    Crown Spires Burger.

The food and service at this location is excellent! I've gone here twice so far and have not been disappointed one bit. The experience is pleasant from start to finish. Both times my girlfriend and I have come here we've been seated immediately and helped right away. What I've tried so far: - Crown Spires Burger: A plump burger with bacon and onion rings. Delicious and pairs well with a side of their lovely fries. Golden and crispy, and my forever choice of side! - San Franciscan Sandwich: Perfectly toasted sourdough bread is home to a thick beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and pickles. Tastes amazing, no doubt. I paired this with their fries as well. Dip them in ranch! Service is always excellent. A server checked on us (and everyone else) frequently. No cup was ever left half full. Everyone is friendly. I highly recommend this place!

It's nice to see restaurants like this still serving breakfast lunch and dinner all day long from 6 AM to 10 PM. Food is delicious and well priced great atmosphere for the family. Can't wait to come back.

Spires Restaurant is a breakfast institution for over 20 years! The French toast was toast-worthy (thick bread, yay!), and the sausage was juicy and tasty. However, the country plate's gravy needed a pep talk (more pepper, please!) and the helpers could use some finesse (no grabby hands for hot sauce or sugar, please!). Despite some bumps, the server was top-notch. Now, rumor has it Spires is closing soon to make way for... Crap Shack? Guess that's one way to shake things up!

This is an old school diner with plenty of options , I had the Denver omelette with home potatoes and toast, it was very good, very tasty and fresh. The service was super fast and attentive , the ambiance is that of an old diner , clean inside with a whole of seating , I would definitely come here again for lunch , dinner or breakfast .

Food is very tasty! Price is reasonable. I have been here at least a couple times after recently trying it. My only complaint although as minor as it may be is the server was speaking to me. I know he could speak Spanish because I overheard him talking to his coworkers in spanish. I would order in spanish and he would refuse to respond back in spanish and continued in English. Not sure if he just wanted the practice but at least accommodate your customers.

I'm so happy there are still a couple of Spires locations around! I used to dine at one with my grandparents when I was a kid, and that location is no longer. My husband and I stopped in during breakfast hours and were happy we could order from the entire menu. We did not feel like breakfast food. I had the tuna melt with cole slaw. My husband had the turkey melt with fruit. We split both plates. Both were fantastic. I'd definitely order that again if I'm ever in the area. Service was great, and the ambiance was pure nostalgia.

Decent food spot. Service was good. Food was cool. Portions are okay. Pricing is decent. Decor is retro like a 1980s restaurant. Felt like I walked into a time capsule. Semi nostalgic and semi needs some updating. Overall, good quick restaurant.

Is it true this place is closing? i heard it is but i sure hope not

I believe Spires in Tustin has been permanently closed as of 8/5/25. Its sad to see another iconic place of business shut down. Its been a family tradition to take the grandparents and kids there for the last 15 years.

Our server was very warm and helpful. For two of us we ordered one heavier dish and 3 on the lighter side and I actually left pretty stuffed. The menu is always evolving so I'd love to return, but for this visit we started with the bread and ham butter. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ham butter imparted so much flavor. My favorite item that we ordered was the Galician Octopus. The thin slices were perfectly executed and the flavors underneath packed a punch. I would pass on the Gambas al Ajillo. While the shrimp were large, I found myself wishing that they had some char. The Summer Squash Salad was a perfect complement to the other dishes. I found the squash ribbons to be unique, the dressing to be light and fresh, and the inclusion of small bits of cheese to impart just the right amount of saltiness to the dish. Because we were celebrating my birthday, they gave us a complimentary slice of the basque cheesecake with a candle in it. Typically I'm not a big fan of this type of cheesecake, but theirs was wonderful and we ate the whole thing. I'm always appreciative when a restaurant does a little something extra for a special occasion. Extra props to our server because she noticed the gift that my friend brought for me and took it upon herself to inquire about the occasion and bring the dessert. It's those little touches that mean a lot.

Fat of the Land was such a nice treat…read more I went here with two other people to celebrate a birthday dinner. Making reservations is recommended since the restaurant is small but making it wasn't too difficult. We were impressed by how cute it was. It had a dark European vibe which we loved. It's definitely intimate and great for small groups, not so much larger ones. We brought in our own wine to enjoy with a corkage free. We got seated right away and our nice waiter gave us great recommendations and answered our many questions. We ended up ordering a lot between all three of us but that's just how we roll. We started with their bread & ham butter, pork pate, and burrata. The pork pate didn't come with bread so we were glad our waiter recommended it. The pate was really good and was different. It was on the dense side but still spreadable and full of flavor. The burrata had peaches, cherries and pinenuts. It was different but in a good way and we also ate that with the bread. It was more bland and nice with the pate. For dinner we got their steak tartare, mushrooms, chicken, and pork. The steak tartare was on the saltier side which I didn't mind. It was actually a large portion and sat on some toast. The mushrooms were a hit. They were braised with an onsen egg on top to mix. The pork was exceptional. It was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it for protein. My least favorite dish was the chicken, which was actually super tender and cooked just right. I just didn't like the sauce taste and I am not a fan of beans. We ended the night with some basque cheesecake which was not too sweet and delicious. What an incredible meal. The pricing we thought was good for the quality and what you get. Some of the portions were smaller but good for us. The pork did have a 40 minute wait to make which our waiter told us. Service was amazing and the food came out as it was made. The restaurant is small so reservations is recommended. They have limited parking and there is also street parking around.

I'd found this restaurant on Yelp and convinced the others to join me in checking it out. It's a relaxed spot where you order at the register, receive a number, and then find your own seat. I usually feel rushed making menu choices when there's a line behind me, but this time, we were the only ones waiting, and the kids quickly decided on their breakfasts. Finding a table for four was effortless. The cashier was neutral--neither especially friendly nor rude, simply efficient at her job. My man really enjoyed his coffee, and I liked mine too, though I can't quite remember which kind of latte I ordered. We shared a Salmon Eggs Benedict--a perfect combination of poached egg, creamy hollandaise, and smoked lox. Delicious! My daughter ordered the kids' pancake with egg and bacon and said it was good. My partner's daughter opted for a huge breakfast burrito with chorizo--she liked it, but couldn't finish the generous portion. It was the perfect way to enjoy our final breakfast in Irvine.

We happened to be in the Tustin area looking for brunch and stumbled across Santa Ana Brunch Club…read moreon Yelp. The menu looked incredibly tempting, and the vibe was giving Long Beach hipster... in the best way. I was immediately into it. Before we even get to the food, let's talk about the drinks because they completely stole the show. The Berry Bloom Shrub Soda was bright, refreshing, and unlike anything I'd had before. The Horchata Signature Kyoto Iced Latte was absolutely phenomenal. If you've never had Kyoto-style coffee, it's a slow-drip cold brew that's brewed one drop at a time over many hours instead of being steeped all at once. The result is an incredibly smooth, naturally sweet coffee with almost no bitterness. Combined with their house-made horchata, it was easily one of the best coffee drinks I've had. I later grabbed a Black Strap Molasses Latte to go, and that was just as impressive. For brunch we ordered the Steak & Eggs, French Omelette, and Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast. Every plate that came out looked like it belonged in a magazine. The Steak & Eggs was ok. Since it's flank steak, a couple of bites had some inedible gristle, but the chimichurri was bright and flavorful, and I'm so glad I substituted the crispy house potatoes over fries... they were great and fried to perfection. The French Omelette was good. I was excited for the caviar, but the flavor was mostly overshadowed by the aged cheddar. The real surprise was the toast points. They were unbelievable!! Somehow like the buttery layers of a croissant transformed into perfectly toasted bread. I could've eaten an entire basket of those alone. The Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast was delicious as well. It leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but the milk bread gave it an incredibly soft, rich texture that made it hard to stop eating. The staff was exceptional. I can stress enough how grateful I was for friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful staff throughout our meal. My only disappointment came after I got home. I impulse-purchased a jar of their orange marmalade because I couldn't wait to spread it on a warm croissant. Unfortunately, the lid was covered in rust, and the jar wasn't sealed. I'm not familiar with the canning process or safety requirements, so I wasn't comfortable taking the risk and ended up throwing it away. That was a real letdown. Even with that hiccup, I'd come back to try some other items on the menu. The Kyoto-style lattes and Berry Bloom Shrub Soda alone are worth the trip, and next time I'll probably explore more of the menu. Spending over $100 for brunch set my expectations pretty high, but the drinks, atmosphere, and service definitely made this a memorable stop. If anything, I'd just skip the packaged marmalade next time and head straight for another Kyoto latte.
