After passing by this place many times, I decided to finally try it out which was probably one of the best decisions I have made. My friend and I came right before the lunch rush, which we were so glad we did. The place was already packed when we arrived, but right after ordering and sitting down, groups and groups of people started arriving. I got the special for the day which was a mini pizza and I also got a salad. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. The crust was soft yet slightly crispy and definitely chewy. first off as you can see from the pics I ate almost a whole pie my self. But it was not quite what I expected. I was expecting a pie cooked in a more traditional napalitano style. aka higher temps shorter bake time. and the second thing was I ordered a margarita so I was expecting fresh mozzarella and not a dusting if finely shredded cheese. but if you have no preconceived notions this is great pizza, thin not too crispy. very good. I also ordered the trio flathead dip, now that was fantastic! the dough had been docked so it stayed thin with salt rosemary and olive oil. the lemon ricotta dip, roasted pepper goat cheese were very good but the white bean hummus was great. all in all very good. Went here for lunch with some coworkers. Got the Mini Mia lunch special $9.45 which is a small personal pizza and a salad or soup. I chose the pesto pollo and the tomato basil soup. The soup was good, creamy and flavorful. I got to try a few different slices as we all got a different pizza and traded. Mine was my favorite, the crust is light and crispy. Even though it was cold out we got some gelato as well, I forget how much the larger cup costs but the small is more than enough. Got mint chocolate chip which was very good. Came for a late lunch with the boyfriend after I had an intense neapolitan pizza craving. Clean restaurant with a great deal of seating. Wasn't busy at all when we came so we were able to order at the counter, sit down and our food was served promptly after. Ordered the pizza with roasted porcini and portobello mushrooms, then added goat cheese and prosciutto. Pizza was great. Would've liked for the goat cheese to be in large clumps not crumbled up which was unlike any goat cheese I've ever had. The texture was all wrong for goat cheese. Ordered a cup of tomato basil soup and while I generally dislike wasting food, Boyfriend and I each ate a spoon and just couldn't finish it. He thought it tasted like cleaning fluid I just thought it was terrible. Would pass on the soup. Service was great however. They were quick about everything. We have always liked Spin and the Campbell location, however, our recent experience was disappointing. My brother had wanted to eat dinner there for his birthday so my mom called ahead to see if they made reservations, which they did not. We had a party of 11 people and when we got there there were two tables open as they were packed. The lady had told my mom on the phone that when we got, to tell them that we were there with the party and they would do their best to start getting tables together for us. We were waiting at the two tables for another table to open up to add to our tables. A lady that worked there, not sure if she was a manager or who she was came over and told us we could not sit there if we weren't ordering. We were totally going to order but we were trying to make sure we got enough tables for our group and waiting for somebody to leave. So we then had to leave and scramble to try and find another place for his dinner. We ended up at MOD pizza and they were very nice there and we were able to get a table for all of us and have a nice time. I feel like it was completely handled wrong by the employee at spin. We were obviously planning on staying and ordering, but wanted to wait till another table opened up so that we had enough room for our group and could eat together. My daughter was very disappointed as she was really looking forward to the gelato. In the future, we will not plan get togethers at Spin. read more

Love the 7" personal size pizza here weird as that sounds. it's a different crust consistency and not greasy. If you get the larger size 14" pizza we end up not enjoying the crust as much and it ends up being greasier, which we don't like either. Sonoma salad is my go to. Service is always good. We usually eat at their bar so the staff is right in your face asking if you need anything. The gelato is awesome as well. read more

SPIN! sadly has increased pricing (on Mini Mia), reduced [pizza] menu selection and cut cost on their pizza preparation by using microscopic meat pieces. This business used to be a really nice place for artisan pizzas that you just don't find at other places. They had a terrific bargain in the Mini Mia Duo which included 7" pizza, small salad and a drink for less than $10. Now, only the pizza and salad are less than $10; add an iced tea or soft drink and your close to $12 a head.. nearly a 20% price increase. Went there for lunch today and the pizza menu has been cut almost in half. Unfortunately, many of selections removed were the selections I most enjoyed here. Today, I ordered the Pesto Chicken and upon arrival, I almost had to pull out my pocket magnifying glass to find the pieces of chicken. The chicken was cubed, less than 1/4" on a side. On the 7" pizza, I found a total of 5 such pieces... total meat weight I would put at 1 oz... MAYBE! My wife ordered a Chicken & Goat Cheese pizza and commented "where's the chicken?" I handed her my pocket magnifying glass. Sorry to say these folks have rendered their product to effectively "nothing special" IMO and the elevated pricing is the final poke in the eye from mgmt. to its customers. I'll try different kinds of food but I'm not all that adventurous with things like my pizza toppings. I decided to take a break from meat a few weeks ago and live temporarily as a vegetarian (occasional pescatarian). So I went in to Spin today knowing I wouldn't be getting my favorite, The Carni ( Three Meats). I was thinking maybe mushroom, veggie, or just cheese. I still like the food. The Caesar salad and the meat trio pizza are delicious. The last two times we have gone, it has been unorganized. We went on a Friday. It was busy, which is great to see, but we were told in line that there would be a 30 minute table wait. By the time we checked out a minute later, there was a table. This was a positive for us, but a few people left due to the announcement, and maybe some sort of accurate table system could help. When we were seated, the table was quickly wiped down, but the cloth was not clean, and it smelled, which was annoying. So we went back about a week ago...later. It was not as crowded, but once again unorganized. We ordered soup, a Caesar salad, and a pizza. The Mr. ordered a sangria, which was small for what you pay. The pizza came out first, even though we asked for the soup an salad first. The gentleman who brought it out noticed and ran to get everything, but it make the table crowded. Plus, the people behind the counter had plenty of free time to get it out beforehand. I may try the happy hour or take out, but they need to fix these issues before I will come regularly. read more

At first, I was excited to see this new place pop up in my neighborhood, until I saw the menu and walked out. If you want to spend $15-$20 on a 12" pizza, this is the place to go! For $9.95 you get a crust and marinara sauce. Then for the low, low price of $1-$2 each, you can pile on the toppings. It's fun to see how expensive you can make your pizza! How about an $8 sandwich? No? Don't worry, the bowl of soup is only $6. Seriously, Pie Five lets you build your own pizza with whatever toppings you want on it for $7. There are many other pizza options out there. read more

It needs a full bar, not just beer & wine. The flavor of the pizza wasn't as good as my other favourite Neapolitan Pizza places. It was was ok, but that could have just been my wrong choice. The blood orange sangria was super tasty, but not very strong. You're totally safe having it on your lunch break. It's a fairly cool vibe in there. Ate here for lunch today and wasn't impressed. I had a mini 3 meat pizza and caesar salad. I ate more crust than toppings due to the pizza being mostly crust than toppings. Some of the croutons on the salad were well-done/seemingly burnt and stale-tasting, and the dressing was not good. I've gotten more & better pizza and salad for less at other places. read more

First visit is always shaky ... Ordering and paying before you sit, so trying to get an idea of what you want to eat beforehand can be chaotic. Find your own table. Another chaotic situation, if it is crowded (like a Friday night). The waitstaff brings you your food and drinks (not self serve). Food: Spinach & Goat Cheese Salad - Awesome! Would order it every time. Flatbread with Hummus - bread is amazing! Melts in your mouth. The hummus was a little thin/liquidy, but had a good garlic taste. Tre Carni pizza (12") w/original crust - really good and tasty. Crust was nice and thin, not too much sauce and lots of pepperoni, Italian sausage, but no so many meatballs. Only poor thing was the service. Our drinks never got refilled, no one asked if we needed ToGo boxes. It seemed they were more concerned with cleaning tables than serving customers. After dinner, we even went to the Gelato bar to get some gelato, but everyone behind the counter was too busy drying washed utensils. No one even acknowledged us. We left with no gelato. Summary: Food - Excellent Atmosphere - Loud and chaotic Service - Very Poor Price - Average (approx $30 for our meal) Good food, but don't expect stellar service. Hope this helps! read more

Really had pretty low expectations as this new fast-casual pizza concept seems to be popping up everywhere lately but honestly the ingredients were all very high quality--good crust, fresh sauce, cheese, and basil, generous pepperoni that got nice and crispy on the edges. It was weird that there were SO many employees milling around but i'm sure they're just trying to figure out what will work best. Our pizza came out in a jiffy but the table next to us had to wait awhile. They don't have a huge beer selection but there are a few standard local options. You order at the front but then have a waiter at your table so you don't pay until you're done. And as some have mentioned, it seems overpriced. We split a 12" pizza with two waters for $16 including tip. Could have gotten a lot more pizza for our money elsewhere. But...it was pretty good! So I'll probably be back. read more

Ordered the Chicken and roasted pineapple mini-mia pizza which came with a tasty salad (ordered the Sonoma). Really tasty and loved the sweet roasted pineapple flavor on the pizza. Service was good but most of the staff are still learning the ropes (remember this was a soft opening). Staff are friendly and seemed to interact really well with the customers (from what I observed with other tables and servers). I make it a pretty firm rule of thumb never to go to a restaurant that has not been open for at least a month. That said, on our way home from church Sunday, we stopped here after having read a good review on our neighborhood website. It was delightful! BBQ Pizza was light and wonderful! Fresh herbs at all, Staff greeted us on entering and made us comfortable with their operations and how they worked. Seating was comfortable and there was ample staff to make sure we were well taken care of. The place is VERY welcoming! I'm pushing 60 and was very comfortable, nice music, not blaring but nice background, Sports TV to watch. All was clean and comfortable! We choose to sit on the patio (Sunday was beautiful) and received great care. TRY the Tiramisu! It was PERFECT! Yeah, we will be back! read more

The hostess was confusing at first. We were to wait in line for 30-35 minutes to order. Then she said oh I mean for sitting at a table but you need to order now. Then she said oh you can sit at the bar then order. We sat at the Bar it took 7 minutes to order drinks It took 5 minutes to get them. Another 10 to finally take our food order. And right after that we were told it will be 45 minutes before you will get your appetizer and food order. Appetizers showed up in 23 minutes. In which were not impressive to eat. We ordered two pizzas on wheat. One was a chicken and another was bbq chicken Crust dry tasting and feel on both. Bbq sauce way too much and way too sweet.
