The regular size is already enough to share amongst a couple of people, but they offer an even bigger size if you want. The mango always tastes ripe and fresh and the shaved ice is nice and creamy. The condensed milk on the side is a nice touch so you can adjust sweetness as desired. The mango is already sweet for me so I like to pour the condensed milk on the shaved ice instead. The ordering process is straightforward--either with a person or through a kiosk, and the interface on the kiosk is nice and organized. The inside is spacious with lots of seating as well as a little rec corner to play games and such. Will continue to stop by this place when I'm in the area!

I got the takoyaki and it's not good at all. The fish balls are ok and the fries ok and the sausages were my favorite (even though it's too expensive for two mini sausages). So this is a too long post just to say they basically this shop is just mediocre and I'll still come back but it's very expensive and there's hits and misses. The quality/consistency is all over the place depending on who is on duty behind the counter and how busy they are etc... next time I go I will try to take photos.

The menu offerings are pretty standard, and you can't go wrong with the fruit teas. My only guidance is to order them at 0% sweetness because the fruit flavorings are very sweet on their own. There is limited seating inside and outside, but it seems like most customers order their drinks to-go (campus is across the street, and downtown Davis is a couple of blocks away). Even with new boba shops opening in Davis all the time, I still go to RareTea for the consistency and convenience.
