There were two groomers and each took one my dogs and both received the full spa treatment while I waited and watched through the window in the waiting room. ANIMAL ABUSE. THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY. Took my dog there in on Saturday to be groomed. I have a small 6 pounds maltese not only they didn't groom my dog the owner was giving me someone else's dog insisting that I'm crazy and since they did such a great job I don't recognize my own dog. That's funny right?? any how after 5 minutes of back and fort I go to the back with the owner and see my dog wet in a covered cage shivering who know how long she was there. they didn't even know there was a dog there. ARE F****** KIDDING ME???? Their excuse was oh there were a lot of small white dogs today.....So I took my dog and ran out of that store this was the worst experience of my life. The owner (lady) didn't even offer anything and she didn't even credit my credit card back she just gave me cash back. ??????? no apology no nothing even though it wouldn't have mattered because what they did was uncalled for. so dog owners and dog lovers please do not take your dogs there. When I got there I thought they would not do a good job but when he came out of the shop he looked so cute and clean love this place.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! UNLESS YOU WANT TO HEAD OUT WITH A $300 VET BILL AND THE POSSIBILITY OF YOUR DOG LOOSING HIS EYE SIGHT!!! I have never been so livid before in my life. My fiance took our Corgi Bruce to get a flea bath and afterwards noticed he kept winking his right eye..he didn't think much of it at the time and thought maybe he was just tired and winking his eye. We went to a movie and came back and noticed it was way worse and that he couldnt even open it and was acting strange...like he was in pain. We immediately took him to a 24 hour vet where they found he had a CORNEAL ULCER and the doctor went on to explain that it seemed as though it was caused by the SOAP FROM THE FLEA BATH getting into his eye and causing the ulcer. Mind you we had put flea medication on his back and asked if there was anyway that could have cause it and she said based on the way the dye showed it was dispersed it was from soap...shes seen this happen before. Mind you shes a Veterinarian. Am I a Veterinarian...NO... is the owner of Splash Doggie a Veterinarian...NO... are any of the groomers there Veterinarians???...NO. So I decide to go in the next morning to speak with the owner... At first she was pretty easy to talk to and handled the manner in a nice fashion. I understand it is the last thing you want to hear as an Owner...that a dog was hurt while in your shop but she handled speaking with me and going over what I would like to be done. I explained to her that I thought it was only fair to pay the Vet bill. (He's currently under 3 medications that we need to administer to him at scheduled times to ensure his eye recovers and that he does not loose sight in his eye). She agreed to pay over 3 payments for the next 3 months which i thought was fair. SIgned a document we hand wrote together and then had one of her groomers go over to the cvs across the street to try to make copies for her record. As she called over the groomer who was to run the errand the owner asked her about our dog and if she remembered bathing him...or dog is a corgi mind you and you dont see many of them so they are hard to forget. The groomer looked puzzled as if she didnt remember washing the dog and then the owner looked at paperwork and said that it was actually someone else who was not there that washed our dog. The groomer proceeded to walk across the street after being let off the hook to get the copies made. I'm waiting and the groomer comes back with no copies because she found out they don't make copies at cvs. I say nicely that i can just take a picture with my scanning app and email them. So as I'm taking a picture to email the groomer comes over and says out loud..."oh wait, your dog was the brown and white one...i remember he had something green in his eye...did you notice that?" right away the owner is like "see, you're lying, he had something already and youre trying to put it on us...give me back my check and forget the agreement!" THIS IS WERE I BECOME LIVID... AND YOU AS A READER CAN UNDERSTAND BECAUSE A) now this groomer all the sudden remembers our very unforgettable corgie named bruce willis and further that B) he had something green in his eye as he was taken in. HOW CONVENIENT...that after taking the vet papers across the street to get copied she came back and suddenly remembered our dog and that he had something in his eye. All I can say is that if that were even the case as a professional groomer you would point that out to the owners before proceeding to wash the dog and around his eye that you apparently think you saw something green in. I can just tell you our dog is beyond babied...people love him we love him and we pay so much attention to him that we would have noticed something in his eye prior to taking him in and got it check out right away. But that obviously was not the case...obviously this groomer is lying and tried to call us liars and make us seem like the bad people here. The owners actions after the groomer obviously lied were ATROCIOUS. She began to call me a liar and go back on her word and agreement that she had just signed. At this point we just hope that Bruce's eye heals properly and that his sight will not be affected. But please read all the bad reviews about this place. Real dog lovers would never handle an incident this way or customers who trust them with the safety and well being of their dogs. (and please see photos i will attach) read more

Ive been giving this place my business for almost half a year now. Last time I wrote a four star review, and honestly I need to dock three more stars because of how awful the lady at the front desk is to everyone. I brought my pooch in here recently, and she had a bit of an accident in the lobby. Without saying any word to me, the lady at the front simply made an "AHEMM" noise and threw a bag at me all while pointing with her eyes. I understand wanting your customers to clean up after their animals (something I will ALWAYS do) but to treat it with such disregard and rudeness is completely uncalled for. This is an ANIMAL grooming center...animals are going to have accidents and things will happen. If you are that disgusted with it, then don't own or work at a shop like this. Following that, she kept going on and on about how last time she under charged me, as if it was my fault. I understand mistakes happen in billing, but if a shop keeper under charges a customer, thats on them. They can't barrage a customer with the information months later... They've definitely lost my business just based off the fact that they treat their customers poorly. Its a shame because the young man that grooms my dog is excellent. read more

I took my dog in the afternoon and they weren't busy at all, which I guess would explain why it took less than hour (wash package only). Well, they did wash him but not very well since he still had tear stains around his eyes. Also, I was told he didn't like being hand dried so what did they do instead? Put him in a cage, set large tubes through the grates and blew hot air on him. I was alarmed since I heard him whining, panicking, overall distressed and wanting to get out. It's like putting him in a hot car at that point, what if the metal was too hot for his paws? Finally, they pulled him out and he was shaking! I saw this through the window where the girl was brushing him. He saw me and got excited, I can tell she had had enough. She tied a stupid bandana around him and set him on the ground to let him go. The groomer didn't even come out. She had to attend to a soaking wet dog, waiting for her in the sink. My poor dog was so agitated he walked right passed me and if that front door was open he would've bolted WITHOUT HIS COLLAR AND LEASH. I asked the receptionist where his leash and collar was and she nonchalantly said, oh I guess the groomer still has it. (Do they usually hand back pets without their IDs?) Once I put on his collar, I paid and left. When I took him home, I realized they cut his nails too short to the point of bleeding. If you want a rushed job go here. But if you have a shelter dog or a really shy one, go somewhere else. ps- The lady even tried to sell me Avon products at one point....what kind of business is this? read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my pup to get groomed on Sunday. They did a hack job on her, I called and set it up so my mom could take my dog to get her horrible hair cut fixed the next day. A few hours later I get a call from my mom while at the groomers that my dogs tongue was cut!! I speak to the groomer and he's a complete smart ass, the manager was understanding and gave me my money back but I was still upset. My poor dog left bleeding. Basset hounds don't like their toenails ground or clipped. In addition, their nails are extremely tough. Now add approximately 50 lbs. of full chested strength and you have a challenge for any groomer. Melissa and Cal were up to this challenge. I will definitely go back for a full grooming and to utilize the bathing tubs. Place is spotless and attractively laid out. Owner is very sweet and is very helpful. She has great pride in her business. You have option of waiting for your pets in an area with chairs and tables. Coffee and cookies is available for clients. I've been coming here for over a year and my dog is 12 lbs and is a small dog breed being half Maltese half toy poodle. They have been charging me small dog price the whole time but today they decided that she's a medium size. Which I didn't agree with so they charged me for small/medium.. I was like ok whatever. Well maybe i because I argued about it, they didn't cut my dogs hair very well. It's uneven and doesn't look as nice as other times. I won't be taking my dog here anymore. The lady who runs this place is nice. I've brought my dog here almost a dozen times. Sometimes my dog looks ok, other times he looks great. Overall, not a bad place. When I went to pick up my dog today, the owner's son thought the best way to manage while his parents are gone is to be rude with customers. The guy is dressed unprofessionally, speaks to people with disdain, and decided to best way to proceed was remove $40 cash from the till and wave it in my face. read more

My wife and I took our dog there for the first time after going to Petco this whole time. We really like the girl at Petco that does our dog but she is always very busy and the wait can be long. Here the girl was new to this and a rookie but really took her time and did a great job. You could tell she really liked dogs and was trying hard to do everything the way we wanted it. Took our Arthur here today, and we were very pleased. They are fast, did a great job, and were good to our baby, which is the most important. He is a shedder, and usually other groomers do not brush him good enough, but this place did a wonderful job. Plus they sent him home with a cute bandana and some treats. What a great little place! I went there with my little chihuahua mix, Tuktuk, and she was petrified. I haven't had her for long, but I can tell she's probably never been to a groomers in her life & she didn't know what to make of it, so she was scared. The guys were both so great with her, though, that she never even tried to bite them which says a great deal about how they handle your dog. I watched everything through the window & my little Tuktuk kept checking for me which was a big comfort to her & me too for that matter. While you wait, they have coffee & snacks for owners & a couple of tables & chairs where you can sit & watch everything. They shampooed, dried, cleaned her ears, her teeth, & buffed her nails. The price for everything was $30.00 which I found very reasonable. We'll be back again, that's for sure! Thanks guys! read more

We like bathing our own pups. This provides you with all you need, warm water, blow drying, towels, even shampoos. Or bring your own. Tubs are at perfect height so you don't have to be bending over. Oh, aprons also so you don't get your clothes wet. read more

I am very displeased with this facility. First of all, I had brought my dog in at 1:30 and the owner told me that his grooming would take at most 2.5 hours since they had one groomer. I was ok with that but my dog was not ready for pick up until 6:00! That is not acceptable. Furthermore, the groomer did not listen as I had asked for rounded ears and instead gave him straight-edge ears. Moreover, the groomer gave my dog a pink bandana and sprayed him with "blueberry fragrance" for female dogs when my dog was clearly a male. The groomer would ave known this if he would have paid attention. When I picked him up, I noticed a nick on his left hind leg and the groomer did not bother to mention this to me. Moreover, shortly after his visit I began noticing redness and swelling around his belly. I took him to the vet the next day to find out that he had fleas and flea dermatitis! My dog has never before had fleas in his 3 years of life! It makes me question whether or not they properly sanitize their tools between animals. Moreover, my dog had only been staying indoors and walking on concrete after the appointment so this is the only place he could have gotten fleas. I am very disappointed and frustrated as my dog now has to deal with having fleas along with sanitizing my entire household. Such a poor, poor establishment and I would not recommend this grooming facility if you love your pets. read more

Love this place! I was looking for so long for a nice groomer since moving from NY and we definitely found them! The location is very simple- you can watch your pets getting groomed (if you want), but I prefer to let them do their thing without me gawking and also making my babes nervous. Cheap, considering they do high-quality baths with expensive shampoos and sprays. And really nice, like they're kind to your animals. One thing I will say though is it's kinda difficult to get to their location because of the construction right now but other than that- stop searching, at least try them. read more

Took my friend's dog here to get cleaned up while dog sitting her, and was delighted to have MICHELLE as my groomer...super friendly, great attitude, and knows what she's doing. She takes her time and does exactly what you ask, but ever better than you could envision it. She is knowledgable about all the different breeds and specific cuts and what would not only look good, but what type of cut or trim is appropriate for your dog. Great doggie groomer place!! They are always accommodating for clients. They really try to help if you are tight on time and that is very important to me. I've called so many groomers and they do not try to make time to groom my two shitzus if I do not have an appointment. It can be frustrating because you think of all the groomers out there, they would want your business. Splash has really made it easy for me to come last minute, if I need to. Also, reasonable, fair prices as well. Customer service is great and I adore their groomers. Always very friendly and helpful. I decided to try a new place to get my dog groomed and at first was very pleased that they were able to take him right away, the place was small but very clean. The staff was friendly and they didn't take too long, but on my way home with him I noticed a lot of places where he wasn't cut. The more closely I looked at him he looked like he got butchered. And I know my dog will move around and give groomers a hard time but the other place I take him to did a much better job than that.
