Yum yum yum yum. I loved the Spitz downtown. I loved the one in Cottonwood Heights (I think that's where it is), and I love this one. I especially love that this one is only 15 minutes at most away from me. Great new location. Great staff. Same delicious menu. I've already told several of my friends who've tried it before to go. It's hard to beat the richness of Mediterranean food. There are so many textures to it. This is by far one of my favorite Utah restaurants. Not too pricey and always delivers. Different from the norm too. Love that it's near the outlets and a couple of theaters as well. I'm sure it will do well in it's new location. I plan on supporting it often! read more

This lunch spot was highly recommended by locals. I was looking for something a bit different and needed it delivered. This location only delivers catered orders. By all accounts the catered menu was not as good as the regular menu. I will give a try again for my next event. Let's see if they improve. read more

I loved their food! They also have beer and kombucha on tap which is great. So yummy and full of flavor, we went on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and it was the perfect time. Not a lot of people so we got our food pretty quickly. I would for sure go again! read more

Thanks to a new diet, I have to get wraps a lot. I wanted to get a take out order while at work, getting back to my hellish office and simply wanting to enjoy a nice meal at least. I was excited to try this. I was leery about slaw, but was willing to give it a try. There was only one deal breaker, no tomatoes. Using the grubhub plugin for yelp. I put on No Tomatoes. Low and behold, what does it have on it. Gobs of tomatoes. Now, I could let it slide that they weren't informed properly from this plugin. I proceeded to pull the paper off the wrap. However, the wrapper was holding on like Tiger Woods is holding onto his hairline. Maybe it's designed to digest with the wrapper. If so, I don't know how, because that's a lot of darn thick paper. While trying to unwrap, it exploded and went all over the place. This left me picking at the innards of the wrap like some coyote picking over road kill. So, now I'm sitting even more tired when I started. Desk a mess with no satisfying meal. Those bits of meat and veggies I was able to eat were good. This place is super cute. The food is really good and the service is great. The kids loved writing on the floor to ceiling chalk boards. The cinnamon sugar pita squares are amazing - everyone in our party loved them. It was busy when we got there but the tables turned over quickly. I have been so excited to try Spitz but hadn't made the drive to the other two locations. I was thrilled to see a new one open up in Lehi! It was packed at lunchtime on a weekday. The menu looks really good, but the food was just ok. My sweet potato fries arrived cold & dried out. I should have asked about the chicken. I am super picky about meat & figured chicken was a safe choice. I was so disappointed when my Doner arrived & the chicken was dark brown. I do not eat dark meat & this chicken was the darkest of dark meat, all chopped up & mystery meat-looking. The menu says "Your choice of freshly minced beef & lamb, chicken or mixed meat. . ." I guess it's spelled out right there. I didn't understand the "freshly minced" applied to the chicken and that it would be dark meat. For people who like dark meat, this will obviously not be an issue and, to be fair, the rest of my party was happy with what they ordered. I picked what filling I could out of the wrap. The bites that I did take weren't flavorful despite having garlic aioli. My friend ordered street cart fries- fries covered in yummy sauce & Greek fixings. Those were a standout. If I go back, I'll have to get the falafel. For my fellow Yelpers leery of dark meat, beware. read more

I am not sure if it is just this location or if Spitz has changed how they cook things. Either way, I did not enjoy my last meal. I ordered the crunchy chickpeas and they were not crunchy and they did not have any spices on them as they had previously. They were laying on a bed of lettuce and they gave me salad dressing with them. Before they were just fried spiced chickpeas with fried kalamata olives, they were delicious. This was a soggy mess. I also ordered the streetcar fries with the works and picked falafel as the protein. The falafel tasted as though it had been over mixed and they had things added later to help them to stay together during the frying process. It was not a good as the falafel used to be. It was sad because Spitz was a favorite place of mine and it seems the menu has been washed out and all the best parts are taken​ away. Such a disappointment. I will not be returning, there are just too many great restaurants popping up all the time to gamble on them getting back to being great like they once were. read more

Horrible customer service, so unfriendly and they clearly know it, they even slide in to charge you extra $$ in their 'tax' figuring no one would tip them for their service. Check your receipts. read more

Food is great and you get plenty of it. We got the garden bowls and they were full of veggies. We also tried the Berliner fries. The Berliner Red Sauce is very good. You can get dairy free, gluten free and vegetarian. read more

Went here on a whim one night after trying out their fried pita strips at their SLC location (which by the way have taken us there for those alone more than once) and I have to say... It was kind of a let down! It was a busier night, which is great for the restaurant since it only recently opened! But my pita was dry and the tortilla kind of fell apart in the wrap it came in before I was halfway done. I was hoping for stronger flavors but maybe it was made exactly like an authentic pita and I can't fault it for that. I also had to go to the counter to get a refill for a soda (which is not really a problem), I just wish they had a machine for customers to fill their own drinks since they don't have waiters frequently managing the tables. Something that really made this place stand out from other restaurants is their eccentric decor and the board games they let you play while you eat! I'm usually very optimistic about my experiences at restaurants and am willing to try them multiple times so that I have a concrete opinion. So, when I come again, I will have to try something else! read more

It's Americanized Greek food. It doesn't taste like anything I had in Greece. If you're looking for authentic taste this isn't the place. I also felt it was too pricey. I never leave bad reviews, but I just want to warn people to not eat here unless you have a lot of time to eat. A friend and I went yesterday and ordered then sat down. After about 30 minutes, I mentioned to the server that we had been waiting a long time. He said he'd check on our order then come back. After another 15 minutes and noticing that people who came in after us had received their food, I went to the front to again say we were waiting on our meal. (Someone from the table next to us had also been waiting that long and also went to ask where their food was). Not long after that the server brought our bowls. We had both ordered Remix bowls which were very tasty but the meat was very cold. I had also ordered pita bread and hummus for my toddler, which he said he would be right back with. But then another 15 minutes went by and we had to again go to the front and ask for the food for my starving child. In conclusion, the food here is good but don't go unless you don't mind waiting an hour to get all your food. read more
