morning around 11:30 AM. Mimosas - Standard mimosa. No strange aftertaste. Decent strength in alcohol content. Huevos Rancheros - Eggs were cooked perfectly - nice & runny yolk with whites cooked thoroughly. Tostadas were very crispy, but slightly overcooked & a touch burnt. Served with refried black beans spread over the tostadas, a generous, spread of salsa, and cotija cheese. Served with a side of rancheros sauce which tasted like salsa verde. Brunch potatoes - Lightly salted. Cooked nicely - crispy on the outside & soft, fluffy, & tender on the inside. Doesn't get soggy despite sitting on top of salsa. Would have liked more seasoning, but still good. Brunch Burger - Like biscuits & gravy, but on a burger. Flavor is good - very tasty. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Habanero Margarita - actually uses a pretty good reposado tequila - Mi Compo. Very smooth & slightly spicy. Hot Mexican Chili Arbol Wings to go - Came with a hand sanitizing wipe. Medium crispy on the outside. Good flavor. Overall, we had a very nice experience. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Kinsley, was very nice, personable, & very knowledgeable of menu despite only being here for a month. They also have a happy hour between 4-7 PM, so I'd like to try out their happy hour. I'd recommend & I'd come back.

    Fajita steak taco salad

Overall this bar was good. Big selection of drinks. We enjoyed the chip trio and the guac, salsa, and queso were all a hit. Fajita steak on the taco salad was great. We loved the fries. Atmosphere is great with tons of outside tables. Service was kind yet slow.

Still waiting for my coffee in the back corner. Will report back soon. Yelp is making me type more words. Update: coffee secured.

    Elote fritters

I've been here a few times now and I'll keep coming back. They always have great deals on food/drinks, especially their $6 martini night. The elote fritters we're something different on a bar menu but boy we're they good. (Not pictured) the chicken finger basket can be tossed in any of their wing sauces, I recommend getting them tossed in Buffalo sauce. If you're in the neighborhood looking for a bar with good food/drinks I highly recommend spider Murphy!

Great addition to Knox/Henderson! Plenty of seating, great service, pretty good food, and great specials. Ask for the tequila grapefruit shot! Parking is okay after 6pm in the adjacent lot.

    Tex mex bowl
    Kathryn M.

Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday & it was cute, their patio is nice & seems like a fun spot for happy hour or day drinking. I ordered the habanero margarita but it didn't taste spicy at all and had that sweet & sour taste so I wouldn't order it again. I got the tex mex bowl and it was actually very good & huge! The sandwiches looked huge & the chicken sandwich had chicken strips on it and was very good... my friends split the tacos and they came with all the fixings and were also pretty good!

    Cozy!

Food was just bad. Service stunk. Took forever to get drinks and then even longer to order. Don't order the Murphy Cristo or a salad.

I told them I want the order to go, but I'm gonna sit down and eat some of my food in the restaurant like first I take half of my food home with me and only eat half in the restaurant. So this place checked all the boxes for me. It was super cute inside they have outdoor seating. It was clean cute decor TV with a soccer game going and lots of different kinds of choices on the menu everything from a country club chicken wrap to uncle Poly's chicken with mozzarella in a sandwich. I got the country club wrap with a moonshine unsweetened tea and it really hit the spot for me it was delicious. It was fresh and it was a nice serving. I will be back.

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

I was instantly reminded why it is such a Dallas GEM! I did not pop in to eat this time, but to find a nice spot to work with a friend on our laptops and yap over a coffee! And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

I remember the gourmet Eatzi's phenomenon when the chain had a Houston location, which has been closed for almost 20 years. Although I've read Eatzi's may in fact return to Houston, I'll believe it when I see it. What I've always liked about Eatzi's is the high quality and variety of cuisine on offer. For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods. Service here was really good, although I was a bit put off by the long line wrapped around the inside of the store. However, I was able to walk right past it to an easy checkout. Parking here, in my opinion, was easy. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this Eatzi's location in Dallas, and also hope Eatzi's returns to Houston one of these days.
